This post office has the rudest and laziest staff I have ever encountered. They clearly hate their job and do not want to be there. I had a scheduled appointment online, when I got there, and I told them I needed a carry out , ALL of them complained and tried passing it on to someone else. The lady that got my file claimed I was missing all of these items and wasn’t going to process my passport. This is after waiting a month to get an appointment. She clearly simply didn’t want to do it. Told me that walkins are at a certain time and I could come then. I literally made sure I had EVERYTHING I needed. Woke up early and loaded my 19 month old and 4 month old after waking up at 4 in the morning to make sure I got there in plenty of time for them to process. I get to the front, and tell her, I’m carry out, I have everything I need… she rudely interrupts me and says we are not doing carry outs!!! They are too time consuming… I told her, ma’am.. this is what you told me to do! She’s like no, you need to schedule an appointment. To be honest, I think she really didn’t want to work a little harder. Carry out and third party expediting was too much for her little brain to handle and she just flat out didn’t want to do it. There is simply nothing I could do. I hope no one treats her the way she treated me, she probably wouldn’t be as nice as I was. I decided her little self wasn’t worth me continuing to waste my time. I will make a few calls and go somewhere else where people aren’t jerks. I do not recommend this post office to anyone! They literally are extremely lazy. They think they have a little of control. Well ma’am… I will get my passport eventually and you will continue living your miserable life. Because as long as you continue to be rude, that’s what you will sow. Whoever is in charge of hiring, really needs to dig into the character of these people. They are terrible human beings and should not be In costumer service. Just look at all the reviews… every single one of them is negative. Tells you something. I don’t usually waste my time with leaving reviews. But this staff is the worst I’ve come across. The men were nicer than the women… but she was so loud and adamant. Even though the man offered to help me, she was yelling after SHE was the one that directed me to come as a walk in. Never again will I waste my time on those kinds of people.

I'm sitting here at 7:45PM 09/19/2020 no Mail has been delivered to anyone on this street. I'm writing this with a heavy heart - I'm a retired Rural Carrier of 22 years at Pinehurst, Texas. I know we are talking about apples and oranges because Pinehurst only had 3 routes in my 22 years there but you know as well as I do that mail is to delivered every day Monday thru Saturday come rain or shine you are to deliver your routes. We are on Route 51 and she must be the worse carrier I have ever seen. She delivers the mail on Alice Road stopping at each box jumps out of her car doesn't look and crosses in front of her car and puts the mail in the box on the left side hopes in her car doesn't look to see if anyone is going around here on to the next box. She is wrong wrong and I have told her she gets hit she can kiss any help from the P.O. when they find out she is no delivering sitting on the right side of her vehicle. It does no good she doesn't care. She misdelivers and if she was delivering the right way people behind me wouldn't have to wait two days for misdelivered mail. My neighbor has a box in her mailbox today that was misdelivered two days now that hasn't been picked and redelivered. Come on now I understand all the problems DeSoto is causing the P.O. but I deserve to have my mail delivered every day come rain or shine. I understand route 51 is a 42K and she works everyday without a jeep she knew that when she took the route come on now management she is a disgrace to the Rural Carrier Assoc. Route 51 did not receive mail today 9/19/2020

We have an extremely great mail lady, however she must be on vacation or something as the past 2 days the mail person who is taking her place, has pulled in our driveway circled and drove out. This is a business we have mail delivered everyday, even if it is junk mail. Please STOP and give us our mail. We have a large mail slot, you don't even have to walk in.

We have lived in sweet mint in the woodlands for about 1 year and have had multiple issues with this post office. Things like saying our driveway is blocked and he cannot deliver our package because he needs to pull into our driveway WTH???! Saying the community mailbox box is blocked and he cannot deliver mail. Not receiving mail or packages at all and having to reorder from Amazon. Neighbors bringing us our mail because it was in the wrong box. Driving too fast and backing into driveway to fast (WTH do they pull into the driveway anyway, no one else does). I drove to the post office to get a 5lb package and our mailman flat out lied and said he had to have access to the driveway to deliver it. I could go on....its maddening that they get paid even though they don’t do their job...I would be fired if didn’t do mine. Mike

My wife and I receive daily USPS e-mail notifications and pictures of mail that is to be delivered that day or the next. The mail that is scheduled for delivery has not been delivered over the past three days and this continues to be an all too common experience. Checks and recurring bills are not being received and we have moved as much mail as possible to our Hockley post office box to avoid the Tomball post office and its severe reliability issues (some days, there is no mail delivery).

My Veteran Disability check went missing this week. After receiving an e-mail on Thursday (4/4/19) with a photo of it scanned to be included in that days mail. Didn't show up that day or Friday. I'll be seeing the Post Master Monday, filing a police report, and requesting the names of the postal service employee charged with handling my neighborhoods mail. This is a too common of a problem and enough is enough.

Dear Postal Carrier Supervisor. I am not sure how to get your attention so I thought I would make the attempt via this online review. Consider this "review" as a formal complaint. I moved into the Landmark Grand Champion Apts on 11201 Boudreaux Road, Tomball, Texas 77375 the 3rd week of July and started sending my rent checks via the U.S. mail. The August rent check was mailed on 7/24 and never arrived at the apartment's main office and in fact, the check was returned to my banking service almost 30 days later. The September check arrived, however the October 1st check has still not arrived and it was mailed on September 24th. When I contacted the apartment landlord they have repeatedly told me that it is a common and a irritating problem for tenants and others to send mail and parcels via the U.S. mail and the letters and parcels do not show up. They reported to me that they have contacted the post office supervisor repeatedly by email and by phone but nothing has changed. They reported that there is always a different postal carrier and they seem to keep messing up the deliveries. I simply do not understand why I, and apparently so many others are having issues with sending rent checks to the main apartment office. It should be pretty easy for a carrier to identify the location of the main office. It is the big building at the main and only gate to the property. It would be pretty hard to miss and when the check or letter clearly has the typed address on the envelope, anyone that is even remotely concerned with doing a decent job should be able to deliver the mail to the inside office of the apartment complex. Please correct this situation. Losing mail or at least not delivering it is not an isolated problem.

The Tomball mailman who delivers to the Vintage Creek subdivision drove down out street today (20mph zone) doing about 35 mph. He passed a resident who was about to turn in to his driveway on the left side of the street. This was his second delivery to our mailboxes, because I had just picked up my mail and set in my driveway and watched him. I drove back down to the boxes and he had them all open again. Then he got in his truck and sped up our street for the second time doing between 35 and 40 mph. Please fire this employee before he kills a child in our neighborhood.

This is a formal complaint. I would have called the 1-800 number, but the last time I wanted to speak with someone, I was on hold for 32 minutes then someone disconnected the call. So, here is my concern: For the longest time, I have been the secondary postal delivery person in my neighborhood. I get several of my neighbor's pieces of mail, (including one neighbor's IRS refund check), even though the address is plainly and easily read on the envelope. I also get mail for people who do not even live on our street. THIS HAS TO STOP. HIRE PEOPLE WHO CAN READ AND PROCESS THE INFORMATION. I am disabled and it is difficult enough for me to go to the mailbox and then get mail that is not mine and I have to take it back to the community box or call the appropriate neighbor. This is a big problem and someone needs to get a handle on it.

Recently: 1) I've had to cancel a credit card account, because a replacement card sent by the credit card company was never delivered to my box; 2) I've had to cancel a bank account because replacement checks were never delivered to my box; 3) a Christmas gift that I paid extra for to receive before Christmas did not arrive on time, then was delivered to a neighbor's box, instead of my box. Yesterday, I called the Tomball Post Office to advise them that I received two packages that were addressed to a neighbor. They assured me the mail carrier would come to my house and collect them, yesterday. Of course, they did not. I've not experienced anywhere near the same level of problems with private carriers, such as UPS and FedEx. The US Postal Service is an independent branch of the Federal Government. Therein lies the problem. Members of the Federal Government do not believe they must compete. As such, they and their employees are not held accountable. This promotes incompetence, if not negligence, if not gross negligence. In my opinion, the Tomball Post Office is the poster child for incompetence, negligence, and an accurate reflection of what our Federal Government has become. I'm sick of it! One of the reasons the ruling elite that make up our federal government are so incompetent, is that we (their subjects) tolerate it. It will take enough of us to take action if we want them to realize they actually work for us Please take action. The U.S. postmaster general is the chief executive of the U.S. Postal Service. I am completely at a loss - The Tomball Postal Service is atrocious and should be completely reorganized from the bottom up. Over the last 3 months I have had 4 checks, 1 bill, 1 business letter and at least 1 invitation (these are the items that I know for sure) that have not arrived to my mail box. None of these was returned to sender and I have proof that they were sent. Two of these were Octber and November Paychecks - So I had my December check sent via Certified Mail - because I can track it's whereabouts. I was at home all day waiting for my check on Monday when the check was supposed to arrive, but nobody came to the door and all I got was a slip in my mailbox stating that nobody was home when they attempted to deliver the certified mail. Then at 6:33 PM I got an email stating that the carrier had tried but couldn't deliver the certified letter and that I would have to reschedule - which I did. Yesterday my regular carrier was out sick so a replacement delivered the mail, but did not have my certified letter. I went to the Post Office to check there but they didn't have it either. I tracked the letter on the website but it states that the letter is out for delivery as of Monday. Today I went to the Post Office and once again they do not know where the letter is. As it turns out my regular carrier (the only person that potentially knows where my check is) is out sick again today. My mail came again today but once again there was not a certified letter for me today either. The Tomball Post Office is so unorganized that I have to have my checks sent CERTIFIED MAIL AND THEY STILL CAN'T FIND MY LETTER AND IT'S BEEN THREE DAYS!! This is UNACCEPTABLE. I would try to call and see if they found the letter but they will not answer the phone at this Post Office.

Whomever is delivering my mail must be smoking something that is making them goofy or stupid. I hate to be rude, but I am sick of not getting my mail delivered properly. This has been going on for way over 6 months. Today I received 11 pieces of mail that was supposed to be delivered to Johnston Utilities that is on Olin Street - I live on Calvert. I have tried calling the Tomball, Tx location 15x or more and I kept getting disconnected after I was transferred. Im sure that they are just picking the phone up and setting it back down. This is the 1st time I have ever complained, but if this issue isn't fixed now I can promise you it won't be my last. My neighbors have complained also......but NOTHING IS BEING DONE TO FIX THE PROBLEM! Half of the time, my mail is not delivered in a USP vehicle - its someone who drives a black car. Please respond and let me know what is going to be done to fix the problem.

Tomball Post Office is terrible. When you call the number it says that it is transferring you to the operator, however, the phone goes to a message saying that the call can not be completed. I had a package that was to be delivered yesterday, June 12th. According to the scan, it delivered to my mail box at 4:09 pm, however, I checked the mail box at 5:30 and then again at 7:00 and it still wasn't delivered. the package finally delivered sometime between 7:00 pm on June 12th and 2:30 pm on June 13th. The scan was never updated to show the correct delivery time. If you have a choice, DON'T USE THE TOMBALL OFFICE OF THE UNITED STATES POST OFFICE!!!!!!!!

New resident to the area...a month ago we were told we had to pay $40 for a key for our mailbox...still no key, and we have to go to the post office to get our mail. Now they tell us we never paid the $40 even though we have a receipt. We were told it would be 10 days, then we were told 3 weeks, then told another 10 weeks. Still nothing. The workers there at the post office are extremely rude, loud and are very lazy. I see all of these complaints but nothing is being done, what can we do to put an end to this? This is our mail they are messing with, half the time we aren't getting it. This says these complaints aren't read by the postal employees, maybe that's the problem, because I think they need to see this.

After visiting Tomball post office, this afternoon, I now know where the term "going postal" comes from. I was appalled at how GOVERMENT employees treats customers. There was literally a woman in tears over her passport renewal process. The postal worker (not to even classified as a gentleman), was abrassive, rude and obnoxious because she was on time for appt, but did not check in. She patiently waited her turn, then was informed, she missed her time and would have to reschedule. Not to mention the next available appt was a month away!! We turned around, left and went to Pinehurt, Texas post office were we were accommodated and had our passport renewed in 10 minutes. Everything works out in the end, but no thanks to the lazy, rude employees at the Tomball location. Never again.

Today my child's school pictures arrived in the mail folded IN HALF ... although the envelope had Do Not Bend in large letters on BOTH sides of the package. The cardboard was folded as well, which meant the photos would of course get bent. The postal lady didn't even take the time to "pretend" to care and had them sitting sideways in my large mailbox wrapped around my other pieces of mail! Disappointed that you can't trust the post office employee to treat your mail with respect! We get medication for our neighbors, other people's mail from other streets and packages tossed in front of our cars in the rain. (Maybe they should be taught to wrap the boxes in plastic like UPS and put under the eave of the garage or on the front porch. It's fun to have a hunt for our packages.) Very disappointed in how the mail is handled and can only wonder where the rest of my mail goes to. Maybe these comments should be read by post office employees for training purposes so they can learn to go their jobs correctly.

I ordered online before Xmas 2015 and I understand that they can be busy and can make mistakes. So when it said it was delivered, and I didn't get it, I called the Tomball Post Office and after more than 50 rings (redials) someone answered. They said they're going to investigate and gave me 7days for them to resolve. Well, that didn't happen, so I called the 800 number and it said it has been resolved. To make a long story shorter, I was told that by the main post office in Houston that they will pursue it and wondered why the update of being "resolved" is on there when it was not. A few days later, Houston main post office called us and apologized and said they couldn't track it anymore and that I should file. It made me so mad! By the way, I didn't file a claim for reimbursement -hate hassle! Tomball Post office did this to me with my packages 3times already. Another incident was a small package and labeled as delivered but didn't, so I called and the post master said the mailman is going to get back with me. In short, he said my package was in the mailbox and he could not believe I didn't see it and was upset why we called. That package was found 2days later delivered in my mailbox. So it mysteriously appeared. I also have mails that were delivered in my neighbors many times. Sometimes my neighbor would give them to me. Sometimes I just don't get them at all. This usually happen when there is a sub doing the mails. Ineffective at times and a liar, lost my package or stollen!

Did you know that if you complain to USPS and file a claim about the fact that you do not get your mail for days at a time. that the way usps will take care of it is say your house is vacant and no longer will deliver your mail... yes that is a perfect solution. Also my local office NEVER answers their phone. No matter what time of day I call. now I am on hold for an hour hold time to figure out why I am now listed as a vacant home.

Tomball Post office is the worst in history. I just moved to Tomball in April and I have had several packages come up missing as well as mail and other things. I am going to contact the news station to see if I can start an investigation. Poor customer service and horrible post master.

This is the worst post office ever I have been living in Tomball for 5 years and ordering online for as long as I can remember and every since I've moved here my packages have been missing. The postmaster has the I.Q of a squirrel and honestly I think she is the ring leader of the theft ring she always had an excuse for her lying employees. Her son Roger is a carrier at the Shepard location and she probably has taught him the ropes of theft as well this post office needs a thorough investigation. It is not fair that ppl can not order online and be confident that they will receive their packages because it will be transported in the hands of CRIMINALS

So to say that the customer service is absolutely horrible is an understatement. I had a package mailed to me and didn't receive a notice in my mail box or anything. Finally after 3 weeks of waiting I went to the post office to see if they had my package since I'm new to the Tomball area and they were holding my package which I found tore to shreds, on top of them having no explanation for it. I sincerely think there needs to be an effort to investigate this post office and not only that but someone needs to clean house and find more respectable mail service.

I live in Tomball and had a package "delivered on April 25 at 2:18 at or around the mailbox" but never received anything. I get other people's mail at least once a week. These carriers are pathetic.

Going to the Tomball post office is just as bad as visiting the DMV. TERRIBLE customer service. No one there cares how long you have to wait and that you have a life outside of the post office. God forbid if you have a package or certified letter to pick up. You'll be standing out there like you're in a government cheese line. They simply do not care and have no desire to move things along quickly. Why and how does the post office even still exist? It's an antiquated system designed in the 1700s that obviously has a hiring requirement of getting the worst personalities possible!

I strongly agree an investigation has to be conducted on this usps office. I think we might be dealing with an organization/operation to resell merchandise?? I have lost numerous packages which represent a lot of money and when you go to them they just say 'it has been delivered'....yes but to what address or to who...I constantly get mail from other people and my mail gets delivered to others as well. Really incompetent! Don't really know how to put an end to this though. Please help

Contact the US Postmaster General that is over all of the post offices and file a complaint both on line and by phone and continue to harrass them until they do something. You have to go up the chain because the people in Tomball will do nothing and I have had them call me a liar to my face when I know when the package was really delivered. They will not answer their phones, I have tried to call for 3 hours straight today and let it ring and ring, they just pick up the the phone and drop it back down. I encourage everone to go on line and file a complaint, that is the only way you get anything done. My regular mail carrier went on vacation and I did not get mail for 4 days and they tried to say, well, maybe there was no mail to get. Guess again idiots. The more people who complain up the ladder, the more likely we will get something done with the absolute horrible service at the Tomball post office.

IF my packages do not show up soon...all h*ll is going to break loose. I will be calling the local TV stations and you can bet one of them will run the story on employees of Tomball Post Office stealing packages from the people living in Tomball.

My packages were picked up on Dec. 11th from 'Mail and More' and they aren't showing up any where in the post offices system except for a label created. Have both of my packages BEEN stolen by employees of Tomball Post Office?

Just wanted to add my sentiments to the chain. I also had a package lost this week and it's not acceptable this close to Christmas. My sister lives in another part of Houston and I'm about to order a new gift for her son and have it go directly to her house so it doesn't go through the Tomball Post Office! Ridiculous! Granted, I order a lot of things and usually they are shipped to my house and this is the first item that was lost, but the fact it even happened is unacceptable.

I mailed a package of jewelry.....I sell Silpada as a side job.....and once again it has mysteriously disappeared from the Tomball location. The first time they put me through the ringer. All the things that these other people mentioned happened to me. People lying there, being rude there, hanging up on you there, and not even trying to help you to find your "LOST" package. And now it's happened again. I AM DEFINITELY going to the news stations. I tried the Post Master General last time and that got me nowhere. They lost/stole a package worth $150.00 dollars last time. This time it is a package worth $175.00 and I even had it insured. Something has to be done......and soon. They're bankrupting me! Also the ABSOLUTE WORST service ever on any given day!

This is the worst service I've ever received! First they make it impossible to get in contact with, I'm usually not the person to write reviews but this was rediculous! I had been tracking several packages I should be receiving all to the same address when the first package was not received after the website confirmed it supposedly was delivered I contacted the office to bring them up to date and not have the same thing happen with the package I was expecting that day. Initially the guy just plain hung up on me. When he finally listened to me he said he would have the carrier call me. I let him know that this was not the first situation I've had with this carrier and that she never delivers the packages to the address she lives them by the mailbox which is not a single mail box and in the middle of the road not near the address that it is supposed to be delivered to. He continued to tell me they would deliver it to the right address. Still did not receive the second package even though that one too now says delivered and have yet to receive a phone call with an explanation as to where my packages are. They need to employ someone with some sort of commen sense.

Thieves! They are rude to the point of being abusive, and they are STEALING our mail! My postal worker threatened me when I asked him to please not throw my mail on the ground in front oc the mailbox, and this gangster who said he was the supervisor tried to hit on me when I went to file a complaint. He then handed me a blank sheet of printer paper to write my complaint on, stating he would fill out the appropriate form. Are you kidding me? This is the united states government we are talking about. Ridiculous. This is why the USPS is going out of business!

The Tomball Post Office needs to be investigated. Packages are tracked to the location of this post office, yet go "missing". A complaints department should be set up, and background checks need to be run on these particular Tomball employees. I'm flat out accusing them here of stealing packages. I've NEVER had so many packages not be delivered to me than when I moved to Tomball, a year ago. One out of every five of my packages is "lost". Some quick investigating online shows dozens and dozens of other complaints claiming the same thing regarding their packages not being delivered, even though tracking numbers prove that the items are at the Tomball facilities. Something is fishy. I'm contacting the appropriate authorities, and even the local news, if something isn't fixed here.

I've just had the same problem... Tracking says they attempted a delivery on 02/14 and left a notice. There was no notice on my door or in (or on) my mailbox. Unless they were at the wrong address or they buried it in the yard somewhere, they are lying about leaving a notice.

You are beyond right. I've been in Tomball for 3 months. I have over 10 missing packages. One more missing yesterday was "delivered" at 9 am, nope. Most the time it will say this cannot be delivered as addressed. Beyond incompetent.

Same thing here. Package showed delivered to the mailbox, but no package was delivered. Called in and person seemed very confused about what happened. I asked if I should return a call in a few days and they still did not have an good answer for that simple question? Actually called a few days later and nothing but busy signals at the regular number and toll free number. No other way to contact other than driving in, waiting in line and being punished even more for a problem they caused.
