We made an appointment to process a passport application for our son, working around his nap schedule. I asked about photos and they said the photographer will answer any questions. Well, we get there, and they don't do photos. And their hours on the website are wrong, the hours on the front door are totally different. When we looked to the counter person for any advice on getting photos, she just said go to CVS. Didn't say where CVS was. And was totally indifferent, never apologized for the mix-up, so we cancelled the appointment and left without accomplishing anything, which is difficult when you have a baby. She was a totally beaurocratic, unhelpful civil servant, totally useless, no sense of customer support.

If you had done your research, you would have known they don’t take photos, and that you should come in with an acceptable photo. It seems to me like the person was trying to be helpful by offering you a place that can take passport photos. Entitled much?
