Major issues with this post office. I would give negative stars if possible. The post office will not answer the phone and the 800 number is useless. The issue is that a package was dropped off for shipment over a week ago and a tracking number was supplied, however the post office never scanned in the package so says still waiting for the package to be dropped off, but it was dropped off. It was in a large pink bag...kind of hard to miss. Tracking # 9405508205498360477194 This gift was for a kids holiday party and now it will not be here in time. I was supposed to be delivered on 11/28/23, but since it has never shipped nor been scanned I am at a loss and so are the kids.

I am having a major issue with my route driver. He never shuts my mail box. It closes with no problem and stays shut. He just does not take the time to do it. This happens constantly. I actually witnessed it one afternoon when I got off from work a little early. I was standing in my doorway waiting to see what he would do. I am very tired of this .I am tired of my mail being wet, tired of it being soaked at times because of rain being blow in but tired of my mail open to the public to take whenever the walk by. There is some characters out there. I don’t want to confront him but he does need to take time with his job. Thank you

THE WORST! Because PCB post office does not deliver packages to my nieces home (letters/envelopes they do) we send items addressed to her at her workplace. Now PCB post office cannot seem to find that location either. Sent a box 10/12/2022. Not delivered. Filed a request to locate on 10/22/2022. It was finally located being returned to sender and supposed to be re-routed back to PCB for delivery. Today it shows as incorrect address and being returned to sender. Of course, no one EVER answers the phone at the PO.

Have called twice today. Both times the call cycles through and asks you to hold for the next available person. 1 minute and 37 seconds latter the call ends in a hang up. This use to be a great post office, good service and personable people. Sadly, this seems to be happening all over.

My mailbox has been in the same spot for 40 years, is there a rule that it must be on a certain side of the driveway? The mailman keeps taping my mail box shut saying my house is vacant....and to move my mailbox.... seems to me if he has mail, then deliver it if not then don’t and it is not his decision to decide whether my house is vacant or not, which it is not...

Always a very long, painful, slow moving line with only two workers. Waited in line over 15 minutes to pick up mail and was told I needed ID, which I did not have on me. Didn't need ID for previous pick-ups. Ugh!!!! Not very happy with the service

Service was very slow. I stood on line for a full half hour. Waiting did not bother me as much as the fact that many of the others in line and three of the postal workers were not wearing masks. I felt like I couldn't wait to get the heck out of there. Aren't federal employees and federal buildings supposed to follow the president's mask mandate? I was annoyed by the thoughtlessness of unmasked folks. And the poor workers......this post office is sorely understaffed. It always has been.

Terrible. I had a eBay sell around mid November. I packaged it and dropped it off at UPS to be transferred to USPS and shipped off. The package sat at the Panama City location until Dec 15th. I called and emailed multiple times. Finally I sent a claim. Someone called me when I requested and email. Of course I missed the call. They told me that the shipping label was messed up and the package was lost. I was told to file a claim for it with no way of knowing how to file a claim. I was told to call the number back for help and did. It's the regular USPS number for support and I sat on the phone 2 hours waiting for nothing and finally gave up. They lost a $155 item. I paid a $15 eBay fee plus I paid $13 for shipping. I was told my label was messed up and it wasn't. The seller contacted me saying he reached out to USPS and there was an issue with the shipping label and was sending the item back to me. So the label is messed up but not enough to bring the item back to my house damaged/opened/repackaged. Someone opened my item so it's not new anymore. Lost of item value. Lost money on shipping. Pain in the ass to refund to buyer. Now I have to resell this item as an open box. I should have never shipped through USPS for the 7% discount through eBay. What a freaking scam. Worse shipping ever.

Waited for my Amazon delivery for two days after After Amazon said it was delivered. After tracking it again through USPS it said it was returned to sender? Odd.. we are all here just sitting at home during quarantine. No knock on my door or note whatsoever from USPS. Of course I then tried calling the local branch, as the below reviews state ...the line just rings and rings and then goes to a busy signal like the person just hangs up. You also cannot contact Amazon during this time either. Although my package isn’t a life or death situation like medicine, it could have been. I just don’t like the excuse of laziness to “return my package to sender” for no cause. Annoying. Amazon needs to get a better delivery system! We can’t count on our local PCB office.

The past two weeks our postman has not only failed to deliver my medications but has labeled it as not deliverable and return to sender. These medications are critical to my health and result in inordinate delays which directly affects my wellbeing. I cannot simply run to a local pharmacy to obtain my medication because I have no prescription to submit. I was fortunate to speak to Theresa at the Panama City Beach FL and she was kind enough to research the return bin and locate one of my medications. She looked at the package and could not understand nor explain the reason for the package not being delivered. I am once again faced with trying to contact the Post Office (which is another nightmare) as the phone rings and rings and then goes to a busy signal. Theresa did state that our carrier is new at this job. This is no excuse to not deliver mail. This is a single dwelling that we have lived in for 15 years. Our house number is prominently displayed on box sides of the box. Thank you for any assistance that you can provide.

This post office is absolutely a nightmare to deal with! And this did not just start with the Hurricane! They continually deliver my check late every month. I have to go up to their office and hunt it down EVERY MONTH! Then yesterday I get an email that a package I have been waiting on was delivered to my mailbox. I get off work go home to my mail (I live in apartments so we a have a package mailbox) The key to the package mailbox is in my box go to open package mailbox and its not locked and my package is nowhere to be found!!!! Needless to say I am waiting on this office to open to see where my check is again and why my package is not there!!! I cringe every month dealing with this particular post office!!!!

Please get him this message and have him phone me. 706-812-1944 Thanks, Mary S Rese

Does anyone know the name of the postmaster of this office? I am FURIOUS. My husband was in this office yesterday, where a postal service worker was very rude to him. The argument became heated between my husband and said worker. A man from BEHIND my husband grabbed his arms and tried to pin them back, and being a Veteran of the US Army, my husband shook him off and left the post office on Churchwell. Today, feeling remorse over his actions yesterday, my husband returned to same office to apologize to the postal worker with whom he had the altercation yesterday. After waiting our turn in line, my husband stepped up to the counter and said, “I came in here today to apologize for my actions.” At which point the postal employee POINTED HER PEN at my husband and proceeded to say to him in a LOUD, HATEFUL, BELLIGERENT manner, “YOUSHOULD BE! I want you to know that this is a FEDERAL BUILDING (duhhhhhh, Post Office) and you are VERY LUCKY not to be in jail blah, blah, blah!” She then accused my husband of assaulting the man who grabbed him from behind! (Really don’t understand how you can assault someone who has grabbed you from behind, isn’t that called “self-defense” in this country?) and she NEVER accepted his apology today, even though he repeatedly kept saying “I’m here to apologize and I’m sorry.” She pointed her finger at ME because I was trying to explain that this was very unusual behavior from my husband and said, “I’m talking now, you listen!” Long story to say this. My husband is 70 years old and a retired veteran of the US Army. He served 4 years during Vietnam era, he enlisted and was not drafted; he is a proud man who was proud to serve his country. He has numerous health issues, and we have just lost our home to Hurricane Michael (which is why we were not in the post office in Lynn Haven to begin with). SHE (older Caucasian thin woman with frizzy salt-and-pepper long hair) will not be in any danger of losing her job because I’m sure she’s been a postal worker for a long time at her age. NO CUSTOMER of ANY business should EVER be treated the way my husband was treated. I would appreciate SOME type of response from the postmaster of this location.

COSTLY Packages were not delivered again as usual. This continues to happen with no resolution. The mail service is horrible and I feel as many others do that an investigation should be done. The USPS should not be allowed to treat people and their belongings; costly or not that way. So, someone has to be accepting these missing packages. This is unacceptable and will continue until something is done corporate. INVESTIGATION DEMANDED!

Delivery Attempted - No Access to Delivery Location. Nothing in my mail slot just got the notice online informed delivery. I mean Seriously!! The gate is open since the hurricane until repairs. I have never had a problem until November. Horrible service. Was suppose to get a check from IL to PCB and it went to St Croix!!! then returned to sender. Worst mail service I have ever experienced.

Man this post office is something else. Slow as Christmas and they just don't seem to care. Rude employees that would rather talk amongst themselves vs taking care of the customer right in front of them. The line is always long and most of the time they only have one person working the window. I try to go to Lynn Haven because they are great there!!! How can the Lynn Haven office always have at least 3 people working the window but not PCB? Not sure if that post office survived Hurricane Michael. Whoever the head person that is there and is over the PCB office should be fired along with most of the people working there.

I have lived in several new neighborhoods, on new streets in new cities and ALWAYS had a mailbox full of stuff ADDRESSED TO ME before I even moved in. NEVER MISSED A STATEMENT OR IMPORTANT PIECE OF MAIL. So why is it that the postal service can't even forward to my new address after 4 months of residence. Now, I am a very patient person, to the point of driving others nuts, but THIS IS REDICULOUS! When will my address be recognized?????? Russell Waite 89 Firefly Way Watersound, or Inlet Beach, or Rosemary Beach, or Alys Beach, or Seacreast Beach. 32461 Formerly Panama City Beach, 32413

I have been living in Panama City Beach for 19 yrs, never had a problem as bad as this with the mail service, I am disabled and must order quite a few things on-line etc. From time to time I have a few issues, the past two weeks i can not believe the service or lack of service. The mail carrier is not my usual one, she is great. I have not been getting my mail as I should, my credit card statement was mailed to me on May21st, I did not receive it until June 5th, I was told I should have received it in 5-7 days. There are 10 items i am waiting for ,I did receive 2 of them (not from the mail carrier ,but from 2 neighbors, one around corner one two doors down, they knew me. What has become of my other items??Now I have not received any mail in three days.Something Must be done.

I have been waiting on delivery of some very much needed meds for six days. I am always home never go anywhere. I received a note stating that they tried delivery and no one was home. Hum, that's funny. I filled out the form also got on phone and rescheduled delivery. Next day, was standing in front door way and carrier pulled up to put mail in box ( Not meds. ) and waved at me from the mail truck. He also picked up the signed notice. I called again and held in the line for over one hour. When answered, the individual stated my meds would be delivered next day. Well, in the next day I was waiting, carrier left another notice. They must have thousands of those little pieces of paper. Guess what, the carrier pulled about fifty feet down to my neighbors box. I went as far as I could and waved the notice at him, he pulled out and went on down the street. I did as much as I possibly could considering I am handicapped with a permanent breathing stoma along with other serious health related issues, one the reasons I am waiting on meds. So, to end this little episode, I sent the prescriptions to my local Publix for filling. I just wanted all who read this little note to know that we for sure have the worst possible Post Office on Panama City Beach this side of hell without a doubt.

Don't bother calling the local number above, nobody answers. Don't bother calling the 800 number either. Can't get past all the automated crap. The post office in Panama City Beach sucks and so do the carriers. Checked mail today only to find a big yellow slip that reads: VACANT with my address and condo unit number written on the slip. The carrier also removed my last name on the box. WTF? So I wrote with a big black sharpie the word "NOT" in front of VACANT. Then I added, I still live here!

There seems to be a disconnect between the employees and their responsibilities to the public in regards to what they were hired to do. Front Beach Road is currently under construction and has been for several months. Through no fault of their own the public is made to pay the price for this; and unfortunately the Postal Service seems to think this is a sufficient excuse for not delivering the mail. No customer likes to hear the excuse" I couldn't get through due to road construction" especially when there is a parking lot directly across the street that's accessible and the postal worker can walk across the street without any obstacles preventing them from doing their job.
