I received mail letting me know it was time to pay two annual fees for my business reply account. The fee is never listed so every year I have to call to find out the amounts owed. I call the number on the invoice, they can't access the information. They tell me to call the post office I use (Mutlnomah County Station on SW 40th Ave in Portland, OR). I call, wait on the line and then it disconnects. Doesn't matter what time I call during their business hours. USPS wants you to pay your bills online now, no more credit cards at the post office, but won't tell you what you owe without driving to your post office and waiting in line for someone to look it up for you. UNbelievable! No service whatsoever.

There is a really mean lady who works at the post office. She is like the soup ______ on Seinfeld. (won't allow me to say the word!)

I called this post office so many times with correct number above. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS; IT RINGS ABOUT 20-30 TIMES THEN STOPS! PATHETIC THAT CANNOT EVER SPEAK TO A PERSON IN THIS OFFICE.

I waited for the clerk for more than 30 minutes to process my overseas package. She couldn't do it and none of her associates would help. They just smirked. She tried 3 times and said the computer would not accept the address. I was sitting on the floor at the time because I was getting overheated. I took the package immediately to the Lake Oswego Post Office and it was accepted as is... no problem. They should not put untrained people in responsible positions.

The lady who processed my Passport told me that my kids (under the age of 16) needed Passports ($80 + $35 fee) to return back from Canada when we drive there is spring. I asked her twice does it make a difference if we drive because I know that they do if we were to fly and she told me it doesn't matter...they need passports! I went online and called US Customs and they told me I don't need passports for kids under the age 16 while traveling by land. We just needed to show birth certificates. I would have spent an extra $115 per kid if I listen to her.

Run by utter scum, I don't know who broke these people. Is this the post office where they send everyone that no one wants to work with? Have the decency to answer your phone. You're the only people who can actually sort out the issue, why not help me? On the off chance you do pick up the phone maybe don't just hang it right up? What the actual f*ck? So f*cking rude. When I go in everyone is short with me and they act like you're putting them out by asking them to do their job, like maybe actually look for more than a minute for my package. Just a thought.

I want to commend my carrier, Candace, who tracked down my missing mail then delivered to my door! A substitute carrier had put it in a neighbor’s mailbox by mistake. Thank you, Candace! You are a credit to the USPS!

I called to get some info. They said they would call me back in 32 40 minutes. An hour later they called, put me on hold to wait for an associate. 10 minutes later I spoke to an associate briefly, then she put me on hold. And the USPS phone system hung up on me. I know the USPO doesn't deserve to be in existence, and should be shut down immediately. This is a dinosaur department, wasting the taxpayer money and delivering Amazon parcels for free. Bull ****.

0 stars. We are a local business that has been in the neighborhood for over 30 years yet, for some reason, whenever there is a fill in, we don't get our mail; today, February 27, 2019 being another day without receiving mail. The mail we have waiting to be picked-up just sits. I have called three times today...NO ANSWER....AGAIN. This is an ongoing problem. It's very rare that someone answers the phone. Our regular mail carrier leaves notes and instructions when he is off but, the fill in still doesn't deliver and our outgoing mail will sit until someone finally makes it in to pick-it-up. It's not a difficult business to deliver to. I've called the main office. There is ALWAYS a wait time of over an hour. I've left messages with the automated service with a promise someone will return my call. I have NEVER received a call back. I don't know what has happened to the post office but, it's not like it was when my grandparents worked there. We are now looking for other ways to pay bills, send items, and send mail. We have notified everyone that USPS is too inconsistent with delivery and that we have no guarantee that we will receive mail and no guarantee that our mail will be picked-up. We have directed our vendors, suppliers and others to find other ways to send items to us. USPS needs to get it together.

One cannot send an email to usps that does not address predetermined topics, After entering zip code 97239 on usps website Multnomah Village PO does not appear but multiple commercial sites do. The phone for Multnomah Village PO does not answer. The wait time to speak with a usps representative was 40 min!

Cannot get through to a real person to discuss this on the phone: Of the nine pieces of mail delivered to our house today on SW Corbett, eight were not address to us. One piece was even delivered erroneously for the second time! Please hire mail carriers who can read.

Hello! I wanted to file a complaint about our mail carrier for SW Taylors Ferry Rd yesterday 1/19/2018. I received a notice to Please not Block the mailbox. Yesterday was recycling day and I made sure that the recycle bin was out of his way (keep in mind we only have about four feet of space for our bins and I pulled out bin as far away as I could from the mailbox). I happen to be outside when the mail carrier arrived and saw him hit our recycle bin which was full, which I can understand that can be fusterating, and left a huge mess all over the street without picking it up which therefor caused our recycling to not be picked up. On top of that, he did not take our outgoing mail and put the flag down. There have been numerous times where he has delivered packages and replies to my thank you with a dirty look. After yesterday, I feel inclined to inform someone at the station about this incident. Thank you for taking the time to read my complaint.

I had prescription medications sent to me from a mail order pharmacy. I wasn't home for the delivery so an attempted delivery notice was left. I went to the online redeliver service listed on the notice. Put in my very long tracking number to no avail. It didn't recognize it. So I called the 800 number and was put on hold for 45 minutes to reschedule a second delivery. The delivery never came. Scheduled a third delivery. As before, the online tracking service was a bust. Called the 800 number and put on hold for an hour to reschedule. Again the delivery never came. No notice, no show. Called a fourth time. Put on hold for a long time to learn the package was on its way and would be delivered that very day, and given the phone number for the local Multnomah Post Office. At last, I was getting somewhere. The package never arrived. So, I called the local Multnomah office. It rang and it rang and it rang. It rang so long I gave up. Called again. And again, it rang and it rang. It rang so long this time it disconnected me. Yes, I checked number. It was the the correct number. I called again. It was apparent, no one was ever going to answer. In one final feeble attempt to get my package, I tried to send an email through the website. Wouldn't let me.

I've tried to call this post office for two days to file a claim for a damaged package, and no one will answer the phone no matter the time I call. If anyone knows the name and number of the supervisor at this location, I'd sure love to have it!!!

This is the worst post office I have ever been too and unfortunately it is my local post office. I will drive miles out of my way to avoid this post office. They have packages delivered to me and closed my lost package issue # without telling me (more than once). They generally charge about $2 - $10 more to ship than any other post office in the area (know this is true because I often just leave when they try to charge me crazy amounts to ship even greeting cards). They have re-weighed my packages upon arrival and held them ransom telling me that the original post office did not charge enough. Average wait time is 10 -20 mins with average 2-3 people in line. Also...They also often send me "sorry we missed you cards" when I work from home and my office is open beside my front door. I am terrified of putting my name on this review because my mailman (when he delivers my packages) throws them as hard as he can at my front door rather than walking to my door

I was home at the time note (sorry, we missed you) was left at the door, no ring no knock. I believe your staff doesn't put in enough effort to get my attention and rather have me drive to the post office to pick the parcel up myself. I already had a number of bad experiences chasing after my deliveries. Calling the PO directly is useless, nobody ever picks up the phone. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER, DO YOUR JOB!!!

Hey, you folks have any plans to like, do your job? I mean, delivering mail is your only job, but I drove up the hill and down the mountain a couple of days ago to stand in line and pick up our mail, because we have bills to pay and stuff. Is it now too wet for your "couriers" to deliver mail? If so, why the heck are we compensating you folks? If you're this incompetent, I'm thinking it's time to disband your organization entirely.

It is hard to believe that mail could not be delivered today (January 18th) to SW Taylors Ferry and 48th Avenue. Even Portland Public Schools was operating. Our last delivery was on Tuesday, January 10th. I even saw a post office delivery vehicle in our neighborhood on Saturday, January 14th and thought we were going to be in luck. Come to find out, they were only delivering packages, not mail. Not sure why they can't do both with the same vehicle when the weather is not at its best. With this being the fourth storm in the past month, you think the post office could figure out to solve this problem.

No mail delivery in 7 consecutive days??not on a steep hill. 3 Amazon deliveries this week. Other areas like Beaverton chain up and deliver. Daily mail when it does come arrives after 5 pm if at all some days. I realize I have no choice. Why not cut Saturday delivery if staffing is problem.

I would like to file a formal complaint against our mail carrier for SW Parkhill Way and SW Parkhill Drive. Today is January 18th. We have not had USPS mail delivered to our neighborhood since 1/10/17 although streets ajacent to ours have been receiving their mail since as early as 1/12/17 and both Amazon and Fed Ex are making deliveries. The schools are back in session and everyone (except for our mail carrier, apparently) has returned to work. We live on paved city streets. I have made numerous attempts to speak with someone at the Multnomah Village post office but no one will answer the phone. This is utterly ridiculous and totally unacceptable.

I live in SW Portland, and the postperson left the back panels to the mailbox station completely open and clearly visible from the street. I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to alert someone to no avail. I closed the panels so it wouldn't be a open invitation to thieves, but without a key, I can't lock the pannels. This is just one of numerous problems.

Don't try to call these folks as they don't answer the phone. More than once they were unable to locate a package even though it was at their facility.

I wish they would only deliver my mail to me instead of everyone one else who loves on my block. Isn't it their job to read the address and deliver the correct mail to the right address. So if i am passing out all the mail on a daily shouldn't i be the one getting paid for doing their job. I tried to call but after 30 min of it just ringing, someone picked up and hung up on me... No wonder everyone hates the post office.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE PASSPORT DEPARTMENT!!! The supervisor by the name of GINA (red head w/ receeding hairline) was rude and awful. I am SHOCKED to actually receive this type of bad treatment as a customer and had the nerve to question me that babies are NOT supposed to be labeled as a "STUDENT" in school because I had addressed his school name on the passport documentation. She was not very nice to my mother as well when my mom had repeatedly asked the same question to make sure everything is correct and questioned my mother asking her if she is the mother or I am the mother (in a rude way) then said I should pay the fees because I am the mother. LOL Funny that she has a lot to say in a negative way when she claim she is in high position when I asked to speak to the manager. I will NEVER come back to this place ever again and will tell all my friends and family about this...worst experience ever!!! I hope this lady gets fired immediately. I will find my way to contact the top boss for that location.
