I started going to the Cheswold Post Office almost 10 years ago, even though I live closed to the Dover Post Office. Even before the renovation of the Dover Post Office, it was always a chore to even find a parking space, not to mention the long lines once you were inside. I knew I had to make a change, thus I ended up in Cheswold. Each clerk I've encountered has been pleasant, always smiling, and super efficient. There's hardly ever a long line, and I never thought I'd look forward to going to any post office.
Absolute worst post office. The woman behind the counter is constantly on the phone the entire day. There has not been a time that I walked in there and that phone wasn't up to her ear, which leads to bad customer service. Not to mention, they close early everyday despite what the hour of operation say on the door and the web. I also had a package that was sent out weeks before Christmas and I was trying to track it down because it had been almost 4 weeks and no tracking information was showing up online. The other woman behind the counter was extremely rude about the whole situation and told me theres nothing she can do and didn't want to assist me any longer. I've been there many times since it's the only post office close to my house and I have a bad experience everytime. Customers are walking out the door constantly complaining. They need to hire people that actually want to work.
