For the last 30+ years we have had Jack deliver the mail in our main st, London road area. He is retiring 8/1/23 and will be deeply missed by those who have had the pleasure to know him. That being said the persons replacing him, and this weekend in particular have to go! I witnessed this person literally dump a package on the ground rather than put in mailbox or put on recipient’s doorstep. Yesterday , in the course of my own mail, during the heavy rain and wind I had a package also dumped on the street under the mailbox, into a flowing puddle. It was a soft package that could have been folded into the mailbox, OR AT VERY LEAST PUT ON MY PORCH OUT OF THE RAIN! My items were soaked !!!! JACK ALWAYS HAD THE COURTESY TO PUT ANY PACKAGES THAT WOULDN’T FIT INTO THE MAILBOX ON THE PORCH. Common courtesy, None. And I repeat NONE OF THOSE COVERING JACKS ROUTE HAVE THE MINDSET OR COURTESY TO DO THE SAME! What kind of people are you hiring? Where’s the dedication to do the job right. Please REALLY TRAIN , in this case RETRAIN the “newbies”
