My medication comes from my insurance approved mail service but the Hutto mail carriers keep either losing it or delivering to the wrong address, since it's never recovered I don't know which it is. My insurance says it was delivered, the Hutto post office says it was scanned delivered but I don’t always receive it. The meds provider has the correct address so the Hutto Post Office is failing miserably.
The result is my insurance won't approve more meds because they have already sent them. So someone else is getting my medication or the mail carriers are stealing them and I am paying for it. In the meantime I have to do without medication that I need to stay healthy. Such poor service is not acceptable. Hutto Post Office/Mail Carriers SHAME on You!!
Lazy government workers don't care where they deliver your mail! It's not rocket science! Match the physical address or mailbox to the address on the package, it's that simple!!!
I had the worst experience at the Hutto Texas PO. I purchased two delivery confirmation labels one for a priority envelope within the other envelope to be returned to me. The first label was given to me and when I told her I needed another she took it away and threw the first one away. I told her no I want that small strip of a label to put on my phone so I don’t forget. She said no. I asked for a supervisor. The PostMaster came out and I told her I want the little strip that she threw away. She replied “It doesn’t matter what you want the number is on your receipt”. Are you kidding me!!!!Itdoesnt matter what I want?????? IM THE CUSTOMER!!!! She couldn’t give me the little strip???? I’m not at all happy with this postmaster!!!
I am tired of getting other people's mail in my box, and not getting my mail in my box. I have had several times of having to pay late fees, because I did not get a bill. When I get someone else's mail, I put it into the outgoing mail slot, so that it will (hopefully) find it's way to the right person. Wish everyone else would do that too. I now have to make a list of when all of my bills are due, and check it every week, to ensure that I don't miss a payment for something.
This is a great post office if you just need to mail a letter, but if you need to mail a package or even just buy stamps after hours - this post office does not have a scale or self service stamp machine. My personal opinion is...if you're gonna be a post office then offer the services that a post office should! It's ridiculous that people have to drive to another city (Pflugerville or Round Rock) to mail a package or buy stamps after the lobby closes.
