I have gone to Franklin post office multiple times.Once inside the front door I see a sign " closed for lunch". It never says when it closed, for how long or when it is reopening.
It is extremely frustrating because the same sign i have seen at 1 pm, 2 pm and even at 3 pm.
Multiple customers i encounter express the same frustration.
One day when i raised the issue with the postal person inside
she said " we are short staffed".
Why aren't Priority Mail labels available in the lobby in the display racks? I've been at the location numerous times without supplies available. Today, I asked for the labels and was told to write the address directly on the box! In fact, the employee did have labels beneath the counter.
Several items of mail put in the post box in front of the post office Never reached their destination... this has happened to myself, my wife and a few friends. I am firmly convinced their is a long term employee deliberately throwing out outgoing mail on a regular basis due to psychological problems/ resentment etc... please respond to this or I will contact the regional postmaster for help. I have never had an item of outgoing mail "missing" from any other post office mailbox. My instincts tell me a sick individual is purposely doing this!
I tried calling the Southfield post office phone number 248-368-2977 it rang and then would say "no greeting has been recorded transferring you to an attendant" I waited 5 minutes while it would ring and repeat that. I finally hung up. Not only that I will go a few days with
