Talked to our mail deliverer this morning and she placed mail in our mail box but there was no mail to receive when we were there. Someone is stealing our mail out of our mailbox. Our address is 16353 Whitetail Ln.

I have the smallest PO Box size. The postal workers have ruined so many of the paperback books I order because I was told Friday by the person behind the counter "if they can get it in, they do". Books do not fit into a box this size! I was also told to "get a bigger PO Box if I didnt want my books bent". The fee for this size has gone up 25%!! We are not paying for service, nor a safe place to pick up our mail without it being ruined! What are we paying for?

I have NEVER in my entire life had worse experience than I do with this post office. You guys provide the absolute worst customer service I think that I have ever experienced. You guys are rude, you don't help people try and sort out issues with deliveries, you never answer your phones and you guys are overall the last people I ever want to deal with. I have had not 1, but TWO driver's license go missing trying to be delivered to my house. Funny thing is, they were never returned to the DMV, so where did they go???? I don't know. And that's pretty scary considering it's my ID. All that is, is an envelope. An ENVELOPE. It obviously didn't get put into any of my neighbors boxes because I would think that they all seem like good people out there and they would have brought it to me. I find it extremely hard to believe that it got stolen, out of my box, 10 minutes outside of La Pine and 20 minutes outside of Bend, TWICE. That's unlikely. And when I called about this, someone told me that they would have someone contact me ASAP and you know what happened? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. No one ever called me and no one ever did anything. Not to mention the COUNTLESS packages that I try to reschedule or see if there's another way to get it and you guys either don't respond, don't get back to me or just DO NOTHING. So what is it exactly that you guys do all day? I will be getting a PO box or trying to figure something else out if it means that I don't have to deal with these people anymore. I would rather drive 10 more minutes to get my mail from the post office in La Pine, than go out of my way to go to this post office to get mail or have a PO box. Period. I will not continue wasting my time with you guys and your awful customer service. You guys are a pathetic excuse for a post office and I will make sure every single person that asks me about your guys service, knows it.

Couldn't agree more. Countless experiences exactly the same. Why isn't this place shut down?

The staff at Sunriver has always been anything but friendly. I can't get my Amazon packages delivered to my house. They won't allow us to have a mailbox key. Then we discovered two pair of 'missing' pants I ordered, that they put into the mailbox, that had been there for a YEAR! Recently, I have been mailing important business mail and over and over I'm getting emails from recipients saying they aren't receiving the mail - TWO WEEKS after we mailed it at the post office. What are they doing with the mail?! I'm fed up with the Sunriver post office. It's no surprise it's failing and should be closed down.

Once again these lazy folks at the post office had my package returned to sender for the 5th god damned time. How hard is it to look at the last name and put it in the box it belongs to? Is that extra step that hard and taxing? As if you work a full 8 hours five days a week. The money I pay a year to have P.O box is NOT worth it.

I own a ho[number removed] Trader Lane. There is a group mailbox located on Blue Eagle Road. I had a key to a box but someone changed the lock. Who do I need to talk to about getting a new key. I will be selling the house sometime this year and the new owners will want a key for their mail box.

I second the comments by others. Called for information and she was just so rude. Replace her.

I had to stop in here during my vacation and, while waiting in line, 10+ people shared their stories of how rude the one lady (long gray hair & glasses) was. It was a joke. When I had the unfortunate opportunity to get her, she had already been extremely rude to the three people in front of me. Their requests for mail were clearly irritating the heck out of her and she made them very aware of this fact. She was so rude to me that I was speechless, as she flat out told me that she would not get me my package because "there were too many in the cage". What the heck? How is this woman still employed there if so many people have filed complaints, had poor experiences and the whole town knows about it. Do something about this! Be accountable for how your Postal Service employees are treating people. She is a BULLY and you are allowing this behavior. As a side note, the other dozen or so folks in line had a good laugh at the 5 star customer service rating sticker above the door. I'd recommend taking that down. It's completely untrue.

This post office returns to sender mail that is correctly addressed. I also don't receive my bills reliably due to post office. Wish I could contact them, but you have to wait on hold forever.

Most unfriendly and unhelpful place in the universe. The employees are rude and not helpful. They say rude comments to customers and are allowed to get away with it. The post office needs to clean house and start over with new employees in this office. It seems that when a new employee starts, they are friendly and helpful and because of the negative and hostile environment with staff workers it does not take long before they follow lead. If I had another option, I would be all over it. HATE to go in this place.

I checked on the tracking of an order and saw that it had been delivered to my PO Box and so I went down to pick it up but it was not in my box. So I went to the counter and asked about it and got a shrug and oh well. I asked if I should check back and she said sure. No offer of help of suggestions. Basically , I am out of luck. If they put it in the wrong box I hope the person will turn it back in. Couldn't believe the response. "not my problem" attitude. Such a surprising response from a staff that has been so great to work with. Guess I am "out of luck and will have to take the loss. Frustrated in Sunriver!

If I had a dime for every story I've heard just like this. Myself included.
