For years I have thought the employees at this location are the absolute worse. Each time I have to go there they are worse than the previous time(s). They are disgruntled, lazy, and have absolutely no business being in a customer facing job. Their incompetence and rudeness is unbelievable. Why does the Post Master for this location tolerate such behavior?
I read all the reviews and knew not to expect much from this post office. I went there today and it is worse than the reviews even state. I stood in line for 20 minutes all I needed to do was drop off a package but I had to have a receipt showing that it had been scanned. The lady refused to help me after I stood in line and said you have to do it yourself at the machine. I went to the machine and there was an error message on the machine it was down and not working. I went back to the lady and told her the machine is not working I don’t need you to put postage or weigh it everything is done I just need you to scan it so I can have a receipt to show that it’s been returned. She refused to help me she advised me that they were told that they are not to help customers who can use the self check out machines. I once again advised her the machine is not working and I’ve already stood in two lines. When I asked to speak to her supervisor She simply told me ring the doorbell she refused to give me her name she refused to give me her supervisors name and who supposedly told them not to help the customers. Not sure what she’s getting paid for if she’s not going to help the customers, she is just a waste of space. The girl behind the door when I rang the doorbell her name was Aluri she said she could not scan it there either but she did go to the machine with me so we can get it fixed and up and running to where I can get what I needed. Aluri Was very kind and patient with me and the Customer in front of me. The rest of the people working there or a joke. While I was still in line a gentleman with two boxes approached another lady and he needed to weigh his boxes and pay postage. She again advised him he can use the machines to do that however at least she was willing to do it for him. But when he told her you are telling me to use the machine so you don’t have to deal with me she said yes that’s absolutely correct. Who is training these people. it’s so disgusting the behavior and treatment you get with the employees at this post office
I usually don’t leave reviews. But this has got to be the worst post office ever. I been calling them since 10am and it rings and rings and rings and no one ever answers their phone no matter what options you press. I haven’t received my mail in 3 days and they seem to not want to answer the phone. Total waste of tax money.
They lost a package I shipped to Sugar land. Put in a response ticket and gut a call from them but let’s no message. Been trying to call back and as everyone else states no one answers their phones no matter what response button you push . Total government run business.
I have called for weeks and no answer I have not received any mail nor can I access my mailbox. Does anyone have any suggestions since my work hours prohibits me from going to the local office on Matlage
I fully agree that the Sugar Land 225 Matlage Way is the worst post office in the world. There was intimation from the USPS informed delivery web service that the mails are coming to the post box. Even after weeks, the mails are not delivered. All important mails are missing. !!!
My post office is at 225 Matlage Way, Sugar Land, TX 77478. From 9:00 a.m. I have been trying to call non stop and they keep disconnecting my call...no one answers...want to get in touch with my mail man. I received a USPS package open and the item missing empty envelope..very disappointed...tracking shows it was received but nothing in the plastic grey envelope...I lost my items
I have something in the mail that needed to go out on Tuesday. NO one has come by since Monday. It is now Thursday.
Now, my deadline to get this piece of mail out has been delayed bc of YOUR postal services.
I continue missing mail from this post office. I am a subscriber to Time magazine and am suppose to receive a magazine weekly. Normally I receive it on Saturday. I have yet to receive my magazine as of today.
This has happened to me previous and I have received other neighbors mail as well. I have reported a previous complaint through the central post office and I have yet to hear about their finds or steps to correct this issue. This certainly reflect their urgency to correct this problem.
I've called three times this morning and not answer let the phone ring a long time. Shipped form Mi. I have a small bridal business. I can see what kind of customer service is in store for myself and customer.
Total incompetence. First off, they lost a priority package showing leaving their office for delivery 3 days ago. When trying to contact them during business hours, no one answers the phone. Private corporation would be out of business if they operated like this facility.
Repairs here take months, years. Parking lot potholes are ridiculous. The worst is deep and unavoidable at the entrance. Why are other locations able to maintain parking and drives? Have to start going to other location to keep from tearing up me and my vehicle.

When our regular mail person is out we NEVER GET OUR MAIL. We are a Dr. office and need our mail to go out and be delivered every single day. We haven't received any mail since Tuesday, November 6! The other problem is that no one at the Matlage way post office answers the phone during office hours.

Horrible sevice! I've been trying to book an appointment to renew my child's passport. Im always told to call on another date all booked but you can only book an appointment within 14 days. Costumer service is not good at all. Not willing to help and make you feel like your bothering them!!
