How do I get the Waterford Post Office to deliver a package? The package arrived at the post office, according to USPS Tracking, on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2021 at 7:45 a.m. It is now Friday, Feb. 19, 2021 a.m. and the package hasn't budged. I called twice -- once I got cut off and the second time, the phone rang and rang and then I got a busy signal. I'd really like to have the package delivered. The recipient will be 88 years old on Feb. 25 -- this was supposed to be a Valentine present -- mailed from Concord, NH on February 9, 2021...

I received an email from Amazon that my package had been delivered by USPS. Looked on the back porch, front porch, garage and found no package. Next morning found it!! It was thrown in a snow bank. Awesome customer service!! I didn't expect much more. UPS and FedEx are better at delivering package. USPS should stick to envelopes. Boxes are too confusing for them.
I wish Waterford would get some steady carriers over here. Our regular carrier is out a lot, and we are seeing a steady stream of new faces. For the most part, they are fine, but they don't seem to understand that not all houses in the Village have mail boxes. We only have a mail slot, and to put outgoing mail in the slot, when the weather is warm and the door is open, it gets over looked. While we have to chase down covering carriers to take the out going mail, we have never had an issue with them nearly refusing to take it because it wasn't in a mailbox. This carrier rudely asked if I didn't know where the mail boxes were, and when I explained to him that we have never had an issue, and that our regular carrier, and every other one, always picks up from the hallway, he took the mail, but commented that he was going to have to check out that. I told him to go right ahead. I have lived here for 37 years, and never, ever had this problem. I just hope my mail makes it it's destination, now. Rant over, and glad to moving in a few weeks.
Really tired of Waterford post office not delivering Sunday packages like they are supposed to. This is the 3rd Sunday out of the last 4 sundays where they were lazy and didn't deliver and said "no access". Our porch is always open so there is ALWAYS access. Waterford does the Sunday package delivery in Mechanicville where I live. Sometimes I specifically order packages that come on sundays and they always blow us off and then we have to wait until our normal carrier gets here between 3 and 4 PM on Monday. Waterford post office is a joke, so your jobs for Sunday package delivery!
