The Kennebunk post office is the worst po I have ever dealt with you call to inplain they hand up. Once you complain the driver does everything he can do to not deliver your mail He throws the boxes onto the driveway to avoid delivering to the door as he does for everyone on the street. He throws mail enevelops and packages the ground instead of putting them in the box. Avoid using any postal services from the Kennebunk po

Package from Amazon delivered between 630 last night and this afternoon, not to our sheltered front porch, but directly under a sign on our garage that says "Please do not leave packages here; please leave them on the porch at the front door". As a result, the boxes inside the package were soaking wet and the gifts inside them wet as well. Guess I wasn't clear enough about asking them to leave packages at the front door? Been trying to call and I wait on terminal hold x5 minutes, then get automatically disconnected...

At 7:22 p.m. no one had picked up my outgoing mail and none was delivered. This is not the first time this has happened nor has it always correlated with a busy season like Christmas. This is unacceptable! What is going on? I guess if I have to mail a letter I'll have to take it to the post office myself and pray that it will be sent out. Can't count on anything any more.

I’ve been calling for 45 minutes. The phone has not been answered. Why list a number to call?

The man who worked July 19th 2021 opened my package I was dropping off that I handed him without my permission. It was labeled and ready to ship. Absolutely uncalled for.

Attempted delivery at 7:55pm, but could not access the premises. Really? Liar. It’s June and both porches are wide open. Both doors are accessible. This is why the USPS is in financial trouble. The blind are leading the unwilling to do their jobs. Package was supposed to be delivered two days ago. They will try again today. Are you idiots not aware that most of us are still working from home and know exactly when you have passed or not. Or are all of you just lazy former veterans? As a USMC veteran myself, I hope you all have better morals than what appears to be the case. Additionally, you should remember the oath you took as a a service member and a federal employee. Oaths, once taken, are not dissolved by circumstance. You should all be ashamed of your performance. One federal employee to another - get your **** together because you make us all look bad.

The postal workers at the facility are extremely professional and helpful. The postal delivery not so much. They don't take boxes or packages or they tell you they will come back later to pick them up and do not. Our office sends medical information to patients around the country we need to make sure the materials get picked up and taken to be processed the day they are set out to post. This is frustrating to say the least.

This is the second time I have not received a package because the postal worker said the driveway was blocked. There were trash cans at the end of the driveway on either side. I know it wasn't blocked because my neighbor and myself left and came back and we both drive SUVs. I am still waiting for my package. No response today. I tried to call the post office and it rang for about three minutes then someone picked up the phone and hung up. This is ridiculous and is why the post office struggles. Maybe if you improved customer service, people would use it more!

I have been having issues with my Amazon packages. In one case a package was delivered to someone in the development next door that was kind enough to bring the package to me. On another occasion a package that was too large to fit in my mailbox was put in my next door neighbors mailbox which is larger. This week I had two packages crammed into my mailbox and I had quite a time getting one out without destroying the box and my wife fought with the other one and finally got it out. I’m concerned that Amazon has made this change because for two of the above mentioned packages I received the notice that they had been delivered and I couldn’t find them and in the other two, the contents where not damaged but certainly could have. Is it standard protocol to deliver a package to the physical address if the package won’t fit in the mailbox?

The following took place at 10am on October 5. I had a parcel to mail and was greeted by a tall youngish gentleman who told me it would cost $13+ for two day or $12+ for 5 day. I opted for two day When I started to use my credit card I noticed that the total was $45. There was no explanation at this point. After I questioned this he said because of the light weight of the box I would have to pay for the size (approx 14 x 24). I said,"Do you think UPS would be any different?" followed by "I'm not a UPS employee." At this point I asked him if he was happy because he had been very unpleasant. He said "I'm always happy" and I replied "Why don't you smile?" He then said "Smiling won't change the cost of the parcel." I retrieved my parcel and left with a very bad feeling about the entire transaction.

On 9/25/19, on or about 130 PM, I walked up to a window attended by Paul. I passed my Manila envelope to him and he waved his hand to the machine to read. As I am only 4’10, I said I count not see to read and jokingly said I was being discriminated. Paul shoved my envelope back at me, put his closed window sign down with a bang and walked off. As I was leaving Shaun said something ( that I could not make out) was probably not very flattering. Is this the training these rude employees receive? I think I deserve an apology for this rude behavior. Does he represent the attitude of all the employees in this Post Office?

January 12 2018 @ 5:15 same issue and this is the second time on a weekend night going into a holiday Monday that I don't get my packages stating "receptacle blocked". I passed the carrier at out group mail box as we live on a private drive with several houses and it was being filled. Reality is carrier just don't want to drive a few extra feet late on a Friday to deliver the packages . Too easy for these guys to just not do their jobs.

I have had the same issue. I have not had mail for 15 days and no notification, no nothing. I called the PO and was treated rudely. The guy became frustrated with me describing the "Snow Hold" and transferred me to his supervisor who started out treating me like an idiot. I assured him I was not and still had difficulty getting simple answers to my simple questions. Make sure you're not on a Snow Hold - you have 10 days to go to the PO and get your mail before they send it all back. I really wish I did not have to use this post office.

It's a shame that the Postal Office allows their carriers to speed through neighborhoods and create huge divots in driveways as a result from aggressive breaking and acceleration. Public Works just re-sanded our street's shoulder and it already has huge ruts from the aggressive driving.

As a business, sometimes I cannot drop Everything to sign for Certified Mail Deliveries. If I ask "can you please hold on just a second" and it turns out to be 2-3 seconds, She better not give me an attitude and state "I am tired of having to wait on you, from now on I will leave a card in your box and You can come get it at Your conveneince"! It was unacceptable to be told that, but even more unacceptable when it happened 5 days later, and she followed through by never coming down to the business and just left a "we missed you" note in the box at the street!

If the postal carrier drives through my neighborhood as fast as she did today, I will call the police not the post office. Mere Ln, Hearthstone, River Bend and Tideview Terrace. It is absolutely ridiculous, faster then any teenagers in the neighborhood.
