We live at 529 Ten Mile Drive in DeSoto, TX. We noticed recently that our neighbor at 522 Ten Mile Drive are getting their mail delivered to there door. They had a brick mailbox on the sidewalk like all of us do in our neighborhood but now it is gone and their mail is delivered to their door. How can we get our mail delivered to our door as well? Thank you for your attention in this matter.

Desoto,Tx.75115 is by far the worst. They've returned my important mail to sender, and the employees are very rude, especially the Supervisor.I've always received other people's mail,I'm wondering if the mail carriers can read. I go to Cedar Hill,Tx. to mail letters, purchase stamps etc.

I live in Hidden Canyon, for the past few months myself and a few neighbors have been complaining about packages showing delivered but never received. My package was showing delivered 12/12/20 but I never got it. The neighborhood chat email there are several others complaining about not receiving packages also and mail being delivered to the wrong addresses.

Mail that is added into the slot to be picked up and delivered to the Post Office, is not picked up sometimes for more than 2 weeks. At one point and time I had to pull my mail out of the box and take it the post office so it can be delivered. I decided to take a chance again but I am having the same issue. This time I am unable to pull it out of the box.

Lately I've been receiving other people mail and yesterday I did not get a package I ordered. It stated the Post Office delivered to my mail box, which is not true. Can something be done to find my package?

Small complaint; I park in front of my home, way enough room for the carrier can pull behind my truck and deliver the mail, the mail has not been delivered in 3 days! Due the fact that the postal carrier is not his or her job! Carrier is lazy not too step out of the truck a few feet , put the mail in the box, and carry on. What’s the problem? Mail is supposed to be delivered st all times!

Don’t try to get a passport here! Even when you have all of your legal documents, as required by the government, one of the postal clerks thinks she knows everything about official birth certificates because she’s been working there for 3 years. Little girl, go take a refresher on legal documents, then try again. Oh, and don’t try to get anyone on the phone to answer any questions because they won’t answer.

I was working in DeSoto for the day and had pick up some stamps and mail a letter or two. It was the very end of the day and the line was almost to the door. There was one clerk working the desk and a second one came up later to help clear the line. But the first employee was very helpful, courteous, and patient with each customer. Both ladies were very professional and did not lower their standards with any customer, including the two that were extremely rude and short with them. Everyone in line saw how the customers were behaving, but they also saw how the employees responded with courtesy and patience. And, especially of note, they did not allow their frustration to show with the rude customers nor did they carry it forward to the next one. I saw them physically take a deep breath and then called the next customer, smiled and offered assistance. They both did this and it was very refreshing to see. Thank you Zimbreya and Thelma. You are excellent examples of quality, professional and outstanding women....and citizens!

On Oct 7th, 2017 I used the blue mail drop box on the corner of Belt Line and Polk (in the 7-11 Parking Lot) to mail 2 birthday cards to the same address. as of 10/25/17, neither card has arrived to the address. What's the likely hood both cards were lost? Could it be that the Mail Carrier could feel the gift cards inside the envelopes and decided to keep them for his/her own personal use? There's no way to prove what's in the box because the mail there isn't checked in by a human. It's my humble opinion, the Mail Carrier stole the cards. I've seen it happen before. I've called the Post Office but didn't have 3 hours to stay on hold. I also filed a complaint on the USPS Website. Nothing will happen...I won't even receive a call or email from them.

I have been living in DeSoto for over eleven years, and have to the conclusion that this post office is without a doubt the worst I have ever encountered. We use it only for local delivery to the house. Even if we just have an outbound letter, we will take it to Cedar Hill or Duncanville. Now, we have construction on our street and they will not deliver our mail. We have to go to the post office to pick it up. If we do not get home before 5:00, we have to wait until Saturday morning to get our mail. I find this totally unacceptable.
