I mailed at this post office last month for delivery of some bills. NONE of the bills got delivered. My house payment, my HOA payment, a BCBS claim, two Discover bills and a Master Card bill. Stamps keep going up and no service at all. Now I have to call all these people and arrange a new payment - in addition to paying interest and late fees and fees to cancel payment on checks. Where did my mail go that I paid to have delivered?

Never answer the Centerville phone! Half my packages are late. They throw stuff where they want. Put my neighbors mail in my box at least once every couple of months. They send messages to Amazon like customer asked for a hold at the post office. The driveway was blocked. Just tell the truth and admit you didn’t get to yet

7/20/2022, Herold Hill Road. Have not received mail since last week. Was expecting packages as well as voter ballot. Have letter in box to be picked up. Leaving it there to see if and when mail delivery actually occurs. May have to report this to the authorities as possible voter fraud!

4 foot long package left leaning on fence post near road and not delivered to house. This was on July 6, 2022 at 9721 Moccasin Gap Road. This has happened several times. Caught carrier on return of route and ask why she left it beside the road. It was a call from my neighbor that told me it was out in the open. Carrier informed me it was no big deal since people could steal mail out of my box. Totally incompetent and inconsiderate service.

Does no one work at this post office? I have tried to call 2 days in a row now during open hours for one question and I have spoken to no one. My package has been “in-transit” for 3 weeks now. I just want my package!

I am so disappointed! I've had issues with getting my mail forwarded that was promptly resolved, but now my carrier has not been to our mailbox for 3 days now and I've got outgoing mail in it. Here's the disappointing part...I can't reach a single human being to help me with my issue. My post office doesn't anser the phone and disconnects after 30 rings. Not one automated answer gets me to a live person!!!!!!!

Due to medical reasons I can no longer get to where the mail boxes are. My doctor told me if I fill out your paper work requesting my mail be delivered to a box placed on my apartment that you can leave right at my building. Can you help me with this?

Literally the worst post office ever. Lazy. Sick of having to constantly go to the post office to reach someone when it's out of my way and obviously I work so the hours are a total inconvenience. If I could choose any other post office, I would.

I’ve been calling the number for 2 days. No response. How can I talk to a human at the Centerville Road PO without going there?

This post office is an absolute disaster. for the past 2 years every package that I've had shipped through USPS has either been marked as delivered while it sat on a truck, or delivered to the incorrect address. Honestly I wish I had an option to not have anything shipped through USPS at all. The customer service is terrible both phone and in person. USPS has become an obsolete method of delivery. From this point forward i will go out of my way to avoid using USPS for anything outside of normal mail(which they still manage to screw up)

Our neighborhood off of Benjamin Chaires Road has sent in many complaints regarding the past few carries. I met our new carrier Julie the other day and she is delightful! She was so bubbly and friendly and asked me where I would like my packages placed when I wasn't home. I can tell she takes her job seriously and cares about her performance. I have heard nothing but wonderful compliments from all of my neighbors about her. Thank you for listening to our concerns over the past several months and placing Julie with us.

I have had complaints about service too, but I understand there are many contributing factors. As to junk mail issues, the large volume of junk mail we receive subsidizes postage rates which would be much higher without it. The postal service has been forced by our elected officials (D's and R's) into private sector contracts that skim away its most profitable business and make it increasingly difficult if not impossible for the postal service to compete with those private services. In order to survive the Postal Service has cut the number of employees to the bone (you may have noticed). The service is poorer and there is less opportunity for the few remaining supervisors to supervise. The service is dying because we are killing it. Like mail in voting? Who will deliver that mail for you? UPS, FEDEX, at $26 a pop? The government should be delivering the mail, not health care, housing and food.

The Post Office has become obsolete. I think it is time to close the Post Office and turn it over to the completely private sector. How much junk mail do you need?

They KEEP messing up! I have forwarded my mail SEVERAL times and neighbors STILL discover stuff in my mail box weeks later! USPS has a real problem with forwarding- they need to FIX IT! DONT BLAME IT ON THE SUBS- its a management issue.

2150 Farms Road. The lower part of this road is under water 4-8 inches of water. Residents go and come every day. Why hasn't my mail been delivered for two weeks?

I'm impressed! Just received a Follow-up call from Ms. Kim Morgan concerning a lost package (which I have since received). What a wonderful Professional Courtesy of Ms. Morgan to extend to me. Rare these days! She has my vote for Employee of the wk/mth/yr.. Kudos to her.

My mail was delivered the day it was supposed to be forwarded. A common occurrence from this PO. Called the number listed on the Centerville PO website 5 times within 20 minutes with no response to "stand by for agent" or "stand by for operator" after ringing the "agent" 15 times. Then it rang 15 times for "operator" and no answer till disconnected! Then I called the toll free phone number and was told my wait time was 40-50 minutes. How badly is the USPS manned and equipped? Must be pretty bad. Have always been disappointed with Centerville's poor actions to my printed requests on-line or on the yellow card for holding mail when I travel. Once again, poor, poor response and service!

I served a military career in Medical Naval Aviation High Risk Physiology &Water Survival training (e.g., also classififed and unclassified topics). I also served in 3 State of Florida agencies as a Contract Manager/Project Manager. My return envelope stated that "no postage" was necessary if mailed in the "conitinental United States"' it also stated that postage was due if mailed the continental United States on the "self-addressed postage card. The Post Office personnel were incompetent. The Post Officwe Manager was incompetent in the "training procedures of his/her personnel. I am submitting a personal e-mail to US Representative Dunn expressing both my dissatisfaction with the Post Office Manager and with the the Post Office employees. Incompetence is not tolerated. I did not tolerate it in my military career as a military officer, nor my State of Florida career with 3 State of Florida agencies. I will be contacting my local US Congressman to express both my concern & my displeasure with both you and your employees' incompetence. Bruce Tallahassee

I am very disappointed with the service and new manager at the Centerville Post Office. The service did not exceed my expectations. The new manager Roger was rude and very abrupt. I am hoping things change at our neighborhood post office.
