In the whole Southport area of West Sacramento, thieves have broken into many mailboxes. It seems like every few days; there is a new mailbox that has been jimmied open. I've noticed the replacement mailboxes seems sturdier and made of thicker metal. Does the post office plan to replace or reinforce the existing mailboxes to protect their customers' mail?
I just dropped my mail off around 5:25pm
and the mail box was so full that I had to shove my mail in. Part of it was still hanging out. The mail I needed to send out are Court dockets for people who need to appear in court. It says mail should be picked up at 5. It was 5:25pm. I really hope that someone clears it soon. I went to the main post office to get my mail asap. This is the second time this has happened.
I have had a package that had shown the status of received by West Sacramento post office since August 4th 2020. Today is the 17th. This is truly unacceptable. I have an item I’ve paid for but haven’t received.
I have SEVERAL packages with delivery dates going back to the end of JUNE that say they were delivered to W Sacramento facility and I still haven't gotten them. Where are they? Do you have enormous warehouses full of undelivered packages? Reading the comments, I see I am far from the only one. These orders are from different companies and I should have received them months ago. What is going on? Can we pick them up? Would you even be able to find them if I tried to pick it up myself??
What is the problem with this postal center? I have had many packages get stuck here and mysteriously disappear in route to my home in Central California. Are the employees stealing the packages or are they just grossly incompetent and loose everything? This place needs to be shut down. They have had problems for the last several years but during the pandemic, the problem is at a whole new, over the top level.
Are the current delays caused by the recently reported cases of COVID-19? At least 8 employees infected. When referring to the posted information concerning our Priority Mailed package, it only states that the delivery will be delayed. Terrible service and then USPS is to provide delivery of vote by mail ballots and return them before the deadline for returning! 🤔☹️
This post office needs to be shut down. They have lost or delayed shipping by 2 weeks or more on numerous packages of ours over the past 2 years. A disgrace to the normally functioning postal integrity.
I hope that this review and numerous other ones about the lack of efficiency at this facility reaches higher officials that can make changes.
I have a package stuck there since 17 July. Tracking number 9505513821660199795007. I am a retired postal employee. Worked in this facility in the maint. dept. I was an PS-9 electronic tech. Not likely this info will help at all. I think calling them will not help either.

I have two packages lost in transit at this branch. One has been there since June 27th, and another from July 11. How long is acceptable before I claim them as "lost". I've also have had seeds go missing at this facility. Can't blame it all on Covid..what's going on?

I am unsure of the difficulty; I placed an order. Unfortunately, it has been at the warehouse for at least a week. I am unsure of their process. Their email solutions don't actually go anywhere. After reading the other reviews, it would appear that my Covid-19 masks are gone for good. Maybe all of our packages are having a big party at the West Sacramento post office.

And the Rona Virus don't have shit to do with these theives taking so long to send people sh*t.. I have now had three packages that say “in transit” at west Sacramento post office and then they never reach me. One has been there for almost a month and the other two now four days. It is over $100 worth of merchandise and I dong know who to contact but this is unacceptable and I would appreciate someone to contact as this location has consistently lost my packages.

I have been waiting for a package since June 21st. Tracking states it arrived in West Sacramento on June 21st, but it hasn’t moved since then. Where is my package?? This is the 3rd package that I’ve “lost” in West Sacramento. I’m beginning to think your employees are pocketing our packages.
I have a package that has been there since April 21st and an ETA of April 23rd to my house. I know everything has been slow since of everything going on, and I’ve tried to be patient and mindful of the situation but after countless tries to contact UPS, USPS and the company from where I purchased my package, it’s completely unacceptable. An email or phone call or something saying that they’re doing their best to send out packages and that it’s on it’s way would be more than enough but I haven’t gotten any feedback. A poor way to handle customer service

RE: I received my package roughly a week to two weeks ago. However they didn’t send me any updates or emails regarding my package until after it was delivered. Trust me I went through the whole making a claim/emailing/calling situation and ended up short handed. It’s frustrating but I did receive it. I hope you receive your package soon.

I know with COVID-19 things are running slow but I have one package that has been sitting in this warehouse for 12 days now. I just checked tracking on a different order which has now been sitting in the same place for 4 days. It's lucky I don't desperately need anything in those packages.
Extremely poor. I know things are slow because of COVID-19, but this is ridiculous. Tracking shows they have been sitting on my package at the West Sac facility for over 24 hours. Their own predictions told me I would have it two days ago. If you can't keep up with your own predictions, revise the predictions. The package left Florida two weeks ago. First class, my foot.
Where is my package? Tracking shows that is has been in West Sacramento for 5 days -- less than 3 miles away. I have received four notifications that say it is "In Transit To The Next Facility." What the heck does that mean? The next Facility is me. What is so difficult about this? Good thing it's not medicine! Just my face-masks that I am county-ordered to wear.
