Main Street road closures don't seem to allow access to the Post Office in Tigard. Construction hotline just rings and rings. PO Contact suggests trying at the Scoggins end and I hope something happens sometime in the next month to allow customers access.

The only method of contact is a phone number and no one ever answers. I'm trying to locate a package that has been in this facility since Feb 21--it's now March 7, 2023, and no word on when it will get delivered. I'm in Trenton, MI, and my Post Office is terrific--awesome customer service! This Portland facility is a total joke!

I tried and tried to call several times. Get put on hold. It says 8 minute wait time, 5 minute wait time, etc. 15-30 minutes later I just hang up because no one ever answers. We had mailboxes broken in to lately and was just wanting to inquire about when we will be able to pick up a new key and if they are 'officially' fixed. Guess I'll just have to keep dropping by the post office to find that information out. Just didn't want to keep making trips if it's not fixed and ready to pick up a key yet.

I attempted to drop some stamped mail into the outside drop box only to discover it was crammed to the slot. Being a daughter of a retired postal employee I thought you should know that right now with Covid you are putting customers in a risky situation. What happened to an employee with his cart emptying those boxes like in the past? There were 2 patrons today who were dropping off only who had serious ambulatory issues when they finally found a parking spot cautiously walked in using their canes. So sad and a potential litigation issue as they were expecting drive through mail service. They were to old and proud to accept my help since I was not a postal employee. Can we make this negative a positive in the future? I hope so.

This is not a good post office compared to others in the area. Everyone in my apartment complex keeps getting their mail delivered to the wrong people. Please train your employees not to take shortcuts, and look closely at the addresses. If they have questions, they should ask the apartment's front office, don't assume things. At our apartment complex at 18051 SW Lower Boones Ferry Rd, Tigard OR 97224, there are two buildings. West is on the left side upon entering the complex, and East is on the right side. Mailboxes are in the center building (front office). Parcels that cannot fit in the mailboxes should be put in the parcel lockers that are just inside the entrances to each building. 18051 addresses are for the West building. 18049 are for the East. If you don't know how to use the parcel lockers, ask the front office for help. If they are closed, place the parcels to the side of the lockers (not in the mail room, and don't take packages back to the post office, just leave them next to the lockers). If parcels are too big for the lockers, place them to the side. Don't bring parcels back to the post office. Read the residents addresses and names carefully when delivering mail so that we don't keep getting other people's mail.

I have had issues receiving mail at my address for 6+ years. My address has not changed, the mail carriers just can't seem to get it right! I have not received mail (not even junk mail) in TWO WEEKS. Yet this USPS location doesn't answer their phone in attempt to resolve the issues. When I do get mail, it has someone else's name/address on it! Beyond frustrated with the horrible attention to detail at this place.

Thank you to all postal carriers who continue to do their best to deliver our mail and packages during this difficult time. Know that you are appreciated.

I see that the Tigard Post Office has still not corrected their failure to answer their phone. This has been going on for over 2 years without resolution. The manager there should be fired!!! The main Portland Post Office answers their phone, why don't you. Apparently even the USPS Inspector General has no clout as others have requested action from that office without any change of behavior.

I have had 3 yrs of problems with USPS DELIVERY DRIVERS hitting our mailbox (shared) with a neighbor. I have exhausted every ounce of energy I have trying to reach the Tigard Post Office to report, complain and CORRECT this behavior by their employee's. I HAVE REPLACED OUR POST AND MY MAIL BOX TWICE. MY NEIGHBOR HAS REPLACED THE POST AND CEMENTED IT IN AS WELL! I have never been able to get through on the phone they list, furthermore my attempts at trying to stop the driver(s) who cause the damage (WITNESSED IN THE ACT) have also proved to be UN-successful They just drive off despite my yelling at them to STOP! I have filed a complaint with the USPS Inspector General Office and alerted them to the problem, by e-mail they referred me back to the TIGARD STATION. I DON'T NEED TO TELL YOU THE END RESULT of that. I CALLED 3 times with the same results! As of 8/06/19 my (our) mailboxes are lying on the ground and NO MAIL IS BEING DELIVERED. GOING TO TAKE A MORE DIRECT APPROACH FROM HERE! CALLING THE NEWS MEDIA & FILING POLICE REPORTS OF ANY FURTHER DAMAGE!

This is just to bad service. Heard knocking on my door, but before I came to the door the carrier already left. There was a note about a letter to be picked up on the office at NW 24th. Nothing about to who?? And we are living in a multifamily building. Went down to the postoffice at 24th and they said that this letter was somehow sent to Tigard. So they gave me a phonenumber where no one is answering, the only thing you get is s fax machine in your ear. Do your work and pick up the ******* phone!

I have tried calling the Tigard Post Office many times today. I waited on the line to speak to someone and when the phone rang so many times it transferred my telephone call over to the FAX line. I have bad hearing, but had to hear that loud buzz many times. I bought an emerald necklace for my daughter, which came from India, so had to speak with a person. My daughter never received two notices that the necklace was even there. I found out that it was scheduled to return to India. My daughter and her husband both work and cannot get over to the Post Office except on Fridays. Very bad service. She should have been able to receive at least one notice. I called the Portland office to ask them to hold off sending the necklace back. The gentleman was nice and took the info and is trying to delay them shipping it back to India. I would like to file a formal complaint for the service I received, except for the person who finally spoke to me from another office. I would like my daughter to be able to receive her necklace.

Terrible service! Carrier took back a certified letter leaving a notice that we were not home. We were home. We have a dog that would have raised an alarm if someone had knocked on the door or rung a bell. Much of the notice was illegible. Clearly hastily written. The tracking code was NOT keyed to the bar code. Obviously the carrier did not attempt to deliver to the house. Unable to reach this branch by phone or fax. Voice mail tells caller to stay on the line for customer service then bounces to a fax tone or a busy signal. Never trust this branch for anything important. Junk mail is delivered regularly.

Update: 2 days later. Dr's office who sent the registered letter sent a request to redeliver. I sent a request to redeliver. The post office is still not receiving faxes ("no answer") or answering phone calls and there is still no sign of the letter. Merry Christmas to the jerks who run Tigard Branch and the one who didn't deliver in the first place.

We recently had a huge mailer that had a deadline of the 15th. And even though all 4000 letters were already stamped and ready to go, they flat out refused to send them out as "they were too busy". This is absolutely unacceptable. Our business should not have to have went to another location (one capable of handling such a heavy load) to accommodate their schedule...IT IS THE JOB!!

The mailbox on our cul-de-sac has a significant gap in the streetside door where the carrier loads the mail into our assigned boxes. It is actually bowed out as if someone had tried to pry it open from the upper righthand corner of the door. The box for our house is directly adjacent to this gap, so that when I open our individual mailbox from the sidewalk side I can see the street through the gap. In the frequently stormy & inclement weather the last several weeks my mail has on occasion been soaking in standing water inside the box because the rain/snow blows in through this large gap. I had to dry my bills on the heater duct to even be able to open them, the glue on the envelopes was totally gone, & most of the paper contents were illegible and/or completely destroyed. A sign affixed to the mailbox directs us to report repair issues to the Postmaster. I have been trying to do this for 2 weeks without success. The phone number listed on this site is either incorrect or the phone is dysfunctional, because every single time it rings for several minutes then goes to a busy signal. We have generally had very good mail delivery in our neighborhood, but this is a different issue. What does it take to get the box fixed? Grrrr. I wrote a note requesting repair or replacement of the door, which our carrier said he would pass on to the appropriate person or department, but so far nothing has been done.

We realize, because of the weather recently, and Monday being a holiday, that mail service has been delayed. But when we're able to travel on the roads since Tuesday, why are we not getting our mail? Today is Thursday, and we haven't gotten our mail for a week. What happened to the Postman's Creed? We live on 92nd Ave, off Greenburg Rd, behind Washington Square. Even our neighborhood road has been travelable. Is our Postman sitting in a warm bar somewhere?

Many issues over the last 17 years including late and inconsistent daily delivery, holding mail and not delivering it, and package delivery not to our front door as examples. Now I can add no delivery at all. In my 60 years I have never had weather or anything interfere with mail delivery until now. This postal carrier just doesn't do his job.

Gentlemen,
We were absent from our ho[number removed] SW 106th Avenue - Tigard OR 97224 - from November 18, 2014 to January 10, 2015 and had the mail re-routed to 449 McGowan Lane in Brooklet GA 30415. We received the mail at that temporary address in good time, as far as we can judge. However, the various magazines were hardly ever received. During those 7 weeks, we received only 2-3 TIME issues, 2-3 SPORTS ILLUSTRATED, 1 PEOPLE, 1 ALL IN, 1-2 GOOD HOUSEKEEPING, no BAZAAR at all, 1 FORTUNE etc. I checked today with the TIGARD PO and they could not explain this lapse.
Without accusing anyone in particular, it would seem to me that this matter must have originated here in the Tigard PO, since they were the only ones to know that my mail was being forwarded.
I do not think this is acceptable, that we have basically lost almost 2 months worth of various subscriptions we have paid for.
Your comments on this would be apprciated.
Thank you and best regards
Pierre Rutz
