I had a certified letter supposed to be delivered 2 days ago.
They did not come to my door for signature. I did not receive letter. There was no note tacked on my door that they had tried to deliver it.
After 2 days my son and I chased her down on the route and she said it was back at post office. We went back to post office and said the carrier had it :( We again chased her down and she did have it in her possession. I get notifications each morning in my email what is being delivered that day. Had I not got this notification 2 days ago the letter might still be in the back of her vehicle.
I am being told there is no access to my mailbox! My mailbox is clear. Your delivery person lacks intelligence and good vision. I need this package today! Not tomorrow! Oh the beeping the horn as they went by was hilarious by the way!🤡🤢🙄🤦
This facility is the worst I've ever dealt with. This is the 3rd time a delivery wasn't made on time and now they've sent it to the next city over when I'm 1 mile from Umatilla post office. Wtf is wrong at this location? Plus it always looks awful out from with grass extremely high and overgrown bushes. The city takes great lengths to keep everything looking manicured and beautiful but tjis government ran eye sore always sticks out like a sore thumb. Why?
Constantly being delivered wrong address mail. Makes good cover to steal my packages. Funny how selective my missing items are. I can almost tell ahead which ones will be stolen and then claimed delivered.
I have to agree with all the negative posts. I have been here less than a year and my mail always gets mixed up with others and we end up delivering the mail to the right person for the post office. Also I've had two packages missing and one damaged.
I went in the office to find my missing packages and had to wait 20 minutes in line because of only one person on the counter. When he went back to look for the package he was gone for five minutes without anybody on the counter and still did not find the package. In that time several people in line left.
So, my wife and I got out of the hospital for viral pneumonia. Our immune systems have been compromised. We were instructed to self isolate for two weeks by both the hospital and the health department. We had 3 days left.
I’m in the living room. Someone comes to the door and knocks. I open the door and see he has no mask on and before I can get mine on he says “I need your signature for certified mail”. I quickly back up, my wife hears from the other room and tells him to go around to the garage as she puts on her mask, eye wear, and gloves.
I call the post office and they say they can’t force a delivery person to wear protective masks. And continues on citing Post Office regulations apparently unaware or uncaring of the conflicting current priorities regarding safety of the people they serve.
So I go back to quarantine for two more weeks (wife as well).
Unbelievable.
My take away from the situation is never open your door for unscheduled arrivals and never trust
Our box rent was due by 5/31. We were out of town until after 6/15. The postmaster instructed the staff to close boxes, change the locks and send all mail back. He did this for 29 other boxes. While he was acting within the rights of a postmaster, it did not make for good PR. We have had our box for over 25 years, never had any issues. So Postmaster, how do plan to spend the extra $15,000 from your stunt?
I was supposed to be receiving a package today and I havent even got my mail yet, i dont understand how I dont get my mail until later in the day and I live on the street right behind the post office
Always having trouble receiving my packages I have not received two of them today, was given a key for a cluster box 1 and when I opened it the box was empty. I have contacted the USPS headquarters to see where my items are.
I’m having continuous, ongoing problems that they can not find my address. I live on a well known main street in Umatilla. No excuses. I’m tired of trying to track my packages down.
Tried to call the Umatilla office at 11:30 am, no one picked up, so I was transferred to the grand island office. The lady that picked up the phone told me that the Umatilla office was closed for lunch and would open again at 1:30 pm. Really girl....a two hour lunch?
