I live on prairie court in Brighton, MI 48116. Today was the third time I had to help a mail truck get out of the snow. They need better tires. I also wanted to make sure the mail lady that got stuck on Teahan Rd today didn’t get in trouble. There was NO WAY she was going to make it up the hill and she and two of us helping her almost got hit by another car. We told her that she needed to turn around.

I have the same complaint as Rpugs below. Is this your new policy; if it doesn’t fit in the mailbox, just leave it on the ground next to the road? As the years go by, the service of this post office declines exponentially. I have tried to look up the contact for the post master but it seems to be hidden. Please give me the contact information of the postmaster.

I’ve called my location (Brighton, MI) about this before, however, things never change. Nothing is more annoying when a package doesn't fit properly in my mailbox so the postman leaves it hanging out with the door to my mailbox open. I live on a busy street and anyone can grab my package while driving by. Today it was an expensive item and I was again frustrated. Some postal carriers are just too lazy to walk to my porch which is only about 20 steps away.

I had understood that the Hunger Drive in Brighton was this Saturday. The USPS driver put the mail in mailbox but did not pick up the donation. The weather was sunny and 80*. You could clearly see the bag on the ground in front of mailbox. It was too big to fit into the mailbox. Very disappointing, later in afternoon we experienced the torrential rainfall. Everything with cardboard packaging was ruined.

Fwhst is going on with mail ? I mailed a card over a week ago from Farmington to Brighton snd it’s not there yet .I am talking about US mail!

A $12k check mailed to me on 1/11/21. Postmarked 1/12/21 in Novi. Received on 2/1/21 in Brighton. 18 days to go 18 miles. Last month a $65k check mailed on 12/4/20 (Bay City) was received on 1/6/21(Brighton). 78 miles in 25 days. Ponies can go faster than that.. This is typical lately. USPS needs to be taken over by Fedex or UPS and/or find leadership within that can turn this sinking ship around. UNACCEPTABLE!

I would like to thank Debby for helping me locate a package. She was professional and courteous. During this crazy time, I have had no problem with my USPS service in Brighton. Thank you.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Someone needs to get fired! I now have to haggle my bank for a late credit card fee because these morons can't do a simple job of sending mail on time. Christmas cards sent from Livonia takes THREE WEEKS to arrive. Not a 2020 thing: A few years back, it took A MONTH to send a bill from Brighton to Atlanta, GA! William Tecumseh Sherman didn't take that long to get to the ATL! RIDICULOUS!

Why are you holding my mail sense the 23 and no one told me why??.

The USPS can't even answer their phone in the Brighton Office...they just hang up over and over again. Nor can they deliver anything as per their own schedule. I have packages that per the tracking info say they won't be here for several days, yet here they are AND I am awaiting shipments stuck between "Received" and "Accepted" for days on end. How can they "receive" a package from UPS which they have not "accepted"...do they now have their own dictionary? Does logic no longer apply? Our low IQ Governor is expecting this organization to handle ALL of our votes...there goes our voting rights! NEVER VOTE DNC GAIN!

postal drivers that deliver the mail, can not deliver mail for days and get away with it. Also, lie about the condition for the roads and driveways without getting asked any question. When you tell the supervisor this they actually think your not telling the truth and their drivers wouldn't lie about these matters. So I I guess I'm not telling truth. Today, 2/7/20, Amazon notified me that 2 packages were delivered. I drove down to mail box and found the packages sitting in snow next to mailbox. Nice work USPS. My packages are soggy and one of the packages held teabags in it.

Yesterday I was supposed receive a package 111535645004201 and there was in facet a note on the door to ring door bell as I cant set around all day waiting for them to show up. I am very disgusted and would appreciate speaking to higher management. Debra Lynn Gregory 810-588-0370

Put our mail on hold for 2 weeks. They stopped delivering our mail the day before the hold was requested and when we returned yesterday they failed to deliver the mail they held. I have 2 confirmation emails confirming these dates. Have called the Brighton PO 3 times today and each time my call gets hung up. What is going on?

This is the worst managed post office . They don't deliver when it snows , they don't deliver when its cold . When they do deliver its the wrong mail. We get are mail @ 8:00 @ night. They need to privatize the mail system. If you call them they think everything is running smooth. They don't have a clue what logistics mean.

I sent out my son's Bar Mitzvah invitations on January 2nd from your location. They never made it to all 45 guests. I have lost the cost of invitations and postage. They are on square blue envelopes and I had them weighed prior to ensure that I bought correct postage.

Our mail person continues to be deliver our mail later and later. November 5th it was delivered at 7:10 PM This trend has been going on for at least a year. Our previous mail person delivered no later that 4:00PM for many years. I do not know if the problem is the result of the current mail person or if it a systemic problem of the Brighton Post Office.

The worst. They put my mail in another persons mailbox with the same address on a different street. and vice versa. Cant tell you how many times I have notified them of the problem. Have had important items never delivered due to the above. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS????

This has to be the worst postal office in michigan. The illegal activity done by this office should be investigated. No deliveries. Deliveries after 5 pm. False claims of attempt deliveries, so they don't have to deliver on Sundays. This is fraud. I'm going to contact our congressman.

You cannot get anyone to answer a question for you. They lost my tax information from my employee as well as my pension. These items were never sent to me by Brighton Post Office. This has been confirmed by sender. I am disturbed to find out several tax forms are lost in the mail.

I have tried several times to call the post office, but it rings and rings and then hangs up on me. We are not receiving our mail on a regular basis at 9864. E Grand River Ave. A letter that was very important that was postmarked in Illinois on Jan. 16 was not delivered until this morning, Jan. 26. We seem to receive mail about once a week in a large bundle. Clearly, there seems to be a problem that needs to be addressed with our carrier.

Nothings changed in 2 months. Same thing tracking said package was delivered looked for 2 days, nothing. No help with the post office. Went over to my neighbor, luckily he was not home and found it on his porch. He will probably say his security system shows me stealing. This was supposed to be delivered UPS, but they sent USPS. Same thing - I don't trust them for anything but junk mail and even that comes late. Also noticed a truck delivering on Sundays - so we pay overtime for this?

Post office tracking stated package delivered sat 12/10 524 pand I was home and never saw a mail truck or knock at door. Checked porch when I got email just before 6 pm and no package or any mail at all! Got regular mail for the first time 4 days later and still no package. Only thing post office is good for is junk mail. Anything important use Fedx or ups. On hold for one hour now can't get through. Sent email/ complaint sat and 4 days later still no response.

UPS is showing a package was successfully delivered on the 27th at 4:00. It's the 2nd and I have not seen the package. I have called three times now and every time they tell me they have to check with the carrier and get back to me. Nobody has gotten back to me!

It's the worst if you are on these idiots' mail route. A birth certificate was sent down the street and we regularly have to return our neighbors mail.
