I was at the Sherwood post office today and wanted to write a thank you for Noah who waited on me. Due to my hearing disability Noah wrote notes on paper for me to read as needed to make sure I understood about the shipping cost. He was helpful, courteous, and very accommodating and respectful of my disability. Thank you, Peace, Dinah Shannon
I can not believe there is no way to talk to someone at any of my local post offices. I have an issue that must be addressed and I am not in town to come into the office to do so. So how is it we communicate with you? Obviously by ALL THE REVIEWS you guys just suck and really don’t give a shit.
First thing noted here no email to address complaints to. I received a notice stating my package was not delivered “due to lack of access”. The lockboxes are located in front of our house so even if they were unavailable why wasn’t the package left on our porch a few feet away? We were home the entire day and night. It’s disappointing to be given the run around and wish we could get Shauna our previous mailwoman back. Shauna would take the time to give us a delivery window on the Informed Delivery site while this new guy types in “before 9:00PM” every time. We miss you Shauna.
Wondering why no one will answer the phone during business hours at the Sherwood location?? I have let it ring until it stops ringing and try throughout the day and yet nobody picks up the phone to answer it. This is extremely frustrating
We have two male postal clerks in Sherwood, OR. One is sarcastic the other one is just plain rude! In all of the years I have dealt with him, he has never once been friendly!
The pandemic is at an extreme level in Washington Co. yet the one (rude one) clerk wears only a face mask, without a mask underneath. It is unbelievable that he is allowed to get away with this, as he sees hundreds of people daily. He is a huge risk at a time when it is recommended that people wear two masks. He is virtually not wearing one mask! This needs to be dealt with now!
Yeah they sure shouldn't be paid half the money the do to basically sell stamps. They could train a monkey to do their job and it'd only cost the price of a couple of bananas.
What a joke the Sherwood office is.
The lock on our box was changed without any notice, so I drove to the Sherwood office to see about getting a new key and was told oh to bad you got to go the the office 6 miles away in the next town. Then he took on the piss poor altitude of not my problem, don't care and I don't want to here about it, and basically get out and don't bother me. The clerk was basically a total jurk.
Sad to think those idiots are are making $30 bucks an hour.
The Sherwood post office is the reason I choose to use UPS as much as possible. The UPS Stores are a much more pleasant experience when doing business with them. The employees at the Sherwood post office are often rude, snap orders at you, and act in general like they're angry you're even in there. As is you're bothering them and they want you to leave as soon as possible. The first couple of times it happened, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. But I was just in there again, and same experience. I wish there was a way to complain higher up the chain, but I doubt it...
I have also been receiving other people's mail for years. And even worse than that, my mail has been arriving later and later. Yesterday, I checked the mail a little after 7pm and there was no mail. This morning I checked again at 6am and there was mail. We live a mile from the the post office. There is absolutely no reason for the mail to be delivered so late in the evening. My check and gift card from work are missing. Very poor service!
The carriers at this location mistakenly place my mail in other boxes. I have also received bills and other important documents that were meant for someone else. No wonder there is ID theft all the time. I asked a few times to speak with a supervisor; not only they say there isn't one, but my former complaints have never been addressed. Very unprofessional!!!
