Horrible place. Customer service is non-existent. The woman who is always at the counter is smug and nasty. They offer no answers for an issues you may have and just keep telling you to go to Rahway. Trying to call a head? That's a joke. No one EVER answers the phone. I needed to pick up a package that was being held (according to tracking at Clark- and despite the fact I never asked it to be held). I called 16 times and no one answers the phone. When I arrived the woman smugly and rudely told me "Go to Rahway". When I asked her why no one answered the phone, because it could have saved me a trip there, she replied" because its at Rahway".
I can't even tell you how many problems we have had with this USPS location because I've lost count. It’s start with lost packages (which most of the time they cannot locate them), held packages, mail bins being misplaced, missing mail or receiving the wrong mail (mail that belong to other people/address) and Susan one of your staff is so rude and unprofessional.
Clark post office never answers the phone and when someone finally picked up the phone, they will place you on hold for more than an hour or don’t pick up.
THEY JUST DON'T CARE. The worst is when we order something online and it's transferred from UPS/FedEx to USPS. The packages are always right on track until transferred to our local Clark/Rahway Post Office! Then you just cross your fingers that you'll see your mail.
Clark post office has the worst service ever. I has call Rahway office 732-388-3264 and spoke to Jim/James (manager). And nothing was done!!!
This place needs better manager or staff.
Saturday oct 12 12:30pm I was driving with my kid on Rarotonga and Westfield ave When this postman with gray dreadlocks was running across the street While red light was his trying to get to bank on corner I drove pass and said to him you should wait for the light to Change his response f*** you and gave me middle finger In front of my children and me Very angry postman I know this cant be a shock To who ever reads this
