Since I moved to Howell in late 2005, I've had reoccurring issues with delivery service. On multiple occasions, I hadn't received either correspondence or checks or they would be delivered to the wrong address. Most recently, 2/13/23, a product that I had ordered online was delivered to the wrong address 8 miles away. Worst yet, the homeowner signed for the package that was clearly identified with my name, and a different address. It is beyond me, how the post office can screw something up, as to deliver a package to the wrong address when it is clearly identified. The epitome of incompetence and a loss to me of $350.00. It is out of character for me to write a bad review about anything, but this is infuriating. I will go as far to say that I believe it was a willful act on behalf of somebody at the post office.

The Howell Post Office is terrible! For over 20 years, we have had nothing but trouble getting our mail delivered. I have talked to the various Postmasters over the years and they always tell me they will address it with our carriers. The problem continues. I visited a neighbor this summer and they were glad to see me because they had some of our mail. It was not just a few pieces, it was a stack of mail about 3 inches high! I now have the USPO app that allows me to track my mail. Today, I was expecting a delivery. App says it was delivered to the mail box, no package! I just do not know what to do. I have wrote to USPO main office in Washington DC, no response. Very frustrating! Wonder why the USPO is in trouble, the inability to provide their basic service is the reason.

Very disappointed. Left a small box, clearly labeled, with a proper purchased priority mail label, in my mailbox with the flag up. The postal person delivered the mail, put it right beside the box. Didn't take the box and left the flag up! What kind of service is that?

They tried to deliver my package 3 days ago. They rang the doorbell and DID NOT wait for me to come to the door. I immediately ran to the door and they were gone. That is how poorly they did their job. They left without leaving a notice or anything. I went online to see where the package is and it has not been returned to the post office..? I tried calling and the phone rings endlessly!!! AWFUL service. I am absolutely irrate. How am I supposed to get my package???

I received confirmation that my priority mail envelope was delivered pm 10/3/2020 in Howell, MI. I assumed that this was delivered to my address (on the envelope). It was not. I drove to the post office to inquire and told that it was delivered. I further tried to speak to a supervisor, but he was in a meeting. Finally, I asked them to confirm which address the envelope was delivered to. They said the ping was at an address (not mine) that was on my street, but no such number exists. The missing envelope contained my green card from Immigration. Immigration will not resend unless I can prove that it was lost in the mail. Ugh. I would have to reapply and pay the $415 again if it did not turn up. I had to drive to several houses in the area where the carrier apparently misdelivered my envelope. Luckily I was able to find it at an address way off from mine. It was 4740 and I am at 4570. They were not helpful at all. Very disappointed.

I mailed packages media mail on April 21st. It is now May 11th and my students have still not received their packages. I called the post office and they told me that priority mail takes 7-14 days to deliver and media will take longer. I understand that the post office has been swamped, but the process doesn't seem efficient. I was mailing to Flint from Howell and the packages went to Lansing first. I realize you have a process, but shouldn't efficiency take a precedence in this crazy time. I am very disappointed and next set of book I will deliver myself. I paid $67.00 to get books into the hands of my students and they still don't have them. Disappointing!!! :-(

Dont try to call, they wont answer. Mail is always late and deliveries are frequently delayed for days due to "our mailbox not being accessible" when I live on latson road.

Don’t bother calling this PO...they won’t answer. Our route driver drives at a horribly FAST speed through our subdivision....we hope he doesn’t hurt anyone. Apparently, ....safety is NOT a priority.
