Just another day in the operation of USPS office in Southlake. Home delivery is my mail with a lot of my neighbors mixed in (including bank statements). Haven't seen my magazine subscriptions on a timely basis or at all. The news is the opening of four locations with banking services om the east coast as a test. Really, they can't deliver an envelop or magazine to the right account and they want to, handle my money!
Just a little upset, because this happens more than a few times. I'm very aware of the bad weather, but when you see your postal worker drive by your entire street and not deliver to one house, and it's only 2:30 in the afternoon, it's maddening. We were standing at our driveway to get the mail from her and she didn't even stop. We have Informed delivery, so I know, for two days I had important mail!
tracking shows a package was delivered "in" my mailbox. This size package will not fit in the slot on our box. So the mail man must have set the package on the ground next to the box which is on a busy street. I am sure someone else picked it up.
Why doesn't someone answer the phone during business hours? I have called multiple times and there is not even the option to leave a message!!!! Question: Does anyone there even care?
attitude, attitude ... why some staff are consistently mean, lazy, and rude, 24/7? Passport Service, Picking up Mail, ... have we paid tax to get serviced?
Postal Leaders: something is wrong with this place, please fix it up.
Staff there: I can name a few of you who are helpful and nice. But those less charming ones make this place a horror experience. You need to speak up!!
Sitting in the Southlake Post Office waiting for them to call my name for a passport. Been here 30 mins already. 3 people working, but they don’t call anyone for passports unless there are no people in line. Then they will call a name. I would think they would put 1 person on passports. There are 4 of us waiting. This can take hours. It would be nice if they would let us make an appointment, but they would have to answer the phone to be able to do this.
Walked into an empty post office only to be told that passport office was closed due to being down an employee. There was three postal employees standing at the counter and I was the only customer. If there's one thing my tax dollars are paying for is laziness instead of customer service. Thanks for updating the website to reflect office hours when closed due to low staffing.
(4/24/2017) This Southlake Post Office is only open until 3pm for Passport Acceptance (NOT 4pm as stated here on website!!) - FYI! Also, their camera is not working today - so you might want to plan on having your photo made PRIOR to arriving here. Because you can't get a passport without a photo and you can't get it done here!
Very sad that the USPS can't do a better job of communicating correct hours, making sure their equipment is working and answering their phone! I might have been able to get all this information if I had been able to speak to a human...but it's hard to get a human to answer!
This location refuses to answer the phone. I have called multiple times. Different days and times and they will not answer the phone. If we have a problem, are we supposed to come stand in a long line to not have it resolved???
This week we have received a whole batch of mail that isn't ours and isn't even close. We don't even see our mailman, much less have time to chase him down and now I can't get hold of anyone on the phone to dispatch him to come inside. So NOW, someone will have to do your job and go deliver to this customer!
