Postal Locations

I moved from La Quinta, CA to Nipomo, CA. My mail was to be held 6/1 to 6/10 and then forwarded to our new home in Nipomo on 6/11. As of today (7/5) I have received 5 pieces of mail all in the same Priority envelope - I called the Post Office and talked to the Postmaster and was told that I just do not get much mail, & they only forward first class mail (3 of the 5 was junk mail). I guess my Coachella Water bill, Capitol One, Citi Card, etc do not fall into the first class mail as I have not received any of these. I have called the Post Office 4 times for help and nothing, they tell me it is being forwarded but is being returned to them - because of a bar code issue, I have nothing to do with bar codes I just want my mail. I'm at my wits end and do not know where to turn for help. What should I do?

I went to pick up my mail (44255 Villeta Drive) and a key to 2P was in my mail box. When I tried to use the key it would not open 2P because the key is bent. Please help us.

The La Quinta mail carriers are so lazy. They can't seem to get off their asses to put mail in the mailbox when a car is parked near the mailbox. Not in front of the mailbox but NEAR. Pull up and reverse your vehicle. Its not that hard. You can get out to deliver a package to the front door but you can't put mail in the mailbox while you're at it. Idiots.

No mail delivery on Monday, June 21, 2021. This is the third time of no-delivery in the past four months. In over 50 years these are the only instances of no-delivery ever. Can we get better service? Soon, our carrier Ruthie will be retiring and we neighbors are very concerned with our future needs. Many of us get meds by USPS. Help

We are in the middle of a pandemic and one of the postal workers was wearing a mouth shield that does not prevent the spread of the virus in any way. She was walking around five of us standing in line, I do not understand how this happened.

Hello, I paid to have an urgent package delivered from Olympia, WA on Saturday, February 13 to La Quinta arriving at 3 pm on Tuesday, February 16. Tracking says it has not arrived. I need to know where the package is because the person who needed the package may not be at the delivery address anymore. Can the package be set back to me if necessary?

IT IS 7 PM, SOMETIMES MAIL COMES NEAR 8 PM. CAN THE ROUTE BE CHANGED TO GIVE US A BREAK? AND ON WED SOMETIMES WE GET NO MAIL SERVICE. I LOVE OUR MAIL CARRIER BUT THE MAIL STILL COMES LATE! Worried because I received TWO letters addressed to same number but different street. One appears to be a Credit Card. I'm quite concerned that MY mail might be going to others!! I wrote : PUT IN WRONG BOX on both of them and am putting them back into our Cul De Sac mail box unit. I realize everyone is stressed, but please ask our mail person to be more mindful...it was probably a substitute since ours is very good and has been for years.

Package notification I received advises package has been delivered to "mailbox locker" (group mailbox community), however no key was left advising what locker it was delivered to giving me access. Really?? No one answers phone, call cannot be transferred. I'm starting to understand why certain lockers are pried open, I thought it was vandals but I'm guessing people experiencing same issue as me.

This is one of the worst facilities and representations of the Postal Service. This morning I had a package notification. They were open for business and I was the only one in the building. The woman behind the counter told me I had to wait until 9 to get the package because that is the rule? What rule- I am there, why can't she get it? It would take her only a moment to walk back and get it. Numerous instances like this over the years at this facility. Lazy, un-engaged employees and management. Close the Postal Service!!! Private enterprise will do better, cheaper and more efficiently.

I have received an email from the County of Riverside that my ballot was mailed 9/28. I am still waiting to receive my ballot so that I can vote. It is now 10/7 - where is it? I live in Sun City Shadow Hills.

I have twice been notified by my USPS on line app that a letter I have been expecting has been delivered yet there is nothing in my mail box. We regularly get other peoples mail. The letter I'm expecting is important since it has to do with my health coverage. Twice in as many weeks the same letter from the same individual is lost. What gives????

Why do your drivers not even attempt to knock at our door with an OPEN gate? They keep leaving notes in our mailbox that we didn't answer or that the gate was closed but I witnessed your driver drive right pass my house. Also cannot get a hold of anyone when I call.

This is the only post office I’ve ever known to not answer their phone or a number cannot be transferred. They’re continuously losing my packages or not delivering them. This post office needs inspectors in there to find out why this post office is so horrible. I’ve put in numerous complaints with USPS on line about packages not delivered. I’ll go days w/o receiving mail only junk mail. I’m beyond frustrated with this post office!

Outside drop off mail boxes are overflowing at 2 PM

LaQuinta post office will not answer phone. I need help with a package and cannot get anywhere. No wonder the Postal Service is in financial trouble - no customer service means no customers!!

Employees had no sense of urgency in doing their jobs quickly to make the large line go down faster. I’ve worked for Usps for 2 years in Okinawa japan and never showed that lack of enthusiasm in my work. I am disgusted by the customer service. I had a 3849 and the pick up window opened for someone so I left the line. The employee was only hooking up someone they knew this shows a lack of professionalism. Thanks US Post office for waisting my time.

When I go into this post office, so far I haven’t had any issues but I have been having some issues regarding my mail from home. My mail lady holds onto my mail for about a week. This is the second week now and she hasn’t delivered my mail for 3 days. So I have been calling the this post office to find out what’s going on since yesterday and no one answers the phone 😡. I tried the 1-800 number and there is no option to speak with a customer service representative. They put me on hold for about an hour 😤😡 someone needs to do something about this (post office)

My 8 footlockers are missing. They were sent via Okinawa to Indio, Cal. Ernest Howard had possession of them when I spoke to him over the telephone. He said he would "Hold" them till my husband could pick them up. Its now March 8 (six months later) and they are now missing in action. Ms Janet.l.Mixon, the postmistress also promised to follow up as we have tracking numbers. She never answers the telephone or returns my emails. I am now deployed to GTMO. This post office is a mess. I had to file a report with Congressman Raul Ruiz.
