Lately every time to go to this post office to mail an item, there is always an issue around service. This is particularly so with one of the elder female staff. She is very rude, will not offer important information when it comes to shipping items. I recently had an incident where the the address on my package was coming up incorrect on her computer. I know it was correct but the postal computer was having some difficulty matching the address with the zip code. She's looking right at the monitor in front of her and would not answer the question if it was the address or the zip not lining up? Instead she sends me to the zip code book and immediately leaves her post and closes the window. One of the other workers, who must be accustomed to this behavior calls me over to her window and immediately resolves this issue. Turns out the address I had listed on the package was correct. I was so easy breezy, but not with the other woman. I've had problems with her each and every time I encounter her as a representative of the Halsey Station. It does matter how nice I am to her! One other time she nearly got into a back and forth with me after I said to her, I would like to send a particular package 1st class. She responded by saying, "I know how to send it!" I was a bit shocked as I was only telling her how I would like for the package to be sent. This is my right as a customer. Just every single time, her attitude is very bad, she is lazy and refuse to do her job efficiently and smoothly. She often pretends to be polite and efficient with the use of her condescending tone, but this can not replace good and efficient customer service. Maybe its time she retires!!
