Went in to the Jefferson Memorial location today and was treated poorly by the man behind the counter. This is not the first time he has given me attitude. All I had on my was $20 cash to pay for my one stamp. He asked if this was the smallest bill I had and unfortunately it was. He then asked if I was in there to get a stamp or if I just came in there to buy a stamp so he would make change for me. I thought this was entirely rude since I legitimately had a letter to mail (he actually place the stamp on my letter). I chuckled and thought nothing of it until later when, at another place of business, I noticed he had shortchanged me by $1. Since I had paid with cash I had already thrown my receipt away and I thought he would have given me more trouble than what the $1 was worth. I felt that since he had mentioned something to me about receiving change, that he shortchanged me on purpose. I know I should have checked the money before I left but hindsight is 20/20. I just know next time to use the Post Office at Tucker and Olive.
