This unfortunate situation has been ongoing since October 2023, and despite my efforts to address the matter through claims and communication with USPS, the problem persists.
Unlike my experiences with FedEx and Amazon, where deliveries have been consistently reliable, I have encountered instances where USPS-marked items are declared as "delivered" according to their tracking system. However, on these occasions, my Informed Delivery notifications indicate no mail for the stated delivery date. Additionally, upon reviewing my security camera footage, I have not observed anyone placing items in my mailbox or on my front porch, contrary to the information provided in the delivery notifications.
I have taken the necessary steps, including filing claims and requesting to speak with the Mansfield supervisor concerning the behavior of the mail carrier. Regrettably, these efforts have not yielded a resolution to the problem. Notably, I have consulted with neighbors who have also experienced similar issues, leading some to avoid using USPS services altogether.
The most recent incident occurred on December 13th when I received a notification that a package had been delivered at 1:08 PM. However, during that time frame, my entire family was outdoors engaged in leaf-raking activities from 12:15 to 4:45 PM. Remarkably, my security camera footage captures the mail carrier driving past our residence without making a delivery. Confirming with both neighbors produced no evidence of the package being delivered to them. The repeated occurrences of stolen packages have not only caused frustration but have also eroded my confidence in USPS services. Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
How is it ,this branch was remodeled and the lobby is open but nothing works.
It’s Christmas time and I can’t mail a package.
No , we are sorry or signage saying what or when the issue will be resolved. Last year the package door handle was broken and took forever to get repaired. Thanks for making an one hour trip in to a two hour trip.
havin a problem with Ebay items being removed from the package, i get the package but in this case the tool was removed.. A previous package was opened but since it was old and rusty they didnt want it.. it appears that they first open an obsevation hole then they use a razor to cut through the tape to remove the item then stick it back together on its merry way..i have no idea at what point this happens.. im sure its not my delivery guy as i know him and speak to him often
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to observe several of your Mansfield, TX Post Office employees. And Abu is one of your better ones! He is courteous, always helpful and has a positive attitude. Definitely an asset to the Mansfield team!

My address is 2517 Goodnight Trail
Mansfield, TX 76063 and i have not received any mail in three days.
Please advise as to what I need to do.
Thank you.

For the 3rd time in 6 weeks, I received an 11.25" x 10" heavy cardboard mailer that contains collectible merchandise that was destroyed because it was bent and folded up to fit inside my regular size mailbox. Keep in mind it says (ON BOTH SIDES) in 1.5" BOLD, all-capital blue letters "DO NOT BEND" and "OPEN WITH CARE." Not only that, but the cardboard is also so thick it really takes some effort to bend it like they did. Then yesterday I received a 9.25" x 5" mailer in even heavier cardboard that contained a 1-ounce collectible silver coin. It was not bent, but the coin was taken out of it! I don't know what type of people deliver our mail, but it's clear to me either they cannot read English, simply don't care, or they're just plain stupid, plus they seem to be common thieves! If you want to have some fun tomorrow, be at my house when the mail comes, I'll be the one in the front yard in combat fatigues and a bad attitude!
Could you please tell the postal delivery drivers to not drive through yards. I can send you pictures of the ruts and video of the little USPS jeep as well if you like. That behavior is unprofessional and damages property.
Yesterday I was coming home from being out of town I saw my mail that I had held was delivered on the porch. All was well. Then my mailman was driving by, saw me, then honked 4 times, pulled over and got out of his truck chastising me for having so many packages with my held mail and how this was not right and I still had packages back at the post office. Then he asked sarcastically if I had fun on my vacation and that he was jealous. I felt threatened and very uncomfortable. I mostly nodded and moved back from him. All I was thinking was why didn't he bring all of my packages? Isn't that what help mail is all about?
Tried to call multiple times and it's always busy. We have been receiving our neighbors mail (including important bills) for over a month now and I worry that they are receiving ours. Initially I either hand delivered it or just put it back in our mail box with the flag up; but, then I started writing "Delivered to wrong address" on it. Nothing has made it any better. Since it is Tax time and we should be receiving all of Tax documents this is extremely worrisome that we are having this issue!
Trying to call this location for an hour but didn't get though all i kept getting was a busy signal. Than at a different time of day called back and wait still can't get through!! I have a package locked inside a locker with a defective key. I haven't had access for three days and unfortunately my work schedule doesn't allow for me to wait around for driver. Really frustrating! Lack of service lack of communication lack of care on boxes.
The post office had my package for an entire month but told me when I got there they did not have it. So today I received a little paper stating I have a package at the post office due to not being able to get delivered. This was for a Xmas gift I ordered and was supposed to rcv before Xmas. My daughter went and took the paper and they handed her the package from a month ago, the package they stated they didn't have and told her they don't have the package for the actual one that the paper stated was for. This is ridiculous. You have one job and you can't seem to get it right. How is it you all have a package if mine thats been sitting there for a month and yall stated yall never had it but then when we go to pick up a recent package now that one isn't there and now the month old one somehow appears??
Getting more and more disappointing with Postal. Im sorry but I been consisting getting delivery notification that they havent been able to access my mailbox? When it's been accessible majority of time. Ive spied on the mail people times a few times and if your car 15 in or a little less from the mailbox they'll decide whether they want to put your mail in or not if they can't reach it. If they can't reach then they move on to the next one when they couldn't get their damn ass up and put the mail in there quick. Maybe we need to try the Dallas way where mail people take their big bag and walk the neighbors delivery the mail, cause some of them mail people are too reliable of their vehicles. Im just asking for a little bit of energy effort in delivery. I dont care how later mail arrives just as long as it arrives.
Carrier delivers $800 worth of product to THE WRONG LOCATION leaves it at the front door, OF THE WRONG BUSINESS and tells me that if it is uninsured, IT'S TOO BAD! Seriously?? First off, who thinks it's a good idea to leave a package outside of a business location. Second, I was here ALL DAY. This isn't the only problem I've had with this location. No mail delivery when I first open for months because they had me assigned to the wrong box.
We are so frustrated that we are having our mail sent back to our clients saying "UNDELIVERABLE - NOT CORRECT ADDRESS" yet the address is correct. We have the entire building. This just started up within the last 3 weeks. No one can tell us why. Now I'm on hold and the recording says the wait time is 1 hour! Seriously....so disappointed!
we recently had two interactions with employees of this post office. we got our childrens passports and we were very pleased with the speed and efficiency of the lady that took care of us...
the experience was so positive that i decided to search the internet to compliment the employees.. and today we met our local mail carrier who delivered a package that required our signature.
both of the employees were very professional and personable...
Go USPS!!!!
We drove for more than an hour to go to this passport office. The office signs posted onsite as well as online state that they close at 4 pm. Calling ahead made absolutely no difference. We were there by 3:15 and were told that they were closed. They refused to see us; Wouldn't even allow us to sign in. While we were there we saw them turn away four other families that were there by 3:30 pm and heard different stories from different employees as to what time they close and their reasons why. One employee kept pointing to a sign on the table as evidence that they close early but the sign had no such verbiage and they eventually said they make up their own hours. I have had many passports made over my lifetime and have never been so disappointed or rudely treated. If you are in need of a passport, save yourself the hassle and avoid this location.
This morning at 530 am I placed a package for return in my mailbox, with the red flag up indicating a package/letter for pickup. It is now 845pm and the package still hasn't been picked up. This is not the first time I have suspected my carrier of not running their route. Once while I was in the yard they stuck an "unable to deliver" notice in the box instead of calling out for me to sign the receipt. I bet if I did a survey 20 houses in either direction of mine, more than 50% get equally crappy service. I don't have much confidence in the actual post office building either.
WORST service ever!!! I did a change of address on-line, followed up 3 weeks later by a visit to USPS as they were "holding" my mail- followed by a mailed in card, and I am still not getting my mail. I was told my mailbox was overflowing, and mail was going down the street!! in this age of identity theft, this is NOT acceptable!!!!
I have been a customer of this (Mansfield,Mass.) branch and a frequent user of this post office and today i was alarmed to see that the post office declaration still post the former U.S. President George Bush not the present United States President of America Barack Hussein Obama. How can this be? The people of this country have spoken and this office needs to get in line and anon.
A friend called me at 8:03 A.M. on a Saturday morning and told me a bundle of my company's mail with checks in it was lying in a box out on the front lawn of the post office. An employee of my company had dropped off our outgoing mail Friday evening in the outside box. Apparently, someone from the post office had emptied the outside mailbox but failed to take the mail inside. Now it is 9:30 but the post office doesn't open until 10:00 A.M. and when I dial the main number, it just goes to the "busy" signal. Not a good representation of our great city!
This post office is incompetent at a systemic level.
First, I called them to ask for recommendations on where to place my mailbox, as I was building a house on a country road. They responded with, "just look at your neighbors and do it like they did." I looked at my neighbors, and I picked the one who I thought did it the safest, because there's was up off the road, on the driveway, so that the mail carrier could deliver the mail without having to be parked on a road with no shoulder.
Time passed, and I never received any mail or any communication. When I called, they told me I wasn't allowed to put mailbox where I did, because it would take too long for the carrier to deliver the mail and back out of the driveway. When I appealed to the postmaster, Jason, he told me a different story, that it was to protect the drivers from having to back up. If he had ever been on my road, and seen that it had no shoulder, he would have realized that putting the mailbox where I did was much safer than along the road, but I suspect driver safety wasn't his real motivation.
So for a week or so, we went in and picked up our mail from the office, since they refused to deliver. During that time, there was rain nearly every day, and it was not feasible to relocate the mailbox. Then one day, when we went in to get the mail, without warning, they informed us that they had returned all our mail to sender and would no longer be accepting any of it. According to tracking receipts, they had apparently informed all the senders that we had moved, which was a flat out lie. When I called the postmaster, Jason, to give him a chance to explain himself, he was obstinate, and insisted they had done nothing wrong. When I called him out for failing to communicate where I should have put my mailbox and that they would be returning all our mail, he again refused to accept any blame for his gross negligence and told me if I didn't know their rules, I should have just googled them.
The Mansfield Post Office is very lucky they are in an industry with no competition, because they would be all individually fired, and the office shut down. Jason and his staff are grossly incompetent, and negligent in their duties to properly communicate their expectations and deliver the most basic of services to their constituency.
I had a package delivered Friday and the mail person walked up to within 15' of porch and threw package on the ground. If we had not been setting at table it could have been buried in leaves and we would not have known it.i am glad it was also not breakable. Is it to much to ask that it be put on porch, the brown truck people put packages on chair on porch or lean it against the front door.
