Hi, I am working on shoveling out my mailbox. I was away and there is so much ice I can't get to it, Also, the town snowplow broke my box. If mail is not being delivered where can I pick it up? It has not come for about a week.

They delivered a package today that isn't mine.. I had to call 4 times to get through due to no answer.. All I found out was Cumberland doesn't do the delivering, Yarmouth does.. The guy gave me a new number for Yarmouth that seems to go no where.. It is to bad that the package is "Priority" ... Maybe the customer will call asking where his priority package is.. Did you ever wonder why the US Mail system is failing and probably going to go out of business ???

I'm a disabled law enforcement officer who currently has a prosthetic leg. My delivery guy is too lazy to bring a package to my door for a signature but will take the time to fill out the "signature required " form and leave it in my mailbox. Of course now I have to wait a full day (weather dependant) to have to go to the Cumberland Post Office and pray that the package is there and not in Yarmouth. Great job guys and it makes me wish I would have clamped down on traffic enforcement with you.

Tired of repeatedly having poor mail delivery service in Cumberland. Get everybody's mail but my own delivered to my home. Three days in the last two weeks we have received mail postmarked in early August and this is now Sept. 18th ! When my daughter questioned it at the post office the guy told her "Your guess is as good as mine" . Unfortunately her payroll stubs come in the mail and she was missing them for the whole month of August. Unacceptable

It is regrettable that cuts in USPS budgets have led to the total loss of polite and helpful service at the Cumberland Post Office. The once friendly, positive and exceedingly helpful staff who served appropriately for manY years have been replaced by rude and lazy. The postmistress is surly and appears to offer little assistance. At Christmas one window was open with a line that snaked out the door...when asked why she couldn't open the second window and help (she didn't appear to be doing more than standing around) she snarled, " because we are understaffed"! Several local people in line, like myself, looked at each other and remarked...wish we could return to the good old days!!! Serious need for staff attitude adjustment!
