My post office box was broken into from the lobby. I lost all of my mail plus a package that contained a sweater. A product from Ebay was marked as having been delivered to this post office box. I never received it. Because Ebay received notice that the package had been delivered, they will not give me a refund. Now I am going through the same thing with a pair of slacks from Ebay. Either you have a thief working in your post office who is stealing instead of putting packages in mailboxes or you have a careless employee who is putting packages in the wrong box. I am tired of this as no one at the Converse Post Office seems to care. They do not answer the door for post office box customers a lot of the time. It seems like a hopeless situation.

This is the worst Post Office I have ever delt with. Do not rent a post office box here and I hope you are never a residential customer. I have witnessed both of these areas at this Post Office. There should be a "NO NOTICE" Inspector General Investigation into this place and some employees need to be fired. These employees put fake smiles on their faces and give bogus apologies for customers having to wait in line. While waiting, the only thing the customer may be waiting for, is to retrieve a package from a P.O. Box that fits in from the secure area side, but won't come out the customer side due to the hinges on the P.O. Box. (IE., the employee should have left a key for another larger box in that customers P.O. Box as a courtesy). Another example is to watch a customer in front of you show up with a phone in hand with proof that an item was delivered, yet even when the employee goes to the back they say the package will not be delivered until the next day. If you move and put a change of address in with these employees, well, expect that whatever date you chose for that to occur that your mail will start to become LOST instead of forwarded as your address changes for your bills and such take affect. Lastly the Post Office apparently has no staff to answer phone calls or does not care to answer and that is just plain RUDE. Now it appears that an automated system is in place, however if you select to speak with an employee, you never speak to someone. THEY JUST DO NOT ANSWER!!

This post office is such a waste. I have been calling and calling and Calling no answer. First of all I mailed a box to my son, they never received it. *Used tracking number it says it was delivered to a parcel box. He checked for keys to get into the lock box there were no keys. He went to the post office no one seems to know anything about the box. I even called customer care center they wee suppose to investigate never did. Someone needs to find my package. Would be nice if there was a competent person around the post office that could help.. I am so frustrated with this post office.

We have had our mailboxes broken into so many times. The last time the USPS jus bend the mailbox back and place and shut it. This caused it to be broken into once again. It has been two months and no one has come out to replace this faulty mailbox that is so flimsy you could open with a butter knife. With all the incidents they should be putting out a camera as well. It is not right that we have to go to the post office to get our mail. In fact, they even gave our neighbor mail for the whole street for him to deliver. This is not acceptable.

Ever Since I have moved back to Texas, San Antonio, Converse, all of the Postal Mail People, have been such a big help and kind to me. Especially when my loved one was sent to rehabilitation by the court's. The PostalMail People have been there for me since I do come in every other week to mail boxes with my letters out. Horrific do not use at all whatsoever buy a PO Box in a closer ZIP Code Converse postal Service is total BS. At least mailman in my neighborhood does not give one blank (keeping it PG on this) about any of your items you’re getting in the mail or your property, there’s a certain old man with glasses and a mustache, he’s either an older Hispanic man or an older White man that likes to break other peoples trash cans by slamming into them with his mail car and he also likes breaking records and half others things that say fragile on them and shoving them in the mailbox also breaking countless antiques, that say fragile on them!! Just shoving them in mailboxes instead of walking the 15 feet to my house!!! He also told me that if my trash cans in his way from now on he’s just gonna wait and collect my mail and only deliver it on days when I don’t have my trashcan out I live alone with my dog and I probably put my trash out every other week we don’t have that much trash. Also I think that might be against the law also the letter I got in the mail was from the federal government AND IT WAS OPEN TODAY. Also You cannot get on the phone with these people whatsoever they will make you wait forever and then you get a dead signal. Even worse in person when you go up there! Also don’t even bother using the mailboxes there I tried to ship out some stuff I sold about three months ago and had to take the loss of about $25 because apparently the converse post office somehow lost it in the mailbox in the drive-through.

This location never answers the phone! I scheduled a package pick up, no one ever came, yet I received a confirmation email that the pickup was complete. Um, how, when the package is sitting on my doorstep?? Then about a week and half ago my husband dropped off a package for me, and to date it has never even been scanned in. At this point I’m just assuming it was lost or stolen :( It was my mistake for not reminding him to stay for a receipt and not to just drop and go, but honestly we shouldn’t feel like we can’t trust the post office with our packages in the first place. This package was a return of a $120 item and although that’s not a huge amount of money, it’s still incredibly irritating. ’ve been to this post office 3 times, and each time I’m reminded why I just stick to the one in Universal City on Pat Booker.

Had a Delivery sent to "parcel box" that was never delivered. The BS investigation they did said it was delivered later than when I looked. Still not there. Get me my delivery or I'm calling the cops. Clearly driver stole it. Figure it out or I'll do it for you.

The postman did not want to get out of the postal truck to put my package on the front porch. So the postman said he had no access. That is not true, he was running late 4:33pm and didnt want to stop his deliveries. Please deliver my package and leave it on the porch.

3 weeks ago we reported to our mailman that our lock was broken, he said we will bring you a new key and your mail and we will replace the old lock. Well 3 weeks later no mail, no key, no new lock. I have spoken with several mail carriers that have been filling his spot over the last 3 weeks with no answer. Went to the post offices to speak to a supervisor, she was there they told me to come back. I left him a note with no response. No one will help I just want my mailbox fix, so I can get my mail.

This postal service sucks. Unable to get package out of mailbox. Called to make a complaint took two days to get a call back from 800 number. Went in person yesterday and was told to check again tomorrow after husband left note for postal worker. Today I find a note that mailbox is not broke, they are just new and not broken in yet. So again today #3, my package is stuck in a box that I cannot open, and no one answers the phone at post office. If you know the keys don’t work, why couldn’t my package be brought to my house, or returned to the post office so I can pick it up. Neither the post office or my mail box is walking distance to my house. This is ridiculous.

Waiting for a very important package in converse. Tracking shows it has been delivered, but nothing at door or mailbox bank. There was a young woman who I have never seen before delivering mail today. It is possible it was placed in a different box or one of the larger package boxes which I don’t have access to. This is a small item, yet a great deal of sentimental value and can not be replaced.

Absolutely horrible. They are complete disorganized and don't take responsibility for their mistakes. They push off the work they need to do to meet the needs of their customers and fulfill their promises. The past master doesn't have a handle on his staff and refuses to do anything about how horrible his branch is. Even worse than the Schertz branch. Horrible, horrible people.

Paid for priority mail. I understand that it is 3-4 days. Package never arrived, even though I was assure by main post office that it would be delivered by 08:00 PM. I received text stating that it was delivered at 11:18 AM. My cameras show nobody arriving at that time, and my adult daughter verified right away at that time that nothing was delivered. I would greatly appreciate a response with a solution. I need that package urgently. Thanks.

For the past several months, we have 1/2 the mail we normally do. We rarely ever have a day that we do not have mail, but that has not been the case for the last few months!!! I also have been waiting on a few packages that were sent, but I never received them. On nextdoornorthampton, all my neighbors are complaining about the same thing!!!

Three times this year so far I have a box in my mailbox that I cannot get out. Do they not train employees that the boxes fit in the back but are unable to be pulled out the front? I have to leave a note on the back of the mail box that I cannot get my box out.

I have been waiting on a package ( my daughter's medication ). It is a package I have to sign for that should have arrived around a week ago. The last 2 times I've ordered her medicine I was never notified that it was waiting at the post office. I went up there 2 times on each occasion but was told they had nothing for me. Then a month later ( both times ) I get a slip saying final notice to pick up package or it will be returned to sender. When I picked it up they said it had been there for a month. NOBODY EVER answers when you call. They are always misdelivering my mail as well. Meanwhile my daughter is out of important medication. Service.....

They will not answer their phone? I've called starting from the time they open until they close off and on and nothing. Drove down there and there were five ladies at the front counter, but no one could answer the phone. I think they turn the ringers off. Of course, their number worked when they needed to call me to tell my box should be ready by last Thursday. It's not Wednesday of the following week. I am the first to move into a brand new subdivision and two weeks later I am still waiting for the mailboxes to be done by the post office. Told they have to come out and number the boxes, and put in a work order for the locks. Since they will not answer their phone, I'm forced to drive down to their location after work to ask about the status of my mail box only to be told yesterday, "this is Richard's route." Not sure what that has to do with my box. Didn't know mailer carriers installed locks on boxes and then told she did not know the status, and I'll know they are finished when I come there and they have keys to give me. Ridiculous!!!!

I am a converse resident and I totally agree with this person. No one seems to answer the phone at this post office and there is no way to leave a message. Also, our community mailbox has been broken into during the past three weeks.

Horrible delivery service - some times 6 hours late - personal mail stolen - a call by phone - you are placed on hold - can take an hour to to have the call answered - or it just rings busy! - This is where your tax dollar is going folks!
