Went to pick up the mail today as I have been expecting a package. Imagine my surprise when I unlock my box and bend down to pull out my mail only to see that the back side of the mail box unit was open. Mail carrier did not lock it back after filling everyone's mail boxes. So no one's mail/packages are safe in that unit. As I only go once a week to pick up the mail I'm note sure how long it has been that way. As I only had three pieces of mail I'm very concerned becuase I always have way more than that.

I can say without any doubt that Lothian Post Office and its employees are to worst I have ever dealt with. I have lived in Lothian foe 20yrs and for 20yrs I have been fighting with them to deliver mail only addressed to me and my family, not someone that lived here more than 20yrs ago or other persons living in Lyons Creek. I have made so many requests for them to stop destroying my medication packages. I can say I have spoken to them at least 100 time and nothing ever improves or changes. They are rude and disrespectful. I get the same stupid answer, my rout doesn't have a regular carrier because no one wants it. It seems like they change postmasters every few weeks. They flat out refused to relay messages to the postmaster, nor will they return a call. Hell, most of the time they will not even answer the phone, They get paid a lot of money to do a job that none of them want to do. And I have also found out that if you file a complaint with their main office in DC you get the same disgraceful service.

I received a notice that the post office attempted to deliver my package but no one was home. I have been home waiting on my package and no one from the post office came here. I also have a dog that barks when someone comes or pulls up in front. This is not the first time and I am handicapped I know it was not our regular lady she will blow the horn and wait for me to get down the ramp. Lothian service is really bad

I decided to try the Lothian Post Office again. Big Mistake. The clerk was rude and condescending, again and I needed help on sending an overseas package.. Not only that, their counter pen didn’t work. Supplies were not out and available. Never again. I’m going to Tracey’s, Deale or Dunkirk from now on.

I live in a mobile home park. My address is 284B. My neighbors address is 284. My name is Michelle. His name is Michael. I get his mail and he gets mine. This has been going on for 5 months and the post office has not correct it.

My mail person shoves packages in so you can barely get them out. Today a 5 pack of rice was shoved in and rice boxes were torn open. I’m disabled and I order what I can online. It’s not the first time and contacting them doesn’t help

I receive mail from another household ALL THE TIME. (we have the same house number, not the same street or the same community) I am continually returning it to this post office and they don't fix the issue. I have put the flag up for them to pick the items up and they leave it in the box. I even call and speak to the post master and tell her the mail is still in the box….its still there 3 days after I talk to her! For months we had issues with the mail person leaving our packages at the neighbors house rather then bring them to our house. Its just one thing after another, but the delivery of someone elses mail, including their medications, to our house repeatedly is just unacceptable! There is no talking to anyone down there. They will tell you they will fix the problem and do NOTHING. The message below says that they got a notice a package was delivered and it wasn't, trust me, we have had that happen MORE THEN ONCE and the package never showed up---guess its at the other house since their mail is here!
