I called this morning for assistance with a package that UPS delivered to the wrong local post office and was treated very rudely. The lady who took my call needs to learn what customer service is. If I get her when I call back at 9 am, after they are done sorting packages, I will be getting her name and placing a formal complaint.

The Merrillville, In post office has changed the drop off mailboxes. You cannot put mail into those new boxes from your car. You have to get out of your car and walk up to the mailbox. They told me the boxes were changed for security reasons. Unfortunately, this change has made it very difficult to send mail as the mailman does not pick up mail to go from my home box. My home box is a block from my home.

This is by far the laziest kind of people on the planet working at this office. Dont deliver packages when it says out for delivery, lie to customers, and never is held accountable for their crappy service. Something needs to be done.

I am disappointed in the carrier that services my area. If we do not have mail then the carrier does not stop. Now we are a business and whether we have mail coming in or not, we do have mail going out. Please stop and ask. If you would rather then, go thru the drive. Thanks.

Don't trust this post office - 1) my nephew never received the birthday card and check I sent him in June AND, around the same time my bank account info was stolen. 2) 2 2 day packages I sent on Dec 18th never arrived at their destinations. 3) 1 of the replacement packages I sent is taking 5 days, not 2 days to get to its destination - even though I paid for 2 day!! 4) the other replacement package arrived at its destination this time, but the package was opened when received and not all the contents were in the box.
