I have been sending packages to my son for a year now, not one of them has been delivered. Different excuse every time and he has to go to po multiple times in order to finally retrieve them. Office won't answer phone, so I guess the post master is my next stop. Funny how they want postage paid up front, yet don't deliver....isn't that called fraud?
I recently left a review concerning an undelivered package. I want to say that the post master at Chugiak and Jackie at Anchorage, not only addressed my issue, but went above and beyond to resolve it. Thank you!

I must be very lucky. This has been our post office for 13 years and the staff has always been very pleasant with me. We have never had a rude employee. I can tell they are occasionally stressed, but with the volume of people and some impatient customers, I understand. With a heartfelt thank you - I get a nice smile in return.
I try to hard to kill them with kindness because they all seem to have so much anger inside of them. That who I am... but wow, so unkind, no smiles, next to no help at all. It always feels like you’re interrupting their lunch break when you step up to the counter.
There are yellow signs all over the place stating how we need to address packages to get to our PO Box if we are not on the route... it doesn’t matter if you do this, they still fail to put packages in your box and they absolutely refuse to look up the information in their computer. I’m aware of this because I was told that they will no longer cross reference your physical address to PO Box, which is easily done in their computer. Even though we are having our packages addressed with both addresses, they’re CONSTANTLY being sent back, therefore being delayed weeks at a time.
All the customer-facing employees at this location are rude as hell. I dread ever having to go to the front counter for any kind of customer service assistance, and try to avoid it at all costs.
Today I was in to ask 2 questions. One about the cost of added insurance to a flat rate package and one about an undelivered letter. The clerk answered my first as the line grew behind me. She went to check on the letter. In the meantime the other clerk called her back up front and essentially ended her helping me. No answer to my question, no instructions on how to proceed. Thanks so much.
