The postmaster has instructed the carriers to not deliver mail. Claims it is too dangerous for them to drive around a one lane barrier. It says “closed to THRU traffic”. Residents, FedEx, UPS, Amazon Prime go around it but USPS not allowed. Strange that she believes the carriers are not capable. With more road closures coming this summer, will anybody get their mail delivered? More residents will have to get out on the road to go pick up their mail in the afternoon. So much for safety!
While deliverying the mail the person driving the mail truck hit our mail box. You can't close the frount of the mail box and the whole thing is twister. Is the post office going to replace this. Why didn't the mail person stop and let someone know. I live at 10461 Player Street, Crown Point
We Have not had Mail Service twice this week and Delivery is now
Past 6:00 PM-It appears the Postal Service uses our Street as an Afterthought or Training Area-Greenview Place, Crown Point, Indiana-We Feel this is not acceptable-Please Respond to Ronald Schutz
