Ever since a carrier switch one month ago ALL my packages have been misdelivered, marked as invalid address, or moved not forwarding adress. I've called and called and no one answers and I'm so tired of it. Even the main customer complaint line isn't helping. I will never use them again. 0 stars.
I’m calling the facility, however no one is answering. Poor Customer Service. I’m missing a package they claimed was delivered but yet I do not have it. The email game of this “investigation” process is ridiculous. I want to speak to a real person.
There is no customer service because they don’t answer at local post offices. You call 1-800 & get some recording. No assistance whatsoever. This is unacceptable. I placed an order & it went to my local post office who sent it to another local post office. It’s been there 3-4 days. What’s the deal!?
The number given on the notice is a fax number. The 800 number has a 60 minute estimated wait time. Unfortunately, it appears I will have to make a physical trip into my local post office to see if the payment for the PO Box of my organization has been received.
APPARENTLY A CHANGE OF ADDRESS WAS DONE WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REACH SOMEONE AT THE POST OFFICE TO VERIFY. PHONE TRANSFERS THEN GOES TO A FAX MACHINE RING.

Have not been receiving packages in which the informed delivery states is in or at the mailbox. The total of the merchandise thus far is over $125 . Not sure what is going on. I know Covid may cause delays but at least let the mail show up when it states delivered. My disappointment in the USPS/postal worker is beyond measure at this point.
I sent a lot of boxes in the mail but the last three boxes mostly everything thing was broke you can list everything but nobody cares about package and how there handle one was cofffee cup I bobble wrap and put inbox and put other box and mail stated that it was glass and it was broke.if you want people us the post office thing have to arrive not damaged these were small thing but should have not gotten broke my it nut crackers also that’s all I can say I was disappointed in how they were handled
I live at, 178 Candlewicke Drive, Dover, DE 19901. We have not received mail in three days. Two weeks ago, a package from my investment company was open when I received it. Please let me know what on earth is going on. This has never happened before. No mail and letter opened. I am very disappointed.
Very disappointed in the service. I have tried calling multiple times today, and the phone number listed goes to a fax. Tried to drop off a bulk mailing yesterday, after I called, and they said it was fine to bring in.....waited at the window for 30 minutes before anyone attended me, and then they didn't know what to do to help me. I left a check and 453 mailings to go out. I have no idea if they will get processed or not. Very frustrated. I am 45 minutes away, and do not want to make another trip just because they have their phone on the fax line. Ug.
Horrible! I've had many packages by the Dover post office claiming they delivered a package yet NEVER did. I currently have a package according to the tracker that UPS passed off to the Dover post office and accepted by them a week ago. Why it is just sitting there and no attempt to deliver? And Democrats want mail in ballots for everyone??? Seriously, what could go wrong??? Over 13 million ballots went missing in 2016 and 2018...
I think the Post Office should and is an American institution n should always be. Support your Veterans now! You all act like a bunch of panty waist cry babies! Be advised,most of the postmen n ladies were doing their share of protecting your right of free speech while you were enjoying life! Being miserable n away from people they love for you, I’ve seen,n they have to,how the other parts of the world live.It teaches you a valuable lesson...don’t take nothing for granted.
That's all fine and dandy but they still need to perform the job their being paid for. Late mailings, failure to pick up or deliver packages and snooty attitudes at the counters is a perfect reason for people to be angry, veteran or not if they are then I expect better of them just as I provided during my 31 years as a firefighter. Plus no way to call in to find where your stuff is during this covid 19 pandemic is not right.

This Post Office is terrible! No one answer the phone for service. They need to go out of business. Glad I left them 15 years ago.
Left on hold for over an hour while checking on a package that was supposedly delivered, but we never got. 2 different people spoke to me and neither were friendly or helpful. The man who answered when to check on it and never returned to get my call. Another person got on and asked my address and asked if I was the person she was helping. When I said that I was holding for a man that had answered, she put me back on hold. I called back and Mr. Rodney answered and said he had a lot going on. He had no intention of picking up my call and speaking to me.
For the third time in one year the post office has claimed to deliver a package to me and I do not have it. And they do not know where it is. After being on hold for an hour I get a "We'll try to determine where it was delivered and get back to you in 72 hours". Meanwhile I'm out $100 and have no merchandise. Our postal system needs to be dismantled. No wonder people are willing to spend extra for Fed Ex. But boy they sure can get that bundle of junk mail to you every single week. Wish they'd lose it just once.

The mail should have been: Country Village Apartment Homes, 480-A Country Drive, Dover DE 19901. Instead the envelope may have stated 408-A Country Drive, Dover DE 19901. Calling doesn't work u can't get a hold of any one your on hold for over hours if not longer, the number that displays when you look it up doesn't work all I get is the number u called can't be reached at this time. All in all if the postal services needs a major overhaul or there business will
loose even more customers to the point that there will be more post office closing.
My mail was to be held for 5 days then delivered. That was 2 days ago. I am on hold with the P.O. All I want to know is if my held mail will be delivered today. I want to know before they close in case I have to go pick it up. My estimated wait time was 3 minutes. I’ve now been on hold for 50 minutes. It’s very, very aggravating!!
1) Lost mail from Millcreek Delv. Dover De. 19904, is getting out of hand and costing me money, (voided checks) I have to resend a new check. 2) In last year a lot of my mail is being put in the wrong mail boxes. How much mail is not being returned to me,and kept and looked at by other people in the Millcreek area. ???? 3) please review your policy's and standards for keeping my mail secured ....TY...
Poor customer service. Post office is not delivering package and making false statement saying they attempted and person moved. Lisa at the front desk is a liar. She lacks professionalism and does not need a job lying about mail...that’s a federal crime to tamper with mail. Randy who is she someone who sits in the back and clearly doesn’t know how to handle situations. She clearly needs to be not a supervisor!
They place fake information in the tracking.

Very bad service I have been on hold for over 1 hour and half to report that the mail man left the boxes open in the hallway. Any one can take the mail out of the boxes this is not the first time. Something needs to be done. You call the Dover post office and they don't even pick up phones. I had the on hold for 45 minutes.
I had a notice from Amazon that an attempt to deliver a package failed and that a notice was placed in my mailbox. This in fact did not happen. No notice was left in my mailbox but my other mail was. I don't know who the postman was that was delivering mail today but they weren't my normal postman. I want to make sure that my package reaches the correct address and not some stranger as I needed those articles in that package today.
Wow, I was surprised to see that my letter from Indonisia was returned back to sender back, because I moved and haven't left a moving address. What a pile of crap! I never moved from the address I reside and someone decided not to work and returned my letter back to sender. That person should be tracked & fired for doing things like that. Bad, Bad for the postal Service
"Sigh". Mailed card to little girl 14 Jan 2017. Received card back today 3 Feb 2014. Stamped on it was Postage Due Name; 1st notice; 2nd notice. & below that Return to sender, no such number unable to forwad. I had recent eye surgery. I wrote the street address & house number & what SHOULD have been 4052 became 4062 because my eyes are not healed. But the NAME was on the envelope. The other mail with the same name muist have been delivered??? It was on the Air Base. so it was returned to me & the child didn't get her card from her auntie.
My father served over 30 years as a USPS employee. He could tell you who his customers were, & when several of them had the same last name...which address they belonged to. This conveys to me that the carrier had a **$ attitude.
More so when I spoke to my niece & she said they have had issues with their mail. She was getting her neighbors bill & after 3 months left the carrier a note that that bill belonged two holes over (group of mailboxes) & for her effort received a snarky reply "everybody makes mistakes." Month after month?? What personal mail (think privacy act) of theirs is being passed around the mailbox mis filed?
Rather than leave comments here, we need to send snail mail letters to the postmaster & in the case of the unanswered telephones go up the chain from the USPS in Dover to the Regional or if necessary the Postmaster General. SOmetimes we become complacent with mediocrity. Then again, with USPS finances... maybe they have a hiring freeze & too many temp carriers who don't get to "know a route". But issues should be addressed so they can be dealt with properly.
Daddy was a letter carrier & his patrons loved him. Because he cared about them & prided himself on doing his best.
I have tried calling the Dover Post Office (302-734-5822) on a few days over the past couple of weeks. One afternoon I tried at least a dozen times over a three hour period. Every time I have tried calling, I get a busy signal. This is unacceptable. There should be a way to call the post office and be able to leave a message if no one is available to answer. How can I do that?????
Having lived in many different states and countries and in big cities and small, I have dealt with a wide range of postal services and postal staff. I have been served by the Dover Post Office staff since 1992 and have never had anything but the best service. From regular mail; to special delivery; to mailing/receiving packages; to home pickup/delivery; to passports; to just buying stamps, I have been very satisfied with the prompt and courteous service at the Dover Post Office. Compared to the many other Postal facilities with which I have dealt, the Dover Post Office ranks among the best.
I seriously don't know why I don't just use UPS when I order anything. Every time I can literally sit in the window and watch on the day of my delivery and instead of even trying to deliver it they put a slip in that states that I wasn't there to accept it. Really?
today was a reminder of why i use cheswold post office for the past 10years even though i live in dover. Went in to pick up package and asked for 6 change of address forms. I was informed a little loudly that she couldn't give me that many. Then went on to say(still a little loudly) that she couldn't just go around giving out 10 forms to people because they'll run out. She asked me how many people have the same last name and i said two so she gave me two firms and told me to filll them out and check"family" on the cards. She never bothered to ask me why i needed that many just reprimanded me like a first grader who was hoarding the crayon box! I never bothered to explain why either because i was already a little embarrassed by her reprimand in front of a line of customers. Btw, i wasn't aware that the cost of those forms came straight from that employee's pocket. Sorry..my bad.
