Postal Locations

Forget trying to reach the postmaster or any responsible person in the local PO. Contact online Congressman Joe Wilson and our two US Senators and request a Congressional inquiry into the matter. That's one of the things they are there for and it's a lot more likely to get the attention of postal officials than is a call to the local Postmaster, in the unlikely event you could even get in touch with him/her.

If the main PO branch in Lexington is shooting for the worst postal service in SC or maybe even the nation you'll get my vote. If I could leave ZERO stars I would. The mail carriers that are being hired must be on crack, at least the ones that deliver to our area is. And any time I call them they WILL NOT ANSWER the phone. Since I've moved to Lexington I've had nothing but trouble getting my mail. Even had a package sent back 2 weeks before Christmas to a merchant because the delivery person didn't have enought sense to try to redeliver. This county NEEDS A NEW POSTMASTER!

I have the ability to see what mail is delivered daily. It never fails, when there is a holiday on Monday, mail is never delivered on Saturdays. Although it is suppose to. Is my mail sitting in someone’s car for a 3 day weekend. Same carrier never closes the mailbox doors. Luckily good neighbors track the residents down when it’s blown down the street.

Incompetent carriers. They misdeliver packages and the homeowner has to jump through hoop after hoop to get a resolution while the carriers just keep on keeping on. No accountability. I dread when any package I buy online is handed off to USPS.

Package delivered in mailbox torn open and empty. Tkg# 9341989745005292433353 Nothing else in the mailbox was touched. It is impossible to try to get in touch with a human at the main Lexington or Columbia office.

I did not receive 3 mails in October and as a result I was charged a late fee . The latest one is the property tax bill which Lexington County told me was mailed in mid October. My mother who lives in the next street did not get her property tax bill either, including everybody else that lives on her street Ole Sox Road. We could be fine heavily or lose property if we do not pay property tax. What is going on ? Thank you.

I would like to know how I can get in touch with the postmaster about an issue my mother had with her mail carrier. What is the number and who is that person? I also would like to have a face-to-face meeting to discuss how the mail carrier acted unprofessionally and disrespectfully to my 76-year-old mother. A solution needs to come to this matter immediately. 1) remove the mail carrier to another route and find a new person to deliver my mother's mail 2) also suggest the mail carrier that is being removed from my mother's route, go through customer service/ people skill training and conflict resolution training. She needs it if she is working for you.

To Whomever Cares: Question: Who reads the comments? If the postal workers do not read comments then what is the purpose. I find the Lexington post office very distasteful. They do not I repeat...do not handle their responsibilities as a mail carrier with accountability practices. A very important mailed piece has been located or discarded at this location since August 3rd today is September 4th. Still no return to sender. Postal workers program the automated system to say the package is on the way. To my despair the mail has never been seen by the sender. This is poor business practiced and someone needs to do something about it. Everyone is dropping the ball (worldwide)!!

I had a certified letter in the mail on Saturday never received it carrier never came to my house. I go check the my mail he has a sticker in there for me to sign, and no letter today. This is a time sensitive letter and I need it ASAP . Our driver is the absolute worst

No mail came Friday,Saturday, on Sunday I saw a mail carrier parked in front of our maintenance guys apartment building. I thought that was odd and now no mail delivered on Monday.

My package was due yesterday. Tracking said "delivery was attempted" at 6pm but that is not true. I checked my security camera and NO vehicle ever drove down my street during that time period. Do I need to come pick it up or are you going to pretend you tried to deliver it again today? I don't mind if there is a legitimate reason (snow) but I won't let anyone get away with lying

Ok so I have the informed delivery app on my phone which also goes to my email as well. All of this week my mail has not been arriving on time and I'm getting real sick and tired of it!!! My email will show me what's coming today but the actual mail doesn't show up until days later. My driver needs to get a grip and deliver my mail on time because I have bills to pay just like everyone else!!!

Awful service for any packages. They say it’s been delivered but you have to hunt it down. Packages have been left next door down the street to another address. It’s all a guessing game when waiting on a package.

Receiving neighbors mail and other similar addresses in other subdivisions. When I put back in mailbox the carrier circles current resident and leaves in my box, so I receive twice the junk mail and misdelivered mail left in box. One day I had 6 pieces of mail for 3 different neighbors. When I call the Lexington USPS there is no way to get through. I’ve worked for the USPS for 30 years and this kind of crap is going on all over the country. What a shame. These occurrences used to be rare but now are all too common.

My mail was not picked up on 12/7/2020. This is not the first time recently that my mail was not delivered nor mail picked up. I called the local Lexington office to register a complaint. I called 4 times (one right after the other) and held until I was automatically cut off. This is unacceptable.

I was waiting for a package from Amazon that was to be delivered on 07/31/2020. I got an email from the Post Office that the address was incorrect and no one by that name lived there. I have been at this address for over 20 years. Now my package has been put on hold. I get the email every morning that says what mail is coming. Sometimes I get no mail for that day's delivery. Also, I get my neighbors mail which I just put in their boxes. Service has really been bad for the last few months. What is going on???

I was waiting for a package that supposed to arrived today for my son's birthday gift and it never came when I entered the tracking number, apparently, I asked to have my package kept in the post office? when not even the postman came to my house today. If you do not want to go down to bring the mail, do not say that I was the one who asked you to retain my package when it was not. The worst service are from lexington post office

Whenever the mail carrier, in whatever plain car they drive, does decide to deliver my mail, they never put the mail all the way into the box nor attempt to close it. So my mail is totally useless if it rains. Is the job really that hard? And I changed address in November of 2019, and STILL have tons of mail never received. Sensitive information. The lady I spoke with at Ballentine location said "they don't know where it is". And rudely suggested I 'call my creditors' .

I keep getting mail that belongs to people on other streets not mine. Doesn't even have the same numerical part of the address or street. I moved a year ago and have the same post office different address and this carrier does the same thing. I have complained to the supervisor but it still happens almost weekly.

the delivery person a few weekends ago decided to drive the mail truck into the ditch to the side of my driveway rather than up the center of my driveway, and got stuck. The tow truck that came to get him out broke my gate, and left it hanging open. Both vehicles made additional damage to my gravel driveway.

I had a scheduled pick up request for today, 7/10/18. I received a confirmation email that it had been completed. But it had not so I called customer service in Lexingto, SC and was told someone would definitely be by to pick the packages up. It’s 6:30pm and no one has come. I do not drive and have no way to take these to USPS. I marked them as shipped with my company but that info was incorrect. This goes against my reputation in sales. Can someone please assist me?

We have got a new mail Lady! She has not been delivering our packages at all! I’ve sat and watched her not put it in our mailbox 3 different times! And then she goes to the post office and says we requested for it to Be held! This is getting ridiculous! What do we do!?

It is Friday, June 8, 2018 and the mail carrier was already 2 hours late so the mail I was sending off has been in the box to go off with the flag up for 6 hours. A little silver van just came down my culdesac and slowly stopped at all of my neighbors boxes and drove right by my house even though my falg was up. What does it take, I was in the yard with my dog and called after them. I have a lot of mail in my box that needs to go off today but there is not even a phone number listed that I can call to get someone to come back. Very frustrating, this is why the postal service is going under. I am very angry with no way to speak to a human being!!!!

I have lived here since July..The post lady who delivers is excellent..I have never received mail that was not mine...She has to do some maneuvering on my street as there are cars parked on the street making it difficult...She gets the job done...I moved from Richland County and your service is 100 percent better! We are having issues with our carrier at 1050 Bonhomme Richardson Dr. Lexington, SC. Our business hours are 7:30 am till 5:00 pm. Someone is always in the office. Today we had a certified letter to be signed for and she left the orange paper in the box and never came to the office. Also on several occasions she will deliver our neighbors mail because they don't have a mail box. She assumes we will take it to them. I have been putting notes on this mail stating this is not our mail. There has been many times that our mail has not been picked up or we have received it way later than the date stamped on the mail. Please look into this and let us know what we should expect.
