The experience that I have at this post office has been terrible. I was not sure of my address and was told by an employee that I could put in a general mail address until I knew where I was living. I put in a general mail address. Within two days, I went to the Edgewater post office and filled out a the paperwork. I explained that I had an address and completed a change of address. I hand gave this to the employee. This was on March 28th. I was very clear that I had an address to forward my mail . I completed a new address form. I have received some of my forwarding mail, with the forwarding mail stickers to my new address. I had received an email that I had a certified mail envelope. Which I never received. I called the Edgewater Post office and spoke to the same individual that took my change of address information. He informed me that in his computer, he had my new address information,, The piece of mail was sitting in their post office., general mail. He would send all my mail as well as the certified mail to me at my new address. Two weeks later, I spoke to the same individual. I explained that I have not yet received most of my mail or the certified mail. This same employee looked up on his computer and informed me that there was not a forwarding address on file. So for me to go to my local post office and complete the forwarding address so I can receive my mail. Edgewater Post Office, I have already received forwarding mail, please investigate why this has happened and inform me of your findings.
Went to Edgewater post office the older lady with black hair is very rude ! Need to clean house and get rid of the ones with attitude. I went to New Smyrna office and was treat the way we all want to be treated ! I will continue to go there !
After coming in & talking to a very rude female employee about a package. She said basically berated me because I only paid 4.80 for shipping. Then she stated you did not have insurance on you package. We will give you your package when we see fit & without insurance you may never see your package. After this encounter my package has not move. it's been at the Lake Mary distribution center for 4 days now.
by the way rude female employee. I am going to due a freedom of information request for all emails and text and all other communications between Edgewater & Lake Mary distribution center.

Had to call this office today, just move to the area and I’m not receiving any mail, I had to make a very unfortunate call to this post office, extremely racist, rude, condescending and did I mention racist, she referred 2 me as “ lady” and your kind. My kind as you called me was not aware that once I move I have to wait for the mailman and advise of my presence ( news to me) I only been in this country for about 43 years. I know I’m only a criminal investigator from Miami but if“ your kind” “ lady “ would not be committing crimes just as “my kind” then you would have no need for someone like me in “ your neighborhood” I have put my life in the line twice to give people like you the right to be racist, and an arrogant disgrace to this wonderful country. By the grace of God this town is not a reflection of YOU, this post office puts the wonderful, beautiful town of Edgewater to shame.

The mailboxes in Persimmon Place were replaced with nice new boxes and, almost immediately one of the parcel boxes was damaged. A key cannot be inserted into the lock because the opening is blocked. Several times, the carrier has placed a parcel in this box which, of course, I was unable to retrieve because of the damaged lock so I waited until the carrier returned the next day and walked out to ask him to retrieve my package. This usually takes a few days because I cannot simply sit watching the mailboxes all day. About a month ago, I was expecting a package and, of course, it was placed in 1P for Block 1 of the community. The problem was that, this time, the package was something I urgently needed, so I called the post office. A very rude young woman first accused me of having damaged the box myself, saying that SHE has just recently replaced those boxes, for which SHE had had to spend $1500, and if someone was damaging HER boxes, she really didn't like it. I was shocked, but assured her that I had not damaged the box, but did really need the contents of the box! Eventually, she said she would have someone come out. About a half hour later, the regular carrier came and I went out and asked him to release my package from its prison. No one else ever came out. Now, it has happened again. This time the imprisoned package most likely contains a food item - a Christmas gift from my son in CA that he had given me a head's up message to be expecting. I really cannot be sitting and watching for the carrier to come, but I AM going to do so rather than calling and speaking to your very rude employee. I worked in a county health clinic for 20 years before I retired and if I had spoken to the patients the way this person spoke to me, I would have been fired on the spot. I cannot understand how she keeps her job. I feel very bad for anyone who has to work with her in what is supposed to be a "service" position.

We moved here from Broward county. Edgewater Post office is a great improvement from what I have seen down south. Never had a bad experience with any of the employees. They are always nice and friendly. No complaints here.
There r several rude employees there. I was treated with disrespect, discourteousness, rudeness & a condescending attitude by a woman who came to the front to talk to me, from the back of the PO. I don't know if she's the head of the place or not, but I will no longer use the Edgewater PO. They have no idea what they r doing & can't get any mail problem figured out. DONE!
I work for a business in Edgewater and our fill in for our regular mail man her name is Taylor. After our numerous complaints to the Edgewater post office and the post master we have still not seen any improvement in her attitude, her body language towards the women in my office or the way she goes about her job. She is the most ignorant, rude, inconsiderate post woman I have ever met in my life. Having her as our person that does our route makes me sick in the fact she can act this ignorant towards paying customers. She is constantly on her own personal phone talking while we are trying to ask her things, she makes us stand in the rain when we offer to bring the mail out to her while she stands in the back of her truck and she does not say hello, goodbye or anything to us. Taylor does not scan our packages when we ask her to so last week we were not able to track our own mail because of her because she did not want to do her job properly. It is completely inconsiderate and unprofessional top hire a person who acts like this to work for the United States Postal Service. To have her working for our local postal office is horrible and if she does not change her attitude or is not taken off our route there will be many more complaints made by this office.
