On 12/21/22 I sent cards to my family in the 19120 zip code area. They came back to me on 1/10/23 (20 days later!) with yellow stickers on them stating "Not Deliverable As Addressed". I took them to my Post Office where it was confirmed that the address was correct and legible. The cards were sent back. Fortunately I did not have to pay for the postage...thank you very much. They were delivered in 4 days, and that's the usual time frame since I don't live in Pennsylvania. Now, I tried to call the office to find out what the problem was, but nobody answered the phone. Their HUGE MISTAKE prompted this review! So, I'm annoyed that the phone wasn't answered, I'm disappointed that the cards were returned to me, and I'm frustrated that I had to make a special trip to my Post Office. Also, I learned that the office lacks (even before COVID 19) consistency. It's quite obvious that the office needs more competent personnel working there. I also read other reviews, and I'm not the only one unimpressed by the lack of efficiency. Someone needs to step up and get that office operating more professionally!

I went to the 101 E Olney Ave post office on Friday 7/16/2021 to send a manilla envelope it needed extra postage and I wanted to get a receipt for it, the machines were down so nothing could be weighed I thought it would be ok to just send it the post worker held the envelope and said it would cost another .55 cents altogether the cost of postage was 1.10 the person it was going to have not received the envelope as of Monday 8/2/2021 there was a gift card inside I wished I had went to another post office. My fault.

Can you post your ACTUAL hours somewhere online and/ or on the location door??!!! I have a PO Box at the Olney location and it’s hit or miss for me getting in all the time to get my mail when I come when you are SUPPOSED to be open. FRUSTRATING!!!!! And trying to call is pointless!!!! You guys have to do better!

Good evening. I am a concerned citizen and would like a serious matter investigated. The mail service in the 19120 zip code area mail carriers are not not taking the responsibility to deliver the residents mail as they were trained to do. Your employees do not take the time to give the mail to the proper address listed on the packages or letters, as well as knock on the door to inform the residents that a package is sitting outside of their residences. Many times my packages have been misplaced, open and/or crushed. I am aware of the shortages of workers due to the COVID, but the personnel who are working should have the decency to properly place the mail where it belongs. I have tried to reach out to my local post office, but either the phone is busy or the website is down, so I found your email address hoping you can help. I hope you can help with this issue. Thank you for your time.
