Every time I place a vacation hold the mail isn't delivered to me when the hold ends for almost a WEEK after the hold ends. Sometime I have to call the USPS Anex on Van Born Rd to get them to deliver the held mail. Even then it may take another week before I receive the mail. I have had it take almost 2 weeks before the mail is delivered. If I call the Annex I get put on hold while the agent is checking to see where my mail is & I might be on hold for almost 45 minutes before they get back to me & then I have been told that the mail is out for delivery but for some reason it does not arrive for another 4-7 days. Due to work I sometimes I have to use the hold several times a year & the results are most often the same as explained. A few time last year I would get home from work travel & my mailbox is completely over flowing with mail that wasn't supposed to be delivered until the next day. That mail was ALL delivered during the supposed HOLD.

I called the Annex 35 minutes ago and the guy went to check on my mail told me he would be right back. 36 minutes later I used my other phone to call the annex again as I was still on hold. The new guy that answered also put me on hold while he went to check on my mail. another 10 minutes and counting but nothing yet.

We are very upset with the postal delivery twice this year and maybe 3rd time we had to pay a $30 fee to cancel our checks to pay to our bills and one still lost back at the end of March and it was in a holiday card with a check! It never made it to its destinations. How can it get lost being dropped off at a mailbox at the end of our street? We can’t trust any mailing going out. Tried of the mail being lost. And also not getting mail delivered every day I have informed mail and sometimes the mail doesn’t show up until 2 days later! Please do something about!

I would just plain out fire everyone in Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, and the Taylor postal operations. I mean everyone right down to the office managers everyone involved starting from the top. Start with fresh employee's that have some respect for, us there clients who pay there salary.

I find the delivery service Poor for the 48125 area, Do you just dont Care? I'm constantly receiving other peoples mail. if it is a neighbor on my block I hand deliver it if elsewhere i place it back in my mail box and hope the Postal system corrects the error. If I don't receive mail I usually find out by an Over due notice or cancellation of service notice. I have Missed Court notification, Billings and other statements. I just found out that my Home insurance was canceled be cause I did not receive the statement in May glad I didn't find out after a fire claim. Please Improve your service it holds a higher value to the customers then you place on it or care to provide.
