It is impossible to talk to a real person via the 800 number phone tree. Even after 30 minutes of navigating. That truly shows what’s wrong with a so-called service that has no interest in actually being of service. And when calling a local number, it hangs up when you ask for an agent.

The current supervisor is a condescending a-hole.. who doesn’t care about personal safety as long as his employees get their job done. I’ve spoke with him 2x on the phone and he’s rude... and an insult to the postal service members..

I should have written this review a little sooner, but I actually have a compliment! I recently moved to Newbury Park, and this is the first time I’ve lived in a place that has an apartment number. Needless to say, I forgot to add my apartment number to my address when I ordered online. I followed the package, and was ready for arrival, when I got the notice “package returned to sender for insufficient address”. I needed that package, and I couldn’t wait for it to go back to the sender, so I rushed down to the post office. I walked in and explained my situation, like a madman, to the lady behind the counter. Her name was Duyen. Duyen was patient, and after a long bit of looking, tracked down my package and made me a happy camper! People like Duyen, that have good customer service skills, are an asset to any organization or business. Duyen definitely saved the day! Thank you!

I have called the number twice with no issue... when placed on hold it is the same usps announcements and music... you can always call the 1800 number. As far as the service i was born and raised out here.. when the post office close to ventu closed down it took some getting used to as location is a bit unconvenient but a number of employees came over to this location... they are great in the post office and my postman is pretty nice as well... i have had at least 1 or 2 mixups over the years but considering the volume of mail/packages we receive i would say they are doing an excellent job... thats imo of course...

The workers present at this post office should be FIRED ASAP, especially the mailman that delivers to MY house He has either a) delivered MY package to the INCORRECT address, or MISPLACES and LOSES them for MULTIPLE days on end Unacceptable how incompetent these workers are The USPS needs to hire a better group of workers to inhabit this building because the current ones are ABSOLUTE GARBAGE AT THEIR JOB

Very inefficient staff. I requested on the form to forward my mail temporarily for 3 months while I am out of country to my relative's forwarding address I provided on the form. It is Temporary. But the staff made their own assumptions and entered into their computer it as permanent move and send alerts to all mailers including insurances and my pension and social security to change my address because I moved out. It is a joke. I contacted the post office and they told to cancel the order they provided me. But again they changed my relative address and mail to my address because his last name is mine. He got such a headache. Who asked the post office to change my relative address? Can't deal with them anymore. Morons

These morons are one of a kind. THEY decide on their own to return your mail to sender even though you have provided a valid address. It's just unbelievable the kind of headache I've been through to cleanup the mess these jokers made.

I requested to hold my mail while I'm out of town. At the end day of holding mail must be delivered. It did not happen. Most likely the delivery moron who does not know how to read dropped my mail somewhere else - this happened many times and looks like nothing you can do: THEY DON"T CARE, shame on them

The location is in the furthest possible corner of the map that could still be called Newbury Park. I hate when someone ships me something that requires a signature through the PO, I always end up having to drive over there. Used to be less than a mile from my home, in the middle of Newbury Park.

The service at this location is dreadful and the female who answered the phone re: my lost mail was beyond rude. I have no idea how people like herself stay employed when her behavior was not only unprofessional but downright unacceptable.
