Linwood MI post office - much to be desired. Not sure if staffing issues, etc. I've called and let the phone ring only for it to be picked up and hung up. called back and no answer 12/28/18 at 1535. I've called and received a busy signal for over an hour. When packages are not delivered there is no tracking code left on the sheet. Call the 800 number and no one can help...based on no information on the unable to deliver slip. Slip not filled out completely in regards to "hold until XX? date". When went into the post office no one could find my package. Returned a different day and advised that it was sent back. There's no way for me to note who the delivery person was to even include this information when inquiring about my mail. I've lived at current residence since 2010 and this has been recurrent (wouldn't say "consistent", but enough issues that I've finally had it). Please consider hiring additional staff if needed or evaluate current staff process/competencies. I'm also a Federal employee. This is disheartening. I've not had issues with prior residences (not Linwood post office), not do I currently have any similar issues with Fed Ex.
