There used to be 2 blue mail boxes at the drive through area. Now there is 1 large box which is ALWAYS overflowing. Every time I go, I have to back up and park, and walk my mail into the building because it won't fit. Please put another box so that you can deal with all the mail. I'm not stuffing it up in there for someone to steal.
Today, June 15th, 1:30 p.m., I drove through to drop mail in the outside box at the Wrightsboro Rd location. It was crammed packed full already! I have found this to be so on more than one occasion. Mail can be easily removed by a person's hand! I strongly recommend adding back an earlier pickup time at the outside box. Thanks you for your consideration.
The carrier doesn't show up to deliver mail an post on tracking number they delivered when they didn't show up, how I know I have security cameras that record an no carrier showed up for no one in the neighbor hood all the mail boxes are together, this has happened 4 times now, I was told a couple of times they end their route at a certain time, this is bullshit hire more people extend their hours it doesn't get dark till late now that it is summer, they lie to much, I'm writing email again to the post master of the district. The post office uses excuses after excuses, I have to go pick up my mail 4 times, paying the postage is not right when they fn don't deliver the mail
This particular post office has so many issues. The employees are nice as can be, and half the time I go in there there's only 1 person up front during busiest times of the day. So I have the informed delivery notification saying IRS sent me something in mail, next day a previous employer sent w2, and following day cash app sent me mail..ok so I received the W2 in my broken lock mailbox(which I have notified this location many times to fix, and still have not received keys)
But I have not received anything from IRS or my cash app mail still till this day! And this is going on 2 weeks. So I'm thinking about asking if they can shake down the mail carriers truck, to see if they see my missing mail. Tried calling as well, just like everybody else, no answer...
As far as the broken lock on box, I have filed 2 complaints on it and nothing was done so I just have to go with it, bc I'm expecting my stimulus soon and I hope that doesn't get misplaced or anything!
This post office and mail carrier get a -10. I have been having issues for yrs. Complaining seems to go no where. Everything is blamed on Covid-19 and now the holidays. I have been having issues for several yrs. I have informed delivery and it's a constant battle. My mail has gone to the wrong person. Items marked delivered are not received. Yesterday I scheduled a pick up and as usual the mail carrier ignores me. He knows I've been complaining. Many times he is on his cell phone while putting mail in the boxes. As I stated in the aforementioned complaint these issues are pre-covid. Now with Covid-19 things are ten times worse. I have spoken to supervisor "James" at Forrest Hill post office to no avail. Packages that show they are delivered are never seen. 2019 with Informed delivery my mail was going to the wrong person. Oct 2019 mail from my informed delivery took two weeks to show up. PLEASE help me I'm at my wit's end. Thank you in advance for your help.
They lied about delivering my package and said I need to come pick it up at their location but I have a ring camera and NO mail carriers came to my door step or in my yard period. I have been calling to get this sorted out but no ones answering the phone after 2 hrs of calling if my package gets returned to sender it’s the post office’s fault not mine so why do I have to play detective to track down something that should have been delivered to door step but wasn’t due to what appears to be pure laziness.
I paid for a key on April 16th. IT is now May 9th !!!!! I ama bus physician and do not have to run to the post office to find out the key is not ready... Why have I not been notified ? Why on repeated attempts to call the post office (during business hours is there no one to answer the phone? Why are the comments of others on this webpage with similar complaints of no answer, poor service?
We are having a major problem at Brookstone Cottages at Raes Creek on Brookstone Way. Some days mail delivered 630PM. Some days not at all. I can"t reach this ofc. Must be off hook. Get a busy most of time and some don't answer. Our postman needs help. Our gate closes at 6pm. I get business mail at my home and this is not acceptable.This is not a one time occurance. Happening very often.
I've been calling the forest hills location for 2 days, they have not answered their phone yet, twice you can tell someone answered and hung up, they lose my mail and it's costing me money, I even called another location to report this, or see if there was a problem, no help there. Ridiculous
I had a pkg delivered to someone else..I went to the forest Hills branch with my tracking number. the gentleman went to the back for a few minutes and came back and said you should just get a refund. I don't want a refund I want my package. A friend works for the P.O. and told me to call her supervisor at another branch. She did a tracking on it and it is here in the community I live at. the address it said it was delivered to does not exist on this property. So I know Forrest Hills knows that too.He was suppose to contact me once he talked to the carrier and never did.I can't get anyone to answer the phones, the mailman played dumb and I have tried to be nice about it. This is a gift and I want my package, that simple. The delivery service has gone down hill the last 2 yrs. This is the 3rd pkg I have had to track down. I find my personal mail on the ground by the mail boxes as well. I manage this community and not one carrier has bothered to come into the office to get a resident list.
The mail was not picked up at my address: 3150 Perimeter Parkway, #110, Augusta, GA 30909 on Friday or Saturday, the 16th and 17th. There was no delivery either day. It is frequent that there is no pickup on Saturdays, but this was also on Friday. There has a been a big problem of delivering mail to the incorrect addressee to the incorrect box, though they are marked well.
I am very displeased with our postal worker, he is late after 5 pm most days and has not even showed up to collect or deliver mail 4 days in the past month.
