My package was retail ground from Ohio to Florida. It cost $16.29 to ship it at my local USPS. My customer in Florida never received their package. They received pictures from a postal employee of their broken glass objects and the destroyed box. The object inside cost $34. I didn't purchase optional insurance(I wasnt informed I had the option). So now im out $34+16.29=50.29. The package didnt even arrive to the destination I paid for! It arrived to miami where they called my customer and told him to pick it up if he wanted it. The usps in Miami told him to call the distributor. That is me. As if its the distributors accident rather than their own. There is a 50minute hold on complaint department phone. There isnt even an option to complain against retail ground. At the end of the day I didnt get the service I paid for and want my money back for atleast the shipping costs. You are likely to see this review posted everywhere there is an opening for usps complaints online! If I cant have my shipping $ back then im going to inform everyone I can about my mistreatment! Come on USPS do the right thing. I spend $100ish a week...you are throwing away a great customer!
On Saturday, I dropped 6 priority mail letters in the box at the Miliam Dairy mail facility in Miami (Miami Post Office
2200 NW 72nd Ave Ste 514, Miami, FL 33152) As it was Veterans Day I wasn't sure if they were processed on Saturday. Do you know if they processed the mail that afternoon? Thanks,
