Same for my package. Mailed by vendor through Amazon. Package was Sent back due to address verification. Oddly enough 3 other packages was delivered on time. No update on my las package and every time i call and request agent, it rings then hangs up.

I mailed a letter picked up by Richmond post office ,addressed to a bank in Houston 77042,it took 19 days. I think the reason why it takes so long is that Richmond post office sent the letter to Houston sort facility and then the facility will sort and send to the local Houston post office which serves the bank. But Houston sort facility is moving from Houston to Missouri City,this could be the reason why it takes so long. So if you are mailing from richmond to Houston,it is better to drop it off at a Houston post office nearby,so it would not be sent to Missouri City.

We live in Fulshear Run which has a community mail box system. I just opened my box to find a 3x8 inch box crammed into the box along with a soft garment package and all the other envelop mail was crushed!! Everyone here complains about misplaced mail in wrong boxes. The USPS was so reliable years ago…so what happened? Very disappointing.

I was looking for a package for my granddaughter. Email was sent yesterday that they had it going to a business address with my address on it and couldn't deliver it. Today I get a message stating that it was delivered and in my mailbox. It was not in there. I tried and still trying to reach someone to get this resolved and find out just where is my package. No answer.

Just need to make sure that my postal delvery person Milan, Route 87 Richmond Tx Post Office, is recognized for doing an outstanding job. He was amazing. He was out a couple of days ago and an another person delivered my package. It was a very important package and I was given the wrong key. Waited for couple days and finally I saw Milan leaving my section. I flagged him down and he turned around to see where my package was. He confirmed that the wrong key was left in my mailbox. I got my package and he saved me from embarassment. Great Job Milan! Thank you so much.

These guys have cost me many hundreds of dollars, For some reason even when dropping mail in the drop boxes, they still lose it. Their home pickups for online business are not reliable. they literally lose my mail inbound and outbound ALL the time. the lazy, sad excuse for carriers have no pride and should all be fired and start over. Really it is that bad. they cop attitudes, just not good at their job and dont seem to care. I am in LMF.

I have been living in Lakemont subdivision zip code 77407 going on ten years and constantly experience other folks mail being delivered to me. I have experienced the post office indicating my mail has been delivered but when I have checked my mailbox the items are not there and the post office has done a grossly incompetent job of figuring out where my mail actually went. Some of the miss delivered mail was in regards to the VA and caused my case to be closed because I failed to respond to the VA in what the VA defines as a timely manner. How do you respond to mail you never received? Now today 28 February 2022 I am informed three pieces of mail was delivered to me in one of the big box and yep they gave me the wrong key. So I hand wrote a message to the idiot postal deliverer hoping they can actually read and comprehend what they read explaining to them they have once again screwed up delivering mail properly to me.

Have been trying to reach Richmond PO reqarding a package that was shown as delivered on 1/6/2022. This was to a granddaughter who has just moved to this location. She has not received her package and after reading the reviews doesn't sound like she will. No one answers the phone and as she works away from home she is unable to go personally to check on it. My packages keep being placed in another mailbox, people are delivering the package to my front door. I have a package that has been delivered 11 days ago, I have not been able to get anyone from the post office to answer me. I am very upset that this keeps happening. They just decided to return all my mails to sender after 4 days I was not checking my mail. Waiting long line at the post office to get my mail, and they said all my mails have been returned to sender. Total time from the last date I checked mail was one week, yes, ONE FREAKING WEEK, they said they have the rights to do so, yes they have all the rights, right???????? Another neighbors mail was placed in my box. I returned the mail since it was not mine, but apparently the person that received my mail did not do the same. I have important documents that must be voided and resent to me. Someone in my neighborhood has those documents because the mail was placed in the wrong boxes. Please asked carriers and substitute carriers to be diligent in assuring that mail is being placed in the correct customer box.

I see many poor reviews for our local Richmond, TX Post Office. However, my review will be just the opposite! I went there Monday 6/22/2020 to set up a lock change for our mailbox because the lock no longer worked. The young lady I spoke with, a Supervisor, said she would take care of it personally either on her way home that evening or when coming to work the next day. Wow, Outstanding customer service! Well, on Tuesday morning 6/23/2020 I received a knock on my front door, and yes, it was her handing me my knew mailbox keys! Great job to our Richmond Post Office, y’all rock!!

The older lady that assists with package pick up is beyond rude on all levels. Many people in line continuously tolerate her lack of customer service and rudeness. I have verbally complained to the Post Office Supervisor and he stated as usual that he would address the issue. As of today I will no longer utilize their services!

I have been waiting my keys for 5 month after I paid the fees. I been talking to different supervisors every time I come to post office to pick up my mail. Last Thursday I spoke to supervisor and he promised me that they will fix my key and deliver my mail to my house. I agreed and left but no one come to fix my key or deliver my mail. At this moment I am standing and waiting to another supervisor to give me my mail. It is unbelievable that I cannot even get my mail. I have a lot of email because I just moved to my new house on January. They don’t want to give their name no manager or post officer available to talk to. Now I wish I got news media to address my issue. Right now I am standing and refused to go home with out my mail. Please I need help

If I could give a minus rating I would. I am a snow bird that files all the required info to have our mailed forwarded to us in Wisconsin. Today, 1/6/2020 I received mail dated in September, October and November, two of which were retirement checks. This is piss poor service to say the least, but typical of this post office. Just ask any resident of Del Webb Sweetgrass.

Does anyone work at the Richmond post office? The mail box serving my street on Grand Mission fell over 2 weeks ago, and the post office management staff has not found it necessary to fix it. Rather, they have the effrontery to ask residents to drive over 20 miles round trip to pick up their mails. Like most, people who live on my street, are busy at work same hours the post office is open. This is unacceptable! Residents are running out of patients. For 2 weeks most have not received their mails. This gives credence to people who believe anything run by the government does not work.

This post office and it's "workers" make me want to "go postal" on the postal people...is that even possible...what would that be called?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!!! How are they still employed?!? How is it that important mail from actual/intentional senders is marked/processed as "returned to sender", or even better "resident has moved and didn't leave forwarding address", but for some reason I still get all of the crap mail that they want to unload on me? I don't know why all of you are so frustrated...these people are awesome :/ Is there at lease ONE accountable person in this ENTIRE organization??? Since I have I have lived here in Richmond (12 years) my mail service had been terrible. I have had certified mail to me returned to sender as undeliverable. I have had confidential info sent to me that never showed up and was never sent back to sender. Last month I placed a hold on my mail while on vacation and received emails confirming the hold and confirming delivery resumption the day I was to return. However, when I returned my box was full of mail and the there seemed to have been no held mail delivered after that. Two shareholder meeting notices and proxies that my bank sent me while I was gone still have never showed up. Lastly, the mail person refuses to close the mailbox and therefore the mail is soaked from the rain. My tax appraisal was soaked and the ink ran so bad you couldn’t read it. I even put a note in my box asking them to please close the door. They did for about a week, then leave it open again. Is that something they really need to be asked to do. Unbelievably bad and inconsiderate. Apparently there is no accountability there. And there are almost daily errors in my mailbox. I don’t trust the USPS to send anything important anymore.

do not know what is wrong with the US Postal delivery people. Can they not read? I live on Fern Footpath Lane in McCrary Meadows. Every day 2 or 3 people are missing packages because they are supposedly put in the mailboxes, but they are NOT put in the correct mailboxes. What is the problem??? I know everyone has an off day now and then, but this is EVERY DAY!! I am the most recent victim. My amazon order was listed as "delivered inside my mailbox on Wednesday, May 29th" Not so! This is beyond frustrating!!! With the cost to mail items not decreasing, maybe you should train your people better. No one takes pride in their jobs anymore!! Also, on a completely different note, I received a package last week and the key in my mailbox had the #8 on it, however, the package boxes in section 3 of McCrary Meadows have NO numbers on them. The Keys do, but the boxes do not. Do you see a problem here??? AND THE KEY IN MY BOX DID NOT WORK IN ANY OF THE BOXES! All the locks and keys need replaced! The US Post Office is a disgrace!! for what you all get paid this should be a smooth working machine! Instead its a bunch of people that are too lazy to do a good job! A very unhappy customer FORCED to use this horrible post office!

This is disturbing that both my priority packages that I paid extra for and mailed 12/12/18 and another 12/20/18 have both NOT arrived to their destinations yet. It says one of the packages coming to the Richmond Area arrived on 12/24/18 but it has STILL NOT BEEN DELIVERED. Do you all just close the doors and do your own thing? Who is the manager there and can you not doing anything about the poor reviews you are getting below? Are postal carriers still have integrity? These were XMAS greetings that took time to purchase, stand in line and mail only to find they have arrived there, but have not been delivered. Your phone on three occasions beeps busy. WHO cares there and can you get priority packages delivered with a tracking number? Deeply disappointed and I will do all I can not to use the postal service again. This is an unforgivable lack of service. If it was to your family you might care but you have got to answer phones and get things delivered.

I'm new to Richmond. I recently went to post office on 11/7 to apply new mailbox keys. They told me it would take 2-3 weeks to mail home. However, now it's almost 4 weeks and I still haven't received them. I tried to call Richmond Post Office many times but no answered. I paid $25 to get the mailbox keys but lost my receipt. I don't know what to do now.... Very poor customer service.

UNFORTNATELY, my review of the Richmond TX post office is terrible. * Long lines with the slowest moving employees EVER SEEN * Workers are extremely rude * They have a posting up regarding "RUDE CUSTOMERS"...very unprofessional * They never answer the phone * Their new state of the art "do it yourself" mail station SUCKS. It's always broke * The building is always a mess and very dirty * Their outside lighting is poor. It's very dark around the building & unsafe * The outside mailbox is always full. They do not pick-up the mail based on the time listed on the outside of their pick-up box

As many others have commented on here already, worst post office I’ve ever dealt with! This is not a new issue, I’ve lived in my home now for 5 years and the problems have been happening for at least 4 of the 5. Currently I am waiting on 2 separate deliveries, both of which show to be delivered and in one of the parcel boxes, neither of which has shown up. Additionally, at least weekly I’m having to deliver misplaced mail to other neighbors in my subdivision. It is impossible to contact anyone at the post office because they simply don’t answer the phone, EVER!!!!!!!!! Those of us who actually work (since the people employed here obviously don’t) can not make it to the post office to speak to anyone because of the hours. Something has to give!!!

Very disappointed in the afternoon postal supervisor on duty on or about Aug 29th 2018. A damage box package was delivered to my home. So I took it to the post office and refused the package with return to sender however the supervisor assumed without research that I open it and refused to send the package back to the sender but rather use postage and redelivered it to my home twice.... ***Poor Customer Service***

The Richmond, Texas post office is full of lazy employees who have zero work ethic!! My mail carrier put a package of mine in the parcel box and key in my mailbox. This key does not open the parcel box where my package is. I have attached notes to the key explaining how it does not work for the box where my package is being held hostage and the lazy piece of poop carrier has completely ignored my attempts at communicating with her. It has been a week now and my package is still sitting in the parcel box and I can't get it out!!!!!! My house is only 2 away from the mailboxes, do you think the lazy carrier can walk it over.....NO, of course not!!!! I want my freaking package!! This would not fly with any other customer service/retail business!!!!! When I find out her name, I am demanding the she be fired!!!!

I am new to Richmond and would like to get my mailbox keys since they are a week late. It is Saturday morning and the post office opened at 9am. I just psycho dialed the Richmond post office from 9:02am-10:22am. An hour and 20 minutes and 62 phone calls later....still no one answered. If this was a regular non-government business, i would have been fired for not answering a customer service line. What is up with that??

I have been dealing with the postal service in some form for 45 years and lived in various places in the United States. Without a doubt this is the worst post office I have encountered. The postal service is losing money and decided to hire contractors to deliver mail instead of United States Postal Service employees. The USPS employees resent this and their attitude shows. The contractors show the mail to be delivered for Amazon just so they can stay out of trouble and keep their contract. Sometimes it is several days before the "delivered" package arrives. If your mail or package is lost the first response when you file a claim is always a denial. I have been told by the Post Office to go around my neighborhood and ask my neighbors about my packages. Seriously? It is your job to make an accurate delivery, not my job to track down my packages. If you don't have to use the mail... DON'T!

I mailed a small package April 3rd from a small east coast city-it arrived at the Richmond Post Office on April 6 and went out on delivery - according to the tracking (which I check on a regular basis) as of April 12 it is STILL out on delivery. and according to the person who I sent it to -they have still not received it. how long does it take to deliver ???

HORRIBLE. JUST HORRIBLE. This used to be a decent post office. Not anymore. The last several years have seen a decline in service and reliability. Several times a carrier has skipped delivering a package at my residence only to update the tracking as "delivery attempted". Not so, no note was left, no door knock or doorbell ring. I was home. The latest - the carrier rang the doorbell but immediately walked away. Know this because someone was home to take the delivery and didn't understand why the mail carrier rang the doorbell only to walk away. No delivery notice was left. Given each of these instances is with medicines - I'm starting to wonder of the carrier is trying to make off with the package to re-sell or something.

I had a package that was undelivered because it did not have the physical numbers on the package. It had my name along with the street address and it was at the Richmond post office. The package was sent back to its original origin which is China. I feel like the postal workers could have done a little work to find out my physical address. They could have at least asked the postal worker who delivers to the street if he or she recognized my name. I feel like nothing was done to try and deliver this package to me once they saw there was no physical address. No one at this office tried to help me and now I am having a difficult time trying to get the package delivered to me because they have not received the original package back.

We moved from our home in Grand Mission in November. Today an ex neighbor of mine said he found a piece of mail addressed to me ON TOP OF THE MAILBOXES! They are supposed to be forwarding our mail and I have not received my magazines (2) since November. I agree with others, this is the worst post office ever!

This is a HORRIBLE post office. Always misplacing my packages or lost my packages. When you're trying to contact the post office, always a busy signal. Mail carriers are just unreliable/careless. Definitely POOR employees.

The service to LMF is terrible! Worst I've ever experienced! Deliveries to wrong addresses, packages falling out of truck in middle of street that neighbors find and kindly deliver, and today, raining heavily and rather than taking two more steps to put it undercover out of the rain, package was left exposed in rain! TWO MORE STEPS! Pure laziness and lack of care and respect! I avoid the USPS whenever possible for these reasons! No wonder their going broke! No accountability, poor employees! Typical federal government run organization!

Do not hand over your packages to mail carriers or they will never reach their destination . I handed 33 packages on March 9th to our mail carrier and the packages have gone missing. When i call the post office no one picks up , if they do pick up they put me hold for atleast an hour before i hang up as no one comes on line to talk to . I was able to get someone to talk to once and she was very rude and condescending . AVOID THIS POST OFFICE as they either steal your packages or dump them in trash

This is one the poorest , most horrible behaving employees ever !! Yes TRAVIS.J.WILLIAMS , I am talking about you !! You don't know how to talk to people, your customer's service is horrible. There is no reason to scream at people just because you feel like. Extremely unprofessional .
For Every Door Direct Mail , we need to bundle in the 50 or 100 postacrds together. This is the correct rule . Which we did for 5000 postcards in bundles of 50postcards each. And then my staff went to my drop it off, and this person came out screaming at my staff in front of eveyone saying it was all bundled wrong and that I as a owner did't know anything. My staff didn't say a word , went outside , in the hot blazing sun , rearranged the whole thing according his saying , and yet after all this he continued to treat them badly. How much can a person tolerate?
I can't imagine why is this place still up and running. Why is that even after so many poor reviews about this place , no one does anything about this ? An investigation needs to be done about this .

This post office is a magnet for the worst employees anywhere. The carriers are unprofessional and rude. They are slow at delivering mail..not by hours but days. Mail and parcels are constantly lost. When filing a claim for redelivery it never makes a difference, the packages never show up. Still can't find my package and calls to post office for resolution are unanswered.This post office should be closed and everyone terminated. The service couldn't get any worse. I just called to get info on paying my for my POBox over the phone. The Hispanic woman that answered was so incompetent she claimed she did not know how to check the system for amount or due date. She said the clerk that knew how to do that was not in. She also proceeded to tell me that if the rent was not paid on time that they would simply lock the box until it was paid. What a waste of time!

zip code 77469-5785. filed a delivery hold online well over a week before my departure. prior to my filing, my neighbor had filed a hold in person but gave me his box key " just in case". usps never did hold his mail.
some mail was delivered during my absence ( who knows when ). delivery did resume on the date i requested; however, it took over a week for them to deliver the mail they did hold which should have been delivered on the resume date. It included bills and other time related parcels which caused problems. merchants don't readily receive "postoffice" as a reason for late payment. there is obviously a serious problem @ 5560 Fm 1640 Rd, Richmond, TX 77469 location(near walmart) 281-633-0386. ... need a new postmaster, procedures refresher and improved employee training.

This post office would keep a person from moving to Richmond! I call see why USPS is having difficulty staying in business. For one, Customer Service!! We had went on a trip and placed our mail on hold, all our mail was still delivered. I personally brought the form into the post office NOT online, for the hold mail. The previous owners of our home did a change of address and we are still receiving their mail, not just their magazines. I complained and now we aren't receiving any mail at all at our address. A package was scheduled for delivery on 9/20/2014 and left a notice. We were at home at 6:38 pm for the scheduled delivery and no notice was left in the mailbox or at the front door. I am not the first to complain and most of my community speaking with neighbors has had the same sort of issues or problems,...no mail at all, misplaced mail, waiting on boxes to be installed, etc.

We have has soooooooooo many problems with this Office. The mailman marks the package as delivered, but there is no package in our mailbox / or front door. I have complained about this issue with the postmaster a couple of times but it just does not get fixed. I bet the businesses that guarantee 2 day services have a paid contract with the USPS, and the lazy workers mark it delivered so they stay out of trouble,,,,, poor customer service.... Wish we could just change to another USPS location.

Richmond's office is the worst with customer service from it's Post Master. I purchased stamps from their kiosk and only received half of the total amount I paid for. I waited for an hour before someone was able to figure out to check the machine, and then was told there was nothing wrong with the machine. They would not refund me or provide stamps in place of the ones that were not printed. Then, I was told the post master would notify me in a couple of days to whether they would be sending my stamps in the mail. It's been 2 weeks, no stamps or call. I've been calling the post office non-stop all day and no one answers.

I have to agree with everyone! This post office is the worst!! They've delivered 2 of MY parcels to my neighbors' houses....thank goodness i have honest neighbors that gave them to me. They mark delivered when mail clearly hasn't been delivered. they're lazy....none of my neighbors got mail yesterday (and it wasn't a holiday)!!!!
Oh! And to top it......NOT friendly or helpful at all!!! So wish I could switch to another post office location! Definitely makes one question moving into this area...THAT BAD!!!!

This office is horrible. I have been trying now for 7 wks to have my mailboxes put in so that we (and 11 other families) can begin receiving mail without having to drive down to their office. Began calling on 3/10, told it would take 2-3 wks. Called again on 4/7, told in by the end of the wk. Now today I am on hold for 30 min, with someone picking up every 10 and asking who I am holding for before placing me on hold again.
