I have declared the Independence KY USPS the VITACOST black hole. Every time an order passes through this post office, it disappears!!! After reading other reviews, my goodness, even the locals declare their incompetency!! Long since overdue to take action from the higher ups!!!

I live in Independence KY for the past 20 years my neighbor has lived in this two family for the past 6 years. There two mailboxes side by side marked with our last name on the inside of the mailbox lids and our apartments A and B on the outside. The mail is seldom delivered to the right mailbox. Lately I’ve been getting the mail from the next street over. My mail has been delivered damaged and sometimes opened. Can anyone tell me who’s responsible for this shabby mail delivery. Or at least who I can notify about this.

I cannot complain strongly enough about the shoddy mail service we have received over the years! Mail that was delivered to a neighbor, mail delivered open, magazines delivered open and containing popcorn that someone was eating while they read MY mail. I just received two envelopes that should have contained stock information. Both were open and one was empty! Who now has my account numbers? Is the post office going to be responsible for any losses I may incur?

Our mail person doesn't bother to close the mailbox which results in my mail being found in the backyard, neighbor's yard and on Saturday, I found a package addressed to me half way down the sidewalk. As if that isn't enough, she regularly delivers my mail to my neighbor who is kind enough to bring it over to me. What sloppy work. With all of the unemployed, I'm sure someone would happily take this job and actually take pride in doing their job correctly. I have a feeling it's the same mail lady as described in other complaints. It appears the post master doesn't care and won't address the issue since there's been multiple complaints.

The regular carrier for the Independence post office is terrible! Misdelivers packages and mail. Switches keys for the community big box bins. Ever since she has been on this route we have had issues. I've called the post master and expressed my concerns and it has done no good. Today, once again, it appears she has left my package on someone else's doorstep. This is so very frustrating!

The mail carrier that I have is a complete idiot I have a package stuck in my locked mailbox at the top of my street It is a Christmas present for my granddaughter there are two tops in a plastic shipping bag she has stuffed in there. Called post office demanded that she or someone come back out and get it out for Me. And here's the kicker I did not pick up my mail yesterday because it was pouring down rain there was a key in my mailbox for the package box she could have just grab that key and put it in the same box as the other package but no that would have been too easy, if these two items are damaged she is paying for them.

I am sick and tired of my packages being left on my driveway by the garage because some lazy delivery driver will not put the packages on my covered porch like they used to. This is 2 packaged now of contents ruined because they sat in the rain. Who can I talk to about getting this corrected?

We were wondering why our mail carrier and time of delivery changed, for years we would receive our mail no later than 11am now it comes as late as 5pm!

Sad that mail is being returned to sender. Post Office confirms that all information in system is correct but on multiple occasions, important mail has been returned. This has been happening for over a year now. Response from post office...sorry I couldn't help you. USELESS! What's the point of having a postal system if you can't get your mail and the local office can't help?

It is sad how incredibly rude the staff are here. So many people out of work and this is the best you can do. So sad.
