I was reading all the reviews below. I have been hearing all the negative delivery habits. Short on Postal carriers. I even see there are job openings if you think you can do better. I would like to say the gal delivering mail in my Grove town area if fantastic. It takes her quite a while to fill so many mailboxes just for our townhome community. I wonder how many TH communities she does each day. Then she needs and does deliver the packages to the door. She is wonderful. She does a great job. I do my part by making sure my mailbox is emptied often so she does not have to work so hard putting mail in the box. If I have a package I like to empty the boxes where she can leave packages so she has one less door she needs to deliver to. People... the Post office provides a service for you. Some understanding goes a long way. If your mail box is that full the mail carrier cannot fit any more in it, then empty it! It is not there job to bag it and bring it up to your door.

The postal delivery people in Ivy Falls subdivision are rude, incompetent and have the I'm better than you attitude. They will stuff your mailbox (if they can shove it in, they will) and don't care about anything in packages. They speed up and down the road, being in a residential neighborhood doesn't even cross their mind. Any packages that don't fit in mailbox will be dropped or thrown on porches. I've even had mail delivered with lottery scratch off residue on all my mail. this problem needs to be addressed ASAP, this cannot continue due to the amount of people having things delivered to their home.

I have gone to the post office and called multiple times to get the community mailbox package door fixed because the key to open it has been broken off into the box. The mail carrier will place a package into the smaller box and give the key for the one that is broken and not for the door that actually works. They have had to come out to get my package from the mailbox and deliver it to my house because of the failure to open their eyes or use their brain to see they gave us the wrong key even though they are clearly labeled. Also Grovetown post office will not answer the phone you get the automated system and then rings for 3 minutes and 30 seconds before it drops the call completely. I have stood in line and called them while in the lobby not one single phone ringing at all clearly they don’t want to do their job as they are paid to do. I know I could easily take the exam for the post office and pass but I am not willing to take a pay cut to be around people who clearly are just biding their time to qualify for their government pensions.

Mail was in my box and my neighbors Two houses down. Mail was placed in the box by 9 AM and guess what at % PM it is still there. This is not the first time mail has not been picked. Please correct this gross error.

I've had it!!!The man that delivers our mail is totally incompetent. Not only has he struck out at delivering the basic mail, but don't expect him to even work the last remaining brain cells he has left to deliver a package. A tracking number exists for a reason,or so I thought. When this guy gets hold of your packages you better pray to whatever god you have a relationship with or you'll never see it. My package said it was delivered but the mailman doesn't know where. It's not at my house, that's for sure. Lord help any animal lovers! This guy seems to go out of his way to hit them. He's already killed 2 beautiful cats that were on the side...THE SIDE PEOPLE!!!...of the road. I've called & complained to the postmaster of the office & he/she says they'll take care of him. Has anything been done? NO! The reason I say he/she for the postmaster is because each time I call & ask to speak to the postmaster, I get a different person. The last time I checked, each post office had only one postmaster. This is their way of giving you the run around. I guess if you want anything done about this office, you may have to step on all their necks & call or write the Postmaster General in Washington, D.C.

I tried to call the office to ask for some information and the phone rang and then someone rudely picked it up and hung up on me.

Reading these comment is so discouraging and frustrating. We frequently do not receive packages and told that notices are left when they are not. Contacting the office is of no use. The supervisor says she will get things fixed but nothing changes. We get mail from blocks away but often not our own. I hope something will be done since Grovetown is only going to grow.

Rude, Unprofessional, Abrasive, Crass and Argumentative. Perfect fit for Grovetown.

They didn't even attempt to deliver my package. I was sitting on my couch 8 feet from the door with a clear view to the front porch yet they said they attempted delivery and left a notice. Obviously they did not and obviously there was no notice. I don't know which is worse: they are too lazy to give me my package, or they tried to deliver my expensive item to someone else. Also, I have received numerous packages addressed to my neighbors.

This is by far the worst post office I have ever seen... and we move around a lot. If the package doesn't fit in the box or they are in a situation where they need to get out of their comfy truck, you might as well not expect your package to be delivered. They will mark it delivered and keep rolling.

Exact same thing just happened to me, tracking says delivery was attempted Thursday at 3:30 (at which time I was home, odd) it also says a notice was left - none was. Guess I'll have to go up there myself to do their job for them. Once i got the neighbor across the street's mail in my box (all of it) like they didn't even look at the house number or address.

The Grovetown Postal inGrovetown Ga has service that I would rate a 1. The service is terrible and I want to speak to someone who is in charge.
