Ordered a package at the beginning of December. Was from the UK, so expected delays in shipping. However, it was said to be delivered Dec 23rd but apparently had to be signed for so was not left, and was brought back to USPS. I called numerous times, using the form that was left by currier, and site NEVER allowed to finish through the redelivery page, or choose pick up, it was a grayed out submit button. Upon finally getting a representative, I was sent a link for the form to fill out, and was told I could have it redelivered with no signature, or pick up, so I gave it a shot, then the holidays and inclement weather happened, so I decided to send my husband in to pick up the package (again with the form left by currier originally). He has gone in a total of FOUR times, told each time "they were backed up and there are thousands of packages to go through" and had a manager take down both mine, and my husbands contact information and would reach out for pick up. It is now January 2nd and they attempted to REDELIVER to my home, at 1pm where we are both working, and it was again I assume brought back to the post office where we will go through all this mess again. I am so frustrated, and don't understand why this has become such a process. We authorized pick up, we authorized redelivery, my husband was PHYSICALLY in the post office 4 times and was told he would be reached out to when the "thousands" of packages were sifted through. I will be going in tomorrow and will not leave until I receive my package in hand.
There is no reason for my package to be undeliverable except postman to lazy to get out of vehicle.. frustrating when you are expecting a package intime for a birthday and delivery keeps getting delayed...
I heard that packages are being taken home by workers that are not able to be sent for some reason. I read that they should be returned to company or who sent it and not to take home by post office clerk. My friend is missing a package and office doesn't answer. Hoping that's not what happened just wanted to let someone know. Thank you
I'm in search of a package that states it was delivered at locked mail boxes on Feb 15th 2021. I've tried for 5 days to contact post office, no one answers the phone!! I've left notes on the mail box asking where my package is. I've tried to file missing package via on line but the web site freezes and doesnt send request. I've done this 3 times. I've called the ASK help line, filled out the form and again all it does is give me the same info...package tracking results! How do you even get a hold of the post office??
I am not sure if this true but someone told me some employees were taking home lost or undelivered packages from gray. Isnt That illegal? Maybe want to look into that.
Within the past 2 years of residing in Gray, I have had more issues with my mail than ever before. My packages have been delivered to the wrong location on multiple occasions and it seems I have to track down my mail/packages more often than not. When trying to contact the post office to inquire about my missing packages they do not pick up the phone (even during normal business hours). This is by far the most unreliable postal service.
