your post office is terrible......lost mail, rude or stupid counter people, bad reputation , late daily deliveries..........when are you people gonna get with the program?

There are several box doors that are not closing properly. Is this something you can fix or is this our responsibility?

I came home to find out my neighbor found half my mail at the end of the driveway. I watched cameras and the mailman drops half my mail at the end of the driveway and a letter at the mailbox. He picks up the letter at the mailbox. I feel great my tax documents are secure through US mail. Thanks. Enjoy mail thieves it is on the road.

I am beside myself, this post office has lost three of my packages in one year, two were found destroyed, even though they were priority mail they said no insurance and they wont pay. Priority mail has an automatic 100 dollars insurance, but they are denying me that. This is the only post office I have ever had problems with. Dropped a package off day after Christmas to their drop box in the building, it is now nowhere to be found, I seriously want to get an attorney to deal with them. This is unbelievable. Sandra

Tracking says my package was delivered To 5885 W. 14th avenue Apt 202 90214 on August 5 2022 at 1:25 PM to a "parcel locker". I never got the key to the locker, so now I don't know where it is.

What the heck is going on? Our community mailbox lock is broken and it's been over TWO MONTHS since we've received mail. It's been reported, but no action has been taken. I make my weekly trek to the post office, wait in line and ask to pick up my mail. The worker asks if its a vacation hold & my response is "no" & I explain the situ. I've asked for a contact, but they refuse and tell me it'll be fixed soon. Now I hear there's just one person in the entire Denver area fixing broken locks. Can I get a job doing this???

I would have to admit initially I messed up, I accidentally entered in one wrong number on my address. I noticed this and called them, they said they could not change the address and resend it but I could come in and retrieve it myself, I left my number so they could call me when it was a good time to come pick it up. It’s been two days later never received a phone call and I’ve tried calling with no pick up. now my package is on its way back to New York. Little disappointed.

2 packages 📦 2 W2s and 3 Card replacements have not been delivered even though the app for our mail says its delivered. So what it looks like is someone is stealing our mail or the mail man is throwing it. I saw if our tax dollars are going here we stop giving to USPS and close them down for good. If FedEx or UPS or even Uber/lyft can manage to do they're jobs right for a fee than just cut out USPS

Mail is being intransfered again to apartment 103 and lake oof police has also told u and me they are confiscating the mail from that apartment and no one is allowed to change my address from g3 with out proof of identity call Lakewood police

The mail delivery here, in Lakewood, is awful. We have not received mail in 3 or 4 days. When we do get it its after 9:00 P.M. I see that other people are having the same problem. Our Block on West 29th Place has not received mail for 3 or 4 days. What the heck is going on. I will do my best to get rid of DeJoya.

They literally never answer the phone. I have tried multiple times a day and no one ever answers!

My daughter and I came in to have her passport processed and photo taken. The photo was rejected by the passport agency. I have tried calling but nobody answers the phone. It just rings until it gets disconnected. The next appointment isn't until Feb 3rd and we cannot wait that long as her trip is upcoming. Very angry at the lack of customer service. (Pro Tip: The UPS Store provides the same passport services. Do yourself a favor and go there instead. They answer their phone.)

My mail is always delayed here in Lakewood. Have never received ballot to vote. Second ballot sent from county. Haven't received second one. Horrible postal service.

Lakewood CO, has terrible mail service. I have been waiting for 3 weeks for important documents. They have not arrived. They were send 1st class from another post office so I know the postage was correct and the address was double checked. The replacement cost for these documents is expensive. I have always been able to trust the US Postal Service, I don’t think that is the case any longer. I had them resent using Fed Ex. The package arrived without issue. What’s going on here?

Whoever delivers to Dartmouth Woods in Lakewood should be fired. He/she sent back important medications (THREE different ones!), a check I need to pay rent, and registration stickers for my car for no reason as the address was CORRECT on all items! All of these items are EXTREMELY important - not to mention the difference between life and death for the medications - and I have had a VERY hard time tracking this information down, figuring out what your employee did wrong and then trying to rectify the situation. This is UNACCEPTABLE!

One of your post carriers needs retraining. Sent a registered letter with return receipt requested to a residence on Vance Street in Lakewood. I alerted the household of the pending letter and the need for a signature. Post carrier delivered letter to a person but stated that a signature was not required. All is well because it was received but obviously s/he did not following the correct protocol. Note that the residence does not have a signature on file. Thank you.

Besides not being pleased mail delivery at 6 or 7 pm, I am concerned about handling of medications. Most recently, I tracked my meds and arrival was to be yesterday, Jan 6. I received nothing which is a bit concerning. This afternoon (Jan 7), my neighbor came to the door with my medication bag in hand. She found it sitting against her front tire of her car under the carport because her patio is locked due to dogs. Wrong address to the one on the bag which was correct. There is a difference between 28 and 32. All around poor delivery is getting concerning.

I am not getting everyday mail delivery. I put out mail to be picked up and for 3 times in the last week I haven't had any pick up or mail. This is just WRONG...I should be able to get mail everyday...my address is 1777 Simms St. 80215.

I can't get anyone to answer the phone at the Lakewood (Alameda) branch. I have tried for two days, it just rings and rings. I finally called the 1-800 number and after listening to all the choices, and trying several, I finally got to speak to a nice woman. She tried calling the post office's internal number and still no answer. She was not able to help me. I need to contact the mobile postal van that comes to our community. It did not show up today and I'd like to get a schedule for them. There is no phone number posted for them. Where is the customer service??? Please contact me asap. Thank you.

I am currently on vacation in Arizona, having left CO on Oct.16. I live at 3060 Quail St. in Lakewood. A few days prior to leaving I filed a mail forwarding application at the Post Office on Alameda Ave.. Since departing, mail has been delivered to my home on the 16th, 17th, and 18th. This despite the fact that I went to the P.O.where I am currently at, filed another forwarding request, and after explaining my situation to the P.O. attendant, she said she would immediately file it and even call the Lakewood P.O. to inform them of my request This is lousy service and could be damaging. Something must be done!

Why is it they don't answer their phone. Have called several times and still get no answer. An answer to a question the might tale less then a minute to answer. Now I have to get in my car and run over there. Also several months ago I bought a guitar, the post office said they delivered. I never did get it. Its amazing they let this kind of thing happen.

Have you stopped answering your phone entirely? I let it ring and ring and finally it goes to a busy signal. You simply don't answer. Are you trying to prove that the US doesn't need a notional postal service?

Terrible service, tried calling the Lakewood PO eleven times, no answer.

The Lakewood Post Office is overcharging customers. Yesterday, I went in to ship 3 items. They overcharged to send a hand cancel letter (charged at parcel rate - nearly 4 times what it should be), and attempted to overcharge for a bulky flat rate priority mail envelope. I just verified this with the Post Office pricing center Stand your ground and don't let them get away with overcharging us. By the way, they don't answer their phone - another sign of poor service.

They are not okay !!!! I have had sub- mailman be rude and slam our door closed ! Taunt our dogs with the mail box sound to get them all barking . Caught him in the act and acted like he couldn't get some of the mail in while jiggling our mailbox for 15 seconds.

HORRIBLE. They answered the phone- to put it down and I have now been on hold for 1 hour 35 minutes!!!!!!!

I completed the online request to hold my mail while on vacation for a week. All my mail WAS delivered to my mailbox on 6 of 8 days, including an active credit card. Then they included the Hold notice when delivery resumed as if they had really helped. Thank you good neighbors for clearing out my box.

I have never had a problem with this office, when I have called I was helped immediately. The phone number does work, I just called there.
