Every time I have a package that lands in West Sacramento it sits there for a week or more. I have had several packages never leave there. I currently have 3 packages that have been sitting there for 4 days now

So we run this gas station around the corner from this postal office...and we have night shift customers from this post office....there is a postal employee male in his 30s light skin Hispanic wears eye glasses and hat...so we caught him stealing 35c gum ,oh I know why because he buys beer on his working hrs everyday,so I confronted him and he agreed to pay... everything went fine but then he steal again and now he has argument with my nite employee regarding to the mask ...now I don't want him in our store...

Purchased a bird from a long-time, reputable breeder. He mailed it Priority Express. I have a photo of the package, which is a special package with HUGE letters "LIVE BIRD". I signed up for Informed Delivery. Well, the package made it to the CA distribution center and was never shipped. Called and waited 1 hour 40 minutes to speak to an Agent. She was aghast and put in a claim to search for the package. The Breeder also called and called. It is now 2 days since the bird was given food or drink and for all we know, it is in a box inside a hot, loud facility slowing dying of dehydration. The Breeder has been sending Birds this way for years, he cannot believe this distribution center has been so derelict in their responsibility. The Agent took all my info and promised I would receive an email and/or phone call by this after noon. Of course no one followed through. Now I get to tell my disabled daughter that her bird is not coming. I'll leave out the part where the bird slowly suffered and died. Thanks, USPS, you're the best

Priority mail (2 day) envelop sent from Beatty, Nevada 89003 to West Sacramento, CA 95691 with tracking number got to West Sacramento regional distribution center after 5 days, then after two more days got sent back to Las Vegas distribution center...WHY??? I am here waiting in West Sacramento, after calling Post Office was told the item was "circling around" in the West Sacramento Distribution Center (1.6. miles away) then I called the number for distribution center (916)373-8630 given me by postal employee (Tim Elly)at West Sacramento Post Office on Merkley Avenue... waited for 20 minutes listening to a repetitive message "please wait your call is important to postal service" ...nobody answering so here I am still waiting for a "priority" mail that started out with a scheduled delivery date of Dec 2!!!

So I shipped a package to Massachusetts, and it never made it. I hope whomever took the Guess wallet in the package enjoys it. Now, I have to go find another one for my customer. Thieves are not good to have working at a Postal Service Hub.

I had a bracelet shipped from Las Vegas to Fair Oaks, CA. When I tracked it today it showed that it was at your facility on July 10th. After that it went to Davis. On checking with the Davis post office I was told that it ended up there because one of your incompetent employees put it in the wrong bin. I needed it for a gift today and of course it's not here. Perhaps you should explain to your employee to double check where the packages go. This is most annoying.

My package is just stuck in the west Sacramento facility and nobody's willing to look for it. Every person I've spoken with told me they would call me back but they never do. I just want my package which I paid extra to have it sent faster to me . All my updates about the package say it's keeps looping around in Sacramento. Please help me someone!!!!!!

I am having the exact same problem since Monday. My package supposedly left the West Sacramento sort facility, but never arrived at the local post office. Everyone I talk to has a different story, and the tracking never updates. I am furious, and likely to lodge a complaint in any and every way I can think of.
