The Horrible United States Post Office. I get my mail at a USPS Locker on Heron Loop and Powers Rd. I went out today to get my mail and the whole thing is wide open. People’s mail, their locker keys for parcel delivery, the whole thing wide open. I tried to call USPS and the local number just doesn’t answer, rings and then cuts you off. I am so frustrated. There is a horrible culture of “we don’t want to talk to you and we don’t care”. Needs to be privatized ASAP. Horrible.

From Deschutes River Woods. Complaint : Our mail box lid is often left open. Last week 3 times. It is an undamaged box and can easily be closed. I know it is a hurry to deliver mail. But when we have bills and important personal information just sitting there for all to see, it is tempting for someone to steal it. Also it's not fun to dry out your mail from the snow or rain when your lid can be simply closed with little effort. Plead pass this to our local carrier. Thank you.

Awfull people who hate themselves and get off on abusing what little power they have are the people handling your mail and important packages. Use FedEx or ups! Is worth the extra 50.00!

They don't deliver a package to an address when it's clearly accessible and I'm home! Then they don't answer the phone when called about this issue that's happened several times!

I paid extra to have birthday supplies delivered today specifically and then I get a notice while waiting for them they they were unable to deliver due to not being able to get to the box. The mailbox in the apartments is clear and our mailbox has nothing in them and the big boxes are empty too. There is absolutely no reason they should not have delivered the packages. I better get my packages by tomorrow or I'm going to raise hell.

Bend, Oregon has the very worse USPS service in the country. Can post mail across the country and it will be delivered up to a week sooner than to Bend, Oregon. Same problem with anything leaving Bend, Oregon USPS. USPS needs to address this.

I have been trying to call customer service since 9am this morning and no one answers the phone. I went in to talk to someone in the customer service office at 5pm exactly and was rudely told by the older lady who works back there with blonde hair, that “we are closed at 5pm.” I then told her I’ve been trying to call and talk to someone all day, but no one answers the phone and I’m trying to find a package for my son’s birthday tomorrow. She looks at me and rudely says, “no, we are closed.” She didn’t even care and wasn’t willing to even give me 2 minutes of her time. Absolutely horrible people skills and could care less about customers. Their customer service is an absolute joke in the back office.

Missing a package which UPS tracking said was delivered on March 1st. UPS handed off package to USPS. Snow was not a problem as we had been receiving mail from the prior Tuesday, Feb. 26th. We had been receiving mail in late morning. And we had been collecting it before noon. No package on March 1st or March 2nd. What do I do now?

Package tracking scanned as pkg delivered to mailbox. No pkg or box key left in mailbox. This is the second time I have not received pkgs, both containing medicine! I have spent many trips jumping through hoops with the USPS Bend and story always the same: delivery person is innocent! BS!!!! Pkgs were never recovered, nor my $$!!!

My mailbox in Awbrey Glen is broken (standing open, lock broken) and I have informed the mail carrier and a maintenance type man who was present when I went to check the box--it still stands open and there is no mail inside-- did it get stolen? Did the mail person take it back to the office? No clue-- what can I do to fix this problem??

I am a disabled Veteran with a rare terminal illness and my wife is a rural carrier working out of the Bend Dcu. I have never heard of more poorly run organization in my life! If the average American knew of the absolute ignorance of the present management, they would be outraged! My wife and I are in our 50's yet when anything needs to be done they go to my wife. MY wife can literally do the work of three other carriers??? That's what they do to give my wife a day off, which is few and far between. She had to do " charity work " on Mother's day so Amazon could get through! They had her working on Father's day up to today, this with management in full knowledge of her having to care for her terminal husband! These same wizard's cant seem to complete the simplest of management task in order to have one of the Best carriers in this district get promoted! An IG Inspection Team needs to go through the Oregon/Washington district with a fine tooth comb! I guarantee that the public will be shocked with the finds. Thanks for listening to a concerned husband for his hard working wife, Eric V. Arbak

I have a complaint. I live in larkspur subdivision. There have been 2 times the mail boxes on Daisy ln & Larkspur loop have been left standing wide open. This is really unacceptable in this time of identity theft. Anyone can walk up & take mail/packages. Myself & another neighbor have gone through areas til we found a mail person to come & lock the boxes. I’ve tried to call but can never get through to talk to anyone. I hope this problem can be fixed.

Why has the Bend post office returned my Amazon orders to Amazon? A item ordered on 23 February was listed by the PO as DELIVERED on 2 March. However, when I went to the Bend PO on 10 March, I was told that the item, for some unknown reason, was returned to Amazon. A second item ordered on 3 March was returned to Amazon with the explanation that the recipient moved, which is not correct. Thinking there might be an issue because a family on our street has the same last name , I spoke with them this morning and was told that a similar thing is happening to them. So much so that they now pickup their mail at the PO. I was told that the route has a new mail carrier and I am wondering if that person has not been properly trained on his/her responsibility for delivering the mail or if the carrier finds it easier to just return the mail rather than getting out of the van to deliver it to the door of the recipient. If this is happening to two families, it seems logical to think it is happening to others. This is very frustrating because of the time lost in trying to resolve this issue, and the uncertainty of future mail delivery. I wait with great anticipation for a PO reply to this post.

Our new mail delivery person frequently does NOT deliver our mail until around 5 pm. Does that mean our outgoing mail does NOT really GO OUT that day?

So I go online to make my six month payment for my PO Box and credit card is charged and it posted to my account. Email was sent seconds after making payment which tells the amount, P O Box number, tracking number, next due date and the location of P O Box. Haven't been to my P O Boxes since the day before I paid it. Just today I get around to going and the box key was changed so I leave because I'm hot and did not want to make a seen there. I've been trying to call for over an hour but no answer, I guess I will have to go in. Why pay a bill if you are shut out and why have a number to call if your not going to answer.

Good thing you left. Making a scene would have been the wrong way to handle it. You made the right choice by leaving when you were 'hot'.

I drove 18 miles to get a letter sent out tonight as the web site said last collection time was 6:15 pm. Only to get to the post office and find last collection is 3:00 pm.
How about updating the web site?
