In over a year the postmaster has not responded to my two requests for hardship door delivery. This office does not answer its phone and did not respond to several service requests made by various usps customer service personnel. Something needs to change.

Sure are a lot of packages just not being delivered by your personel lately. Personel who seem disgruntled and frustrated with having to deliver Amazon and other packages from online orders. 4 orders inside of a month have not been delivered and have been reported as missing/ non-delivery even when the notice states "delivered." I'll be filing a formal complaint with one more missing package. you mail handlers need to do the job you're hired to do and without the attitude!!

The keys left inside our mailboxes (for deliveries) come with scratched off numbers done with marker and round stickers who's colors have rubbed off. Many people will jam the key into every mailbox until it fits and that probably isn't good for the key or the box. I know it's not just me because I've helped several neighbors out trying to figure out which box to open. Please find a better system so we know which key goes into which mailbox

We get a dozen or so orders weekly from companies including Amazon. Some of it is important equipment for repairs. The Sunriver P.O. refuses to hold our packages and send out a pickup slip. They claim they are undeliverable. The packages have both our P.O. Box and our street address depending on what method, USPS, FedEx / UPS, shippers ship by. So how are these not deliverable??? Typical government workers. Can't be bothered with a situation that requires minimal IQ or common sense.

I am on the north side of Bend, near OB Riley road. We have a cluster mailbox. I received a notice that a package was delivered, found the key for the package box, found a package addressed to someone else in there, took that package to the neighbor on another block and they had someone else's package, but not mine. It is like the USPS is delivering packages to random addresses now, just tossing the package locker keys into random mail slots. WTF?

I live in the Deschutes rivers woods and i am tired of getting my mail from the neighbors and delivering other people mail to them. MY BIGGEST GRIPE IS we have a cbu, cluster mail box centrally located for everyone to use, I have had multiple packages that were stuffed in so tightly i spent 10 minutes digging them out, Mr. mail guy when a package is too big to fit in the normal slot put it in the bigger box like you're suppose too. Your job isn't that hard, at least try to not damage anything and for gods sake quit being so lazy and do it right.

I have kept my mouth shut with ALL the problems at Sunriver post office and have just listened to others complain. I had four packages at the post office and they were closed due to sickness. I was understanding until I went in to pick them up and they had sent two of them back because it was over their time that they kept them. I drove in town twice to get the packages and they were closed with nothing on line about them being closed. I am beyond frustrated with this poorly ran post office.

I recently had 2 packages that were supposed to be delivered and in our mail box. I never received either package. 2 weeks ago one of our neighbors brought 3 packages of our delivered to their house. Not next door several streets away. This needs to be rectified.

I don’t understand how USPS is still in existence!! I read all the reviews below and I could put each and every one of those complaints in this email. Other people’s mail, box left open so all my mail gets wet ( despite a note left for the carrier). Mail gets to me a month late, boxes left on my mailbox on a rural road....or in the dirt somewhere near my box, no one answers the phone...though they say hold, it just goes to busy signal. I’m assuming they don’t read these either, they just don’t care so I say get rid of this pretend mail delivery system!!!

For the last 2.5 months or so, my block gets skipped by the mail man 1 to 2 times per week. Not just my house, the entire block. I think that 0we are that drivers last couple stops because they don’t deliver until 6 - 630 pm. Also, I have had 4 packages from Amazon disappear. I track them online and it will say “delivered” then I go look (always within 60 minutes of “delivered” status) and there is nothing there. One of those times, the package did eventually come...8 days later. Today it’s 639pm and the mail person has not come. I have been watching.

I was told a week ago that there were specific people that handled gang boxes and mail boxes for 1 residence. And another person that handled placements in our HOA or one residence of the above. Could I get contact info for those 2 people?? Thank you, Bud Barr, 63148 Riverstone Dr. Bend, OR, 97703

I live in NE Bend and have my mail delivered to a cluster box. That number on the box is 1439 A. The individual boxes within this cluster can fit a small box IN to the front of the cluster box where it is delivered but then it can not be retrieved out the customer side because of the design of the cluster box. Almost monthly I receive one such package and can not get it out my side. I then leave a note for the following day to have it moved to a larger package box. Yesterday it happened again. I left a note to have it moved and the reply was that both package boxes were full and could not be moved. REALLY? What’s wrong with bringing it to my door then? I don’t get it. So, again I will add another note asking the mail person to bring it to my door if the boxes are full. How can we as neighbors not have to have small boxes even attempted to be delivered just to have to have it moved by request. Mine is medicine by the way and I always have delays because of this.

Usually I get mail perfectly fine, but the last month and a half I either don’t get my mail or they put it in the wrong persons box and they don’t look at it and send it back. Plus we get our neighbors mail all the time, not the same ones different people on the street. I just don’t understand what’s so hard with checking the numbers on the mail instead of just putting it anywhere

I called the local phone number to the 4th street location in Bend this morning, November 2, 2020. It rang until it went to a busy signal. Really? Is there no one there that can answer a phone? I'm truly not happy over this. I had a question that would have taken one minute to answer...

Very unimpressed with how they put other people mail in my mailbox, even after we got the little card that says ONLY THESE PEOPLE AT THIS ADDRESS. This has been going on for almost a year now, I've called 3 separate times and was told there's nothing they could do about it. Considering I'm getting someone else's mail, I'm hoping my neighbors haven't received my fiance's stimulus and taxes that we've been waiting on receiving! Ridiculous customer service, local number never answers.

Postal worker has either kept or put the key to the lockbox in another mailbox. Valuable package it was. I'll be filing multiple complaints. It's not the first time, I'll try not to use USPS again. Plus, I keep getting boxes from china.......quit delivering things to me from scamming china.

Postmaster, I have had 2 packages from China delivered to my gangbox, but not my mailbox. one was on 6/18/20, and the other one today, 7/18/20. I spoke to the attendant at the Wilson St office both times, and verified that they were delivered by the tracking numbers. You have either a thief or an incompetent carrier. The packages were identical, so if he took it the first time, he probably took it today, as well. Please respond to this email. I also plan to file a complaint to P.O Investigators since this is obviously a chronic problem. Thank you, Kenneth Cates 21173 Azalia Ave. Bend, OR 97702 541-420-2624

The Horrible United States Post Office. I get my mail at a USPS Locker on Heron Loop and Powers Rd. I went out today to get my mail and the whole thing is wide open. People’s mail, their locker keys for parcel delivery, the whole thing wide open. I tried to call USPS and the local number just doesn’t answer, rings and then cuts you off. I am so frustrated. There is a horrible culture of “we don’t want to talk to you and we don’t care”. Needs to be privatized ASAP. Horrible.

From Deschutes River Woods. Complaint : Our mail box lid is often left open. Last week 3 times. It is an undamaged box and can easily be closed. I know it is a hurry to deliver mail. But when we have bills and important personal information just sitting there for all to see, it is tempting for someone to steal it. Also it's not fun to dry out your mail from the snow or rain when your lid can be simply closed with little effort. Plead pass this to our local carrier. Thank you.

I paid extra to have birthday supplies delivered today specifically and then I get a notice while waiting for them they they were unable to deliver due to not being able to get to the box. The mailbox in the apartments is clear and our mailbox has nothing in them and the big boxes are empty too. There is absolutely no reason they should not have delivered the packages. I better get my packages by tomorrow or I'm going to raise hell.

Bend, Oregon has the very worse USPS service in the country. Can post mail across the country and it will be delivered up to a week sooner than to Bend, Oregon. Same problem with anything leaving Bend, Oregon USPS. USPS needs to address this.

I have been trying to call customer service since 9am this morning and no one answers the phone. I went in to talk to someone in the customer service office at 5pm exactly and was rudely told by the older lady who works back there with blonde hair, that “we are closed at 5pm.” I then told her I’ve been trying to call and talk to someone all day, but no one answers the phone and I’m trying to find a package for my son’s birthday tomorrow. She looks at me and rudely says, “no, we are closed.” She didn’t even care and wasn’t willing to even give me 2 minutes of her time. Absolutely horrible people skills and could care less about customers. Their customer service is an absolute joke in the back office.

Did the mail person take it back to the office? No clue-- what can I do to fix this problem??

I am a disabled Veteran with a rare terminal illness and my wife is a rural carrier working out of the Bend Dcu. I have never heard of more poorly run organization in my life! If the average American knew of the absolute ignorance of the present management, they would be outraged! My wife and I are in our 50's yet when anything needs to be done they go to my wife. MY wife can literally do the work of three other carriers??? That's what they do to give my wife a day off, which is few and far between. She had to do " charity work " on Mother's day so Amazon could get through! They had her working on Father's day up to today, this with management in full knowledge of her having to care for her terminal husband! These same wizard's cant seem to complete the simplest of management task in order to have one of the Best carriers in this district get promoted! An IG Inspection Team needs to go through the Oregon/Washington district with a fine tooth comb! I guarantee that the public will be shocked with the finds. Thanks for listening to a concerned husband for his hard working wife, Eric V. Arbak

I have a complaint. I live in larkspur subdivision. There have been 2 times the mail boxes on Daisy ln & Larkspur loop have been left standing wide open. This is really unacceptable in this time of identity theft. Anyone can walk up & take mail/packages. Myself & another neighbor have gone through areas til we found a mail person to come & lock the boxes. I’ve tried to call but can never get through to talk to anyone. I hope this problem can be fixed.

Why has the Bend post office returned my Amazon orders to Amazon? A item ordered on 23 February was listed by the PO as DELIVERED on 2 March. However, when I went to the Bend PO on 10 March, I was told that the item, for some unknown reason, was returned to Amazon. A second item ordered on 3 March was returned to Amazon with the explanation that the recipient moved, which is not correct. Thinking there might be an issue because a family on our street has the same last name , I spoke with them this morning and was told that a similar thing is happening to them. So much so that they now pickup their mail at the PO. I was told that the route has a new mail carrier and I am wondering if that person has not been properly trained on his/her responsibility for delivering the mail or if the carrier finds it easier to just return the mail rather than getting out of the van to deliver it to the door of the recipient. If this is happening to two families, it seems logical to think it is happening to others. This is very frustrating because of the time lost in trying to resolve this issue, and the uncertainty of future mail delivery. I wait with great anticipation for a PO reply to this post.

So I go online to make my six month payment for my PO Box and credit card is charged and it posted to my account. Email was sent seconds after making payment which tells the amount, P O Box number, tracking number, next due date and the location of P O Box. Haven't been to my P O Boxes since the day before I paid it. Just today I get around to going and the box key was changed so I leave because I'm hot and did not want to make a seen there. I've been trying to call for over an hour but no answer, I guess I will have to go in. Why pay a bill if you are shut out and why have a number to call if your not going to answer.
