I AM SO MAD I LIVE AT 1440 W CENTRAL PARK AVE AND I WILL REPORT THIS AS YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PICK UP MY MAIL WHEN YOU DELIVER MAIL AND YET MY OUT GOING MAIL WAS LEFT EVEN THOUGH MY IN COMING WAS DELIVERED

I’m extremely disappointed in our mail service today. Our usually mail carrier stops daily and plays with our dog. Our mail carrier today was a substitute mail carrier and our dog saw the mail truck and did what he does each day. He ran to the mail carrier. The dog aka puppy still wanted to engage. The mail carrier ran in the street and yelled “seriously, he’s not in a leash!” We tried to tell her he’s a puppy and plays with the mail carrier. I am unaware of why I am not receiving ALL only some of the thing that i have ordered and not received. My mail is on general delivery and id like to keep it that way however I feel as tho some of it may be rerouted to a different address. I would appreciate u looking into this for me and ensure that my ALL mail is being held at the post office in Davenport Iowa. I was going to put in a new change of address however wasnt sure if it was necessary. I appreciate your time and patience in this matter.

So disappointed. Sent a Valentine to a student at Palmer. This card included a $25 Starbucks gift card. I knew after I sent it I forgot the apt number so have been waiting for it to be returned. Actually got the open card MINUS the gift card returned from the post office. When they couldn’t deliver, someone opened the card and took the gift card and still wasted their time to send the opened card back to me. I know I shouldn’t be shocked, but I’m speechless.

I have been waiting for a letter since last week and where it is coming from said I should of received it by now. Also I have been home and have not seen the mail person at all in 2 days!! This letter that I'm waiting on is time sensitive and they don't take the excuse that mail is running late I've gotten bills that were delivered after they were due also thank God never got disconnected!! What is going on with our postal service?????

My mail was found in the driveway on the morning of 8/27. It was mail from the previous day. There was nothing preventing delivery into my mailbox. This was a first! Good thing it wasn’t windy or rainy!

The Post Office at 933 W. 3nd St in Davenport, IA was closed last week do to Technical issues. IS IT OPEN now. Simple question, no one answers their phone there, and automated does not have answers. I am 80, and do not want to take a bus to tghe Post Office if it is NOT OPEN. Can anyone answer this question please?

My package was to be delivered by 9:00 PM. Then after 9:00 it said still out for delivery. How late do you deliver mail? Why would you leave a package that lat at night? Do you know that thieves love that? Who is running the Davenport P.O. A third grader. Please show some concern for the public’s mail, we pay for things and you are paid to have them here safe. Hello, my grandson who is 10 understands this.

I have no issues with the Postal Service I have great service from my mailman but I am aware that they have changed routes and took away some and added more to others and now I’m not getting my mail until about 730 or 8:00 at night which is so inconvenientAlso I think it’s very bad to do that to these poor people who go out in all kinds of weather. Hopefully they get this straightened out

Is the mail employee to lazy to close the mailbox door after opening and inserting mail. This is very annoying in wet weather causing the mail water damage. Oh and stop stealing the good coupons that are sent out to everyone.

I just received a package from Cigars International. It was just set on the steps IN THE RAIN! really? I'm retired I'm always home. No knock or maybe put it on the porch under the roof. The box fell apart but I was lucky the $200. In cigars survived. My address is 320 n. Sturdevant st. Dav. Please don't throw packages on the steps.

I am very upset with this post office. I mailed 2 books from my post office to an address in Davenport. There was nothing else in the box. Therefore, it was media. My Postmaster was the one that boxed it and set the postage as Media Mail. The first attempt to deliver the package to the intended address failed due to no secure location to leave the box. So, I had the recipient pick it up at the post office. The package was opened (I assume for inspection). I'm not happy about that, but understand it. But they claimed it was not media and charged the recipient the balance of the postage. I called to get this handled and was placed on hold for 15 minutes, at which time someone answered and disconnected the call. I called back and was placed on hold again, this time for 30 minutes. I hung up and called back and asked for the Postmaster. I was placed on hold again. The Postmaster apparently was not in. I spoke with a supervisor. I explained the situation, and all I got were stories of what other people have tried to ship as media mail. I don't care what other people have done. I want to know why my recipient was charged when they clearly shouldn't have been. Oh, and I got the comment on how well trained the people at that post office is. Well, apparently someone screwed up.
