Why are people on my street, including me, not getting our mail?

I am extremely disappointed that my tax return information which I sent to my CPA apparently "dead ended" on March 1, 2017 in the Gilbert, SC post office after being addressed to my CPA in North Myrtle Beach, SC. The package was tracked to Gilbert, SC and I now fear that its contents expose me to Identity Theft. That "Priority Mail" package was tracked via Tracking Code to Gilbert and checked in there on March 1st. According to postal workers, has not been seen since. I trusted the USPS, but that trust has gone. Aggravation and frustration abounds in my resentment for the USPS!
